The United Nations Small Arms Treaty passed in its second session. The Media was silent over its passage.
According to the UN’s press release,
Concluding its two-week session today, the second United Nations conference to review the 2001 Programme of Action on trafficking in small arms and light weapons adopted a consensus outcome document that highlighted the international community’s renewed commitment to preventing, combating and eradicating the illicit trade.
The document’s adoption represented a major achievement for delegations, who had failed to agree on a final outcome at the first review conference, held in 2006. “We accomplished something great today,” said U. Joy Ogwu ( Nigeria), President of the Conference, formally known as the United Nations Conference to Review Progress Made in the Implementation of the Programme of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects.
According to the text, Member States renewed their pledge to rid the world of the scourge brought upon it by the illicit manufacture, transfer and circulation of small arms and light weapons, and their excessive accumulation and uncontrolled spread in many parts of the world. They also committed to mobilizing the necessary political will and resources to implement the Programme of Action and the International Tracing Instrument, with the aim of achieving clear and tangible results over the next six years, through 2018.
Further by the text, States emphasized that the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons continued to sustain conflicts, exacerbate armed violence, undermine respect for international humanitarian law and international human rights law, aid terrorism and illegal armed groups, and facilitate increasing levels of transnational organized crime, as well as trafficking in humans, drugs and certain natural resources.

I am much more concerned about the spread of large arms and massive weapons to rogue countries. The reason Japan’s invading fleet did not even think about steaming to the west Coast in WW2 was because they knew that the USA had the largest armed “civilian” army ever assembled and we would have been going at them from behind every rock, tree, fence or other obsticle the invading force would encounter. Unfortunately nowadays the invading culprit would appear to be our own corrupt federal government.
Nothing against the last few generations but with the advance of weaponry science we are even better shots than before. The federal symbol of the Bald Eagle just may have to be changed to the same symbol of the Taliban uses now. And that would be the “Duck”. Sorry to be the one to open your eyes, but the US Constitution was Secretly SET ASIDE in the Mid to Late 1940′s, and the ONLY Part that is still Active is the MARITIME LAW part of it. That is WHY you see the Gold Frenge around the US Flags in EVERY COURT HOUSE and State Building in the country. The Federal reserve Act of 1913 Signed into Law and Ratified by Both houses, became the LAW of the Land after the US Government went Bankrupt the first time, and every time after that, the Federal Reserve Act’s claws got sunk deeper into what we call Freedom. The Constitution is the “supreme Law of the Land.” It is controlling as to all officials of the three Branches of the Federal government–Executive, Legislative and Judicial–with regard to all of their pronouncements, actions, decisions, agreements and legislative Acts. Each of them is sworn, by oath of office, to support the Constitution only. To be valid, any treaty must be strictly in conformity to–free from any conflict with–the Constitution. A treaty is like a Federal law in this respect.
The Constitution is supreme over laws and treaties; it expressly states (Article VI, Section 2) that: “This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land . . .” This means that any such Law (Act of Congress) which violates the Constitution is automatically made null and void to start with–nullified by the Constitution itself–and therefore cannot be a part of the “supreme Law of the Land.” This is also true as to treaties.

The Constitution can only be amended by ratifiation of the people of 3/4 of the States. Regardless of what Congress does, if it doesn’t follow the Constitution ‘Rule of Law,’ it is illegal.

The Constitution was set aside by whom? Only the People with ratification by 3/4′s of the States can change or ‘set aside’ the Constitution. Even if it has been ignored by most Congresses for the past hundred years or more, it still exists and only awaits restoration by the People. It cann’t be changed, diminished or ended except by ratification of the People of 3/4′s of the States.
I have heard this so many times about the constitution being set aside. Its B.S., it may be ignored at times but if fully true then they would have already moved on the hardest of the rights to get rid of, the second,a long time ago.
We must make sure our Congress knows we will not abide by ANY UN Treaty. The U.S. will only be ruled by OUR laws and OUR Constitution. Get the U.S. out of the UN and kick the UN out of the U.S.!
I have to agree 100%. I took an oath to defend our Constitution and I will be damned if I follow any laws or guidelines set forth by the UN, Hillary or Obama.

Email the Secretary General of the UN and let him know what you think, and what the UN can expect if they decide to enter the United States for any reason especially if they enter for the sole purpose of removing our personal arms. I have already done this twice. I contacted by email the SG of the UN and told him that the Gun Owners of America will not take it to Kindly if he decides to send his comrades in to remove Our personal arms. I believe the more people who do this, he will at least know what to expect when he see his boys dropping down in front of him. I’m very disappointed that this article didn’t mention the U.S. response to this event. If Obama’s U.N. ambassador Susan Rice went along with this she should be fired at the least, or tried as a traitor at the most. Of course, neither of those would happen because she was just following orders from her boss. Obama has publicly said that he thinks people shouldn’t have guns, no matter how he gives lip service to or poses for our rights in this election. Spread the word to gun owners and people who love liberty everywhere: Obama is coming for our guns, make no mistake.
