Union members protesting a right-to-work law in Michigan turn from picketing the capitol to intimidating other citizens supporting a right-to-work law, getting physical and screaming at a man playing a Ronald Reagan speech. One union member resorts to personally cussing out the man playing the speech.

These people make me sick and I am from a long line of union workers. Everyone has the right to work whether they belong to a union or not. Since most unions are dems, I would never join one.
They sound like brainless morons and they don’t look any better. Some of the “men?” in this video look even more stupid than they sound. Right to work laws don’t mean that they can’t have a union if they want one – it means that they can’t make me join their extortion club in order to work. I wonder how much these guys were paid to show up and look like idiots, or was it how much they would be fined by the union if they didn’t show up. Either way, it doesn’t say much for the rank and file that they aren’t smart enough to realize that they are being used by their union “leaders”.
I thought the commercials of the day were making the male look ridiculous but these men have done an even better job of it themselves. .. “Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho” Sounds like a Disney Movie!! I understand the idea that the rank and file feel threatened… but they just don’t get it! Their Union bosses are taking them for a ride. This is not a club or brotherhood as some call it. It deprives them of their individuality. They are slaves to the guys that take their money, who share it with the Dems and put a person in office that will keep them riled up to collect more money! Was Union.. but think their day has come and gone!
I thought the same thing. I think they are all imitating “dopey” from Snow White! They are nothing more than the union puppets. Sad that they buy into the union propaganda.
Years ago, I worked for Boeing. We had to join the Union. They didn’t do anything for us. I have also seen Management take advantage by hiring illegal immigrants for less money. It would be nice, If everyone would quit being greedy and work together.
Just based on the news I read it kinda looks like most of Detroits problems stem from the union. I`m not sure how much union dues costs but it must be a bundle. It seems like the unions have a lot of extra bucks to toss around. Do the members still have to pay dues when they’re not working?
I don’t care how much a member has to pay the union for the privilage to work its all for nil when they force the company into bankruptcy because of high labor costs. Same goes for cities and states. Schools have to lay off teachers etc,etc. Most union members feel like they work for the union when its suppose to work the other way around.
You are right, most of the problems in Michigan stem from unions. They have a strangle-hold on Detroit. If you want to have a seminar or meeting there and bring anything over 7 pounds in you HAVE to hire a union worker to do so. The Detroit Water and Sewerage Dept. still has to employ a horseshoer at an annual salary of $29,245. Detroit hasn’t had horses for many, many years, and this horseshoer doesn’t work with of the city’s horses, but when looking for a way to cut the budgetm it was suggested to the horseshoer’s position and the union leaders said it isn’t possible. DUH! http://now.msn.com/the-city-of-detroit-still-has-a-horseshoer-on-staff Michigan is an out-of-the-way state, surrounded by the beautiful Great Lakes, but no way to go straight through the state into another from east to west. If businesses are going to come to Michigan, there will have to be more incentives, such as right to work. I think this right to work legislation will be passed and I think it will be the best thing to happen to Michigan in a long time.
Time for America to move on and gert out from under this union mentality. At one time the greatest thing to happen to the working class, but aqs demonstraqted by this video, they haqve turned into nothing but thugs to protect their wages, not those of the working people. Working people are smart enough to think for themselves without having someone tell them what to say and do, and then have to pay them for that. Your time has passed Unions, or get back to what you were developed for, to truly help the working class.

Rebel Rouser , the ” union ” dues are 3% of your take home . And , you have to pay them , even if your not working . And , a ” union ” management won’t ” give you a job ” , you have to ” bid ” on it . Nothing but a scam ! And , to get up to the ” union ” , it’s not ” who you know , but rather who you blow ” . They are nothing but con artists .
A lot of you are blaming the ” union management ” for what their ” workers ” are doing , being thugs . Well , they are the one’s who send the ” Gestapo ” , but they are taking orders from Hussein and his lackeys . Hussein thinks that the people of this country , give him a ” landslide ” win in the election . WRONG ! The people of this country voted for Romney , he won by the Elective College vote . And , only by 2.5% , that’s not a ” landslide ” . And remember , the top Thug of the ” union ” of the Auto workers , said that , this past spring , that the ” union have to work for Hussein to get him back in the White House , and we will be his soldiers ” . Well , look at his little ” soldiers ” and what they are now doing to America .
