He Lives! He Lives!
This morning in celebration I share these words from the 24th chapter of the Gospel of Luke.
Now upon the first [day] of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain [others] with them.
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
And as they were afraid, and bowed down [their] faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
And they remembered his words,
And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

An interesting piece of ancient Jewish history.
It was the custom for anyone eating a meal to signal to the person serving them when they were finished by leaving a crumpled napkin on their plate. If they leave their table for any reason, they would neatly fold their napkin to indicate they would be back. This is the custom even today but you may ask what this has to do with Jesus rising from the dead. When it was discovered that Jesus was missing from his tomb there was a napkin neatly folded indicating he would return. Happy Easter
WOW! That’s a great bit of Hebrew history, Jerry. Definitely provides ‘food for thought’. Thanks for sharing that.
Oh, and also – as long as you seem to be a ‘research hound’ as I am – please ‘check out’ the word ‘Easter’ for it comes from the fertility goddess – Ishtar. You’ll really enjoy reading about how Constantine got paganism all mixed up with the celebration of Passover – and if I’m right about your desire to learn – you’ll soon be forgoing the word ‘Easter’ (with all the ‘fairy tail’ crud about her coming to earth in an EGG and feeding BUNNIES to her son, Horus) so that Jesus will enlighten you as to what we are to ‘shed’ at this time of year (ie: Traditions that we’ve inherited from our wayward and deceived ancestors) so that we may truly worship HIM – in Spirit and in Truth.

Have you read Shocked by the Bible? It tells of the same thing about Ishtar, but goes into more detail on the Bible passages and the timeline from cross to resurrection. I’m still reading it, so I can’t comment on the overall aspect of it as yet..
Yeah, waryor – I’ve heard about the book – but, since I’ve been ‘nose in the WORD’ for 22 years, now – nothing it said ‘shocked’ me – but, ‘wowie zowie’ – this Ishtar-stuff is pretty hysterical and sadly, pervasive in our Western culture.
I ‘highly suggest’ a really entertaining Brother, Michael Rood – he’s the guy who has ‘A ROOD AWAKENING’ on youtube. All that I’ve listened to (which has been very entertaining) has been ‘spot on’ as the Australian’s say.
The saddest/funniest part of what he shares – for free – over youtube, says that Ishtar’s son – and he goes by several names, as he’s been ‘worshiped’ for several thousand years – is that his BIRTHDAY is actually December 25th. Hahaha. So, now we can ‘know’ that we not only talk about his mother – Ishtar during Passover – calling the time ‘EASTER’, but – we actually celebrate this boob’s birthday every ‘Christ-mas’ (that’s another eye-opener, my friend).
I, for one – have stopped celebrating either EASTER or CHRIST-MAS (and, boy oh boy – does that miff my friends and relatives, lemme tell You!) and have chosen to happily celebrate the seven feasts of GOD the Messiah – which are the ONLY FEASTS that He’s told us to celebrate.
It’s so wonderful, waryor – my JOY has been several-fold as I’ve listened also to ‘rabbi’ Kirt Schneider on ‘Discovering the Jewish Jesus’, as well. Kirt and I were high school acquaintances
in the 70′s – and in as far as I’m concerned, Kirt Schneider is THE BEST ‘student/product’ that Orange High School in Pepper Pike, Ohio – has EVER put out of it’s ‘system’.
Kirt also paid a VERY high price for being 100% Jewish from an orthodox family – when he accepted Jesus as his Savior and Master – because he was literally kidnapped (by his parents wishes) and hauled over to California to be ‘re-educated’ by a “de-programmer” because they thought that by claiming Jesus to be the CHRIST – that Kirt had indeed ‘lost his mind’.
That’s the sad ‘state of affairs’ that we now have in our Nation – and perhaps even globally now,
for if one follows The CHRIST – one indeed WILL suffer persecution from one’s own family members – JUST like Jesus told us, several thousand years ago – that we would.
Amazing, huh?
TRUTH and the study of TRUTH ‘never’ comes without a very high cost that is paid, dear waryor…
and yet – I am joyously reminded that Jesus said that He was THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE – therefore, I am quite nonplussed regardless the circumstances – to follow HIM and HIM ALONE.
(Kirt is still ;way ON FIRE for our Savior – I am thrilled to report and you will be very blessed, if you haven’t been already – by his PASSION FOR OUR CHRIST and his WORD…and when he prays – I truly feel the earth move – quite unlike Carole King did in her ‘tapestry’ song, too…)
When we ‘hear HIS VOICE’ our obedience, as HIS lambs – is just to SPEAK what we hear – and joyously, my Brother – Yeshua/Jesus The Christ/The Messiah will absolutely do HIS PART for us all.
That’s the PEACE that surpasses ALL our intellectual (read, ‘earthly’ here) understanding…and I’ve never been happier in bowing only to HIM.

While I know this hymn (I wonder…did you even LISTEN to it…hmmm…?) may be a ‘blast from the past’ for you and your trite words – the FACT is that until you’ve experienced what The Christ can and will do for (even) you – (as He did for ‘even me’, please allow me to clarify) you will assuredly allow The Truth to remain for you – a story about the tooth fairy or santa claus…or even – dare I say – the wicked witch of the west.
It’s ‘just the way it is’, sk. You’re just the same as the rest of humanity. We pop out on this plane with a pre-packaged bag of delusion, already in our possession.
But, on that one evening – at that ONE MOMENT IN TIME that you and your sarcasm will indeed fall ‘quite short’ when you run up against what Paul termed: ‘powers and principalities of this earth’ that will want to lay claim to you and scoop up your SOUL to take it straight to Hell – I only ask that you remember these words of mine:
Cry out to Jesus and say that IF He’s really ‘up there’ – you NEED A SAVIOR, RIGHT NOW!!!
For, Jesus – (Yeshua, if you’d rather – but, Jesus (and not even ‘Zeus’ either) died for You, sk. He loves you, His BLOOD will in fact, ‘cover you’ and all your sins – for, He in fact, ROSE AGAIN – conquering both Satan’s minions and Death – forever, on YOUR BEHALF.
I assure you – dear one. That’s exactly what I did on the evening of August 6/7th, 1990 and He WILL ‘save you’ – clearly, by your words – from YOURSELF – as He faithfully and lovingly and with POWER and STRENGTH – did for me.
God BLESS You, sk – that you remember these words when you will really need them.

Ya, fairy tale stories sometimes are fun to get lost in for entertainment purposes, but in this TRUTH “tale”, we are found after being lost. Hopefully, one day soon you will be found, also – please know that He’s looking for you. <
Good ‘find’, msueh. I completely agree and will stand with you as well as our ABBA wants to redeem His son. That’s for certain.

My dad served faithfully in the Navy in 1957. I thank you for your service to our country, Sir – AND to your service to our GOD.
It’s so ‘weird’ that no one seems to ‘know’ that we are in fact – spiritually DEAD till we come alive in HIM.
I’ve always found that ‘odd’… perhaps it’s cause we just don’t wanna admit it…and be made ALIVE in Him.

To know… and those who know not… Simple as that. It takes effort to get there. To become new …. in purpose, thru the change in you when you “know”. And you are known…. There are no words to describe what you feel when you live in spirit on a constant basis, for by “knowing”, you have gotten past “faith”, unto “knowledge” of HIM. Those who know not…. such a chosen loss for them. Chosen, though. Have you read “Heaven is for Real? The lightbulb flashed…. understanding of an even bigger picture of our current world… to die… without… this knowledge or hope or faith… than the gift of having your physical body is not yours. The energy of our spirit/soul is ever… it is the body that is a gift from Christ. Most will not have that… hence, hear the weaping and wailing of those who… “know not”. So much given, but not received in the heart.

On June 11, 2003 Democrat House member Vic Snyder [AR-2] introduced H.J.R 59 in the 108th Congress. It read, “Constitutional Amendment – Makes a person who has been a citizen of the United States for at least 35 years and who has been a resident within the United States for at least 14 years eligible to hold the office of President or Vice President.”
Co-Sponsors were: Rep Conyers, John, Jr. [MI-14]; Rep Delahunt, William D. [MA-10]; Rep Frank, Barney [MA-4]; Rep Issa, Darrell E. [CA-49]; Rep LaHood, Ray [IL-18]; Rep Shays, Christopher [CT-4].
There were eight attempts in 22 months trying to pave the way for the ineligible Obama. They appeared to to be ensuring that “born in Kenya” would not be a problem, as well as the need for two citizen parents. When this did not work, Barry’s enablers changed Barry’s birth place from Kenya to Hawaii and figured they could just blow off the two citizen parent requirement by making “native born” and “natural born” interchangeable.

This pretty much clears up the matter that Obama is NOT a “natural born citizen” but only a “citizen”.
What we, as citizens desiring that the rule of law be honored, must file criminal complaints, recall petitions and whatever else it takes to uncover and remove all elements of the conspiracy to place Obama into the position that he is now occupying illegally.
Frankly, I propose that now is the time to propose that a Constitutional amendment be framed requiring ALL Federal government positions be held by “natural born citizens, specifically of parents of United States citizenship” so that usurpers and those with ties and/or allegences to other countries cannot and shall not interfere with the government and people of the United States of America. In this way, Congress and the courts cannot be infiltrated and influenced by those not being loyal to the United States.
Let’s go one further: Why not make the same requirement for all state government positions?
This Great Country of ours has aloways been a country founded on RElLIGION. That was until THE CLOWN PRINCE O B U M E R – - THE ANOINTED ONE – - was elected. Then this ISLAM LOVER was elected and everything has gone down the tube sense them. We have had 4 years almost of this CLOWN.
