This is so disgusting and disturbing to think there are so many people out there who would commit murder at the drop of a hat and not blink an eye. And THEY are the ones who have the audacity to talk about hate speech. They are truly depraved. Reading those comments on Twitter was a shocking wake-up call to how really dangerous the Leftists are.

What is it with you vitriolic morons wishing Palin be shot. Stand back and listen to yourselves. It is you who are the problem, preaching hate and death wishes to others and thereby putting the seed into the minds of those who think like you and also have their upstairs wires crossed who with their simple mind goes forth and does the act. I somehow get the impression that he just puts the stories up and goes home for the
night and then works on the next day's stories and doesn't even check comments.
Pretty much the same as msn.com.
However sometimes I get the impression on msn that their employees have multiple
accounts and spend the day commenting on their own articles (agreeing with themselves).
Caleb has responded to me at least once, when I questioned the accuracy of a headline. I may be misremembering (Caleb, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), but as I recall his defense was that he was just repeating the bad headline that came with the original piece.

James, feel free to make a list yourself it’s a free country. I didn’t compile this list, but I did feel it was worth sharing because it shows the hypocrisy of those on the left who attempt to use a tragedy for political gain. People on the left used violent rhetoric to attack President Bush and now other leading conservatives and the media never bats an eye or points fingers. And now people on the left want to blame Beck and Palin for the violent actions of an a political madman who never watch cable news or listened to talk radio anyways. Instead of only blaming people on the right all people who advocate violent acts against someone should be shunned from political discourse.
James, feel free to compile your own list. It is after all a free country. I posted this video to illustrate the point that progressives are as vitriolic if not more so than most conservatives in their comments about our political leaders. The media loves to blame conservatives for "hate speech" and a worsening of the political dialogue, but it was leftists/ progressives who were out burning effigy's of President Bush and the media never batted an eye. I agree with many media commentators that this type of violent rhetoric has no place in our civil society, I just wished they used some intellectual honesty to look at those at fault on both sides.
I feel no need to wade through past comments to make a list–they're easy enough to find, if anyone cares enough–and I agree with you that there's too much stupid hateful rhetoric on both sides.
And despite that, I've noted elsewhere on this site that it's silly to blame language from Palin or anyone else for the actions of others. That's also why proposed laws or a constitutional amendment to prevent flag burning–an act I find offensive, unless it's done in the proper referential manner–are stupid.

well on these two things we agree, you can't blame Palin/ commentators for the actions of mad men and violent hateful discourse should have no place on either side of the political debate. That's a start. Hope you have a good day.
I sat after watching the pep rally last night and watched some of the hardball clips
on msnbc last night and just let the que play through to the next short commercial
and the next sequence. Those hardball guys (gays?) just kept spooting about even
if it isn't talk radio "we will continue to say it is", claiming that Sara Palin was claiming to
claim to be a Jew and calling the Jewish community to arms, insisting that if talk radio
didn't cause this shooting "it will cause the next one!". Then, "oh the President just finished
his (nice) speech and he asked you to all stop the bickering" so all you Republicans have to
obey the President now and be civil now, so shut up as he just said, NOW!"
James, if you can't see that the MSMBC staff are trying to provoke some type of civil war,
I really don't know what else to say. I hope Caleb (wcfj)? caught some of those
I think almost everything on MSNBC and Fox News, especially during prime time, is a waste of time. I am interested in the frequent references I see to "Civil War, though–I don't understand who anyone thinks the "sides" would be in such a war. Especially since most Americans aren't paying attention to any of us who are spouting off here or on cable "news."
No one ever said it. But Schulz, Oberman, Matthews and that crew seem
to want somebody else to go on another shooting rampage that they can
escalate and blame tea partiers next time and eventually get the whole
ball rolling.
