Scott Davis is a program specialist at the Veterans Affairs national Health Eligibility Center (HEC) in DeKalb County, Georgia. He is also a whistleblower that has reported on the mismanagement at the VA.
“There is a backlog of over 600,000 pending applications for VA healthcare. That’s shameful.” Davis has been invited by Congressman Jeff Miller (R-FL) to testify next Tuesday at the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. He was asked by the VA Office of Inspector General to confirm rumors or activities of the destruction of 17,000 applications for veteran healthcare.
Davis talked to Neil Cavuto on Fox News to explain that there was pressure on front-line employees to rush through the application process in order to meet goals that would reward top leaders with monetary bonuses.
