I am a Vietnam Veteran and I support my fellow Veteran and his Support of our Right to Bear Arms no matter what this Liberal professor Idiot says that the Constitution is out dated and does not apply to Today. They want to destroy and get rid of it and the Bill of Rights to Control us.
With the muslim terrorists in top government positions in our country and 99% of Congress is Corrupt, Now more than ever the American Citizens have to get ready for the takeover of our country. Government doesn’t want us to have guns so they can kill American citizens easier with no reprocussion
History proves you are right, All Governments over time will become corrupt, our forefather knew that going in.. They didn’t put pin to paper in writing the 2nd Amendment in order to preserve HUNTING rights… But the Gun-Grabbers hope to convince people that is the meaning….

The CONDESCENSION in the brown shirt’s tone of voice made me fill my barf bucket. The woman seems to have given up altogether in the face of reasoned people.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights are the Law of the Land established to tie the hands of Government in order to maintain Liberty from a repressive and/or tyrannical Government.. It was intended that this document would serve for all time for the same reasons then and until now.. Many Countries have copied the form of Government and rights enshrined in our Constitution for a reason.. It is NOT a living Document to be changed every time the political wind blows in a different direction, it is the foundation (Law) that keeps those political storms in check and under the control of the governed… Straying outside of its Law destroys Liberty for all..
The 2nd Amendment has NOTHING to do with hunting or the weapons used for that purpose, period…..
The 2nd Amendment has EVERYTHING to do with preserving Liberty and the weapons used for that purpose… This fact alone justifies Semi Automatic weapons with large capacity Magazines in the hands of Citizens.. Preserving Liberty is all encompassing, from personal Liberty against a Criminal aggressor to foreign invasion to Tyrannical Government Aggression.. To tell the truth, — We should never have gave up the right to possess fully automatic Machine guns back in the Thirties… They were banned for the VERY SAME reasons Semi Automatic weapons are being banned now… The goal then was to stop the carnage on the streets caused by waring Bootleg gangs in major cities who used them (Chicago Type Writer) was a name given to them… Citizens of the time could buy a Thompson sub-machine gun or a Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) from a catalog.. The premise was to ban them to stop the carnage of gangs….. The only ones who benefited were those gangs who still use fully automatic weapons to this very day.. Citizens lost their right to be equally armed… Now it is happening again with the very same reasons being given… A true Military definition of an Assault Rifle is a weapon that can be switched from Semi Automatic Fire, (one pull of trigger causes only one bullet to be fired), to FULL Automatic fire, (1 pull of trigger causes bullets to spray out until trigger is released or the weapon runs out of ammo).. So the SEMI automatic weapons being targeted because they LOOK like true Assault weapons is a purposeful misleading of the public to garner fear and support of banning them.. Millions of Gun-Grabbing Dollars are being spent to convince the public that the 2nd Amendment has to do with HUNTING in order to question the need for (so called ) “Assault Weapons” and “Large Capacity Magazines” to “HUNT”… Which is a good point IF that is what the 2nd Amendment is about, the problem is that it is not at all about Hunting but preserving Liberty on many levels…….
