Editors Note: This video expose the arrogance and attitudes on display at the New Jersey Educations Association teachers conference. The article below is from the New Jersey Star Ledger, who’s reporter is obviously attempting to discredit James O’keefe. Conservative activist James O’Keefe has released a video — titled “Teachers unions gone wild” — claiming to show undercover footage from a New Jersey Education Association leadership conference at the East Brunswick Hilton hotel.
The video shows people identified as teachers playing arcade games on “their dime,” chanting about kicking Gov. Chris Christie “in the toolbox,” and talking about how hard it is to fire a tenured teacher.
NJEA spokesman Steve Baker said O’Keefe is “completely and utterly discredited.”
“It’s James O’Keefe and that’s all you need to know,” Baker said, citing O’Keefe’s legal troubles in the past.
“I’m sure he sent people into the conference,” Baker said, but added O’Keefe dubbed the video and audio afterward.

Most of our modern day teachers are losers, and people who can't cut it in the real world. Teachers are the bottom rung of students at any university, and their job in this modern world of propaganda and socialism is far over rated. We need real teachers, dedicated people to truth, and willing to accept criticism for failed programs and policies. As long as the Federal Government is involved, these losers will continue to destroy our children and steal money from the taxpayers.
Gerald:
I am a National Merit Scholar who graduate summa cum laude from a large university, and I am a teacher. Teachers have little to no control over educational legislation; therefore, we do not need to accept responsibility for failed programs. As for being able to cut it in "the real world," I was unaware that educating America's children was a "fake" job. If you're looking for "dedicated" people, maybe you should try to find someone who is willing to to be at work an hour early and stay two hours past their contract time every day. Maybe this person should also spend a large part of his personal salary on classroom materials. He should probably also be willing to volunteer his time and energy to sponsor community service organizations.
Furthermore, he should accept be cursed at, assaulted, and generally disrespected by the people with whom he interacts everyday…without responding in a similar fashion. OH NO WAIT!!! This person is the modern day teacher!!! Your hatred for unions should not require you to disrespect passionate individuals who dedicate their lives to ENCOURAGING our children for A HUMBLE SALARY. Oh, I mean destroying them whilst stealing from the taxpayers. Your post = Epic failure.
Thanks for your service, You'reWrong. Don't you just love all the nitwits who criticize people who do jobs they can't do and wouldn't do if they could–and then act like there's some grand conspiracy keeping greedier folks out?
Unions are out of control.
Thomas, let me disagree. Unions are not out of control but too much in total control. A worker was sent home because he wore a cap and sweat shirt with the Aircraft Carrier George W. Bush and the Union dididn't llike it. That is the control I am talking about. The rank and file believe they are free. Maybe Juan Williams thought so, too, only to find you are only free to agree with the authority you are under. Otherwise, you are absolutely correct.
I propose a Kick a SEIU memeber in the nards day. Same type of things for ACORN workers.
A better course would be to do away with those government entities that gives the SEIU their strength. We can fire the government from controlling our schools. Anyone can teach something he knows and understands so we have and adequate supply of good teachers well able to educate the children but they must use the proper teaching tools, which is the last thing on the government school agenda. This has been going on well over a hundred years. To break that grip will take some effort but when the dust settles we can be back into a similar system of Schools but with out the government propaganda. Our church did it. Home schoolers did it and there are private schools that educate. Why indoctrinate?
That is a hilarious video—too bad it is right.
Our tax dollars at work–NOT!!!
Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie is not going to like this!
I would not want to be any of the individuals on this film & have to face Governor Christie!
If this is the upper echelon of leaders at the New Jersey Educational Association Teachers Conference Leaders then the educational system in New Jersey appears too be in much worse of a state than even Governor Christie imagined.
Jame's O'keefes video & investigation of the union was excellent undercover investigative work. For The New Jersey Star to try & spin this story is insane on their part! It is as if The New Jersey Star is
telling the general public that they are mindless & can not believe their own sight or hearing.
