“Representatives from many of the world’s socialist, tyrannical and dictatorial regimes [are gathering] at the United Nations headquarters in New York for a month-long meeting, in which they’ll put the finishing touches on an international Arms Trade Treaty that could seriously restrict your freedom to own, purchase and carry a firearm,” warns Chris Cox, the executive director of the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA).
It’s happening right now. The member states of the United Nations have been meeting, behind closed doors with Hillary Clinton, since July 2nd to hammer out the final details on their so-called Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), and Barack Obama has vowed to sign it on July 27th.
If you’re not worried, you should be. Cox goes on to say: “You might think that something so obviously menacing to one of our enumerated fundamental rights would receive a strong rebuke from our top government leaders. But you’d be wrong. This is President Barack Obama’s vision for America, and we’re expected to just go along with it.”
Make no mistake; your Constitutional and God-given right to keep and bear arms may forever be regulated and controlled by thugs within the United Nations.
As a matter of policy, President George W. Bush not only opposed the ATT but also proclaimed that the United States would have no involvement with the planning or implementation of the ATT. He wanted no part of this treasonous treaty.
As Bloomberg news reported, under the Bush Administration, the United States “was the only nation to oppose the 2006 resolution to create an international treaty on the sale of small arms and light weapons, and subsequent measures to continue the talks.”
But the times, they are a changing. Instead of following President Bush’s example and saying, from the get-go, that this voluntary surrender of our constitutional rights will ever see the light of day, Senate Republicans are taking more of a ‘let’s-wait-and-see-what-the-UN-comes-up-with’ approach.
And while Republicans procrastinate, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are legitimizing and actively negotiating something that is illegitimate, a treaty the United States should never be negotiating in the first place.
Make no mistake; our elected officials like to talk tough. As a matter of fact, a number of Senators penned a strongly worded letter on ATT to Barack Obama last year, and they even went so far as to say that they would “oppose ratification of an Arms Trade Treaty presented to the Senate that in any way restricts the rights of law-abiding citizens to manufacture, assemble, possess, transfer or purchase firearms, ammunition and related items.”
Don’t be lulled into complacency by the tough-sounding rhetoric. Words are cheap, and anyone who knows how the UN operates knows that its S.O.P. is deception. The ATT will, without a doubt, contain written promises and grandiose assurances, and the UN will assure far too many Senate Republicans that the ATT will in no way restrict your right to legally own a firearm.
Once the ATT is signed and ratified, our own government, under the supervision of the thugs of the United Nations, will start to “regulate” and, soon thereafter, start to “confiscate.” Don’t take our word for it. Former UN ambassador John Bolton says that the UN “is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nation states, but there is no doubt that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control.”

How is it that we, as a Nation, with our Constitution and Laws based on our Constitution, must worry abort the UN and Obama signing a law giving up our rights as citizens to the UN. What is wrong with this. I will tell you what is wrong, this should not be happening. Congress should not be allowing this. This shows what Obama is, it identifies him as a destroyer of our Country, where did he get the right to give up our rights without so much as a wimper from Congress?

But in case , it still takes 2/3 majority of congress for it to go into effect. My Question: our congress makes the laws. In case you dont know, the United States has not been a sovereign country since 1871, with the passage of “The Act” which turned our great nation into a corporation. Thats why all contracts and court cases have our names in capital letters. He also wanted to abolish the Federal REserve and print money based on Gold. The NWO and the FED REserve have also been part of the reason we have invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, Lybia, syria and probably next Iran. Its all part of a World Plan to turn the whole world in to a fedualistic facist state, with a few 1000 people at the top and the rest of us at the bottom. Of course, I think they plan to kill off millions of us , so the younger generation will never know their secrets, and they will have less resistance to their maniacol, deranged, world plan, which will never work. I think that the UN is considered the “World Government”, so that is where certain important people hang out to decide, what happens, then they spread it around the world, to individual countries. Each country then has to abide by these “laws”.
The ATT will not be ratified by the current senate. Even in 2008, the 60 Democrat members would not have voted unanimously for ratification, never mind the necessity of picking up an additional 7 votes from Republicans.
Should he win in November, Obama will use the Vienna Convention as a convenient excuse for implementation of his anti-gun agenda. And though his actions may run contrary to law, convention, the public and basic common sense, he will not be deterred until someone in power steps up to stop him. Are there any Republicans with that sort of power AND courage?
A second term for the arrogant, self-important Obama just might provide the setting for that 2nd American Revolution many have spoken of over the past several years. And you can BET it will if Obama should begin a Treaty-mandated, gun registration program. Talk about stuff hitting the fan!!
It will be interesting to see how he intends to enforce it. The Japanes would not attack the US in WWII because most Americans had guns and there were a lot more of us. 10 Million bubba boys with guns will be hard to beat with your Homeland Gestapo forces. NOTHING in the Constitution gives the federal government authority to allow the terms of a treaty to override the rights guaranteed by the Constitution. In fact, nothing in the Constitution allows treaties to override ANYTHING contained in the Constitution. HOWEVER, when dishonest, agenda driven politicians begin asserting powers they do not have AND NO ONE STOPS THEM, the Constitution no longer matters. This is how treaties have managed to trump the Constitution in the past and how Obama hopes (if re-elected) to impose the terms of the ATT on the American people, in spite of their 2nd Amendment rights. He will simply direct his corrupt Department of Justice minions to carry out his orders concerning the terms of the Treaty and DARE Republicans and the American people to stop him. And remember, he has the power to destroy/shut down gun stores; confiscate weapons ( remember what happened during Katrina) and imprison anyone who stands against him/the executive branch.
In short, as with everything else which results in the loss of liberty, it takes corrupt or cowardly politicians to initiate it and a lazy, disinterested or cowardly public to allow it to happen.
The fun will begin any time the Useless UN tries to take our guns, especially in the south.

I have never thought the United Nations (corrupt useless nations) should never supercede the sovereignty of the United States and I still feel that way. I will ignore anything the United Nations mandates as it is not a lawful entity,as far as I am concerened. I cant help what our spineless politicians are doing, but that doesnt mean I have to follow their lead. We need to throw most, if not all, of these politicians out of office and take back our country. The New World Order cannot do what we will not LET them do, no matter how man thousands of illegal , invasive, drones they have flying over the united nations. They will prove good targets for people whom shoot guns!!!

The UN does not supersede our Constitution, therefore, the signing of this treaty is null and void just like OBummer’s laws and legislations will be because of his in eligibilty as president of the US. I have read somewhere the reason they don’t impeach Obummer because of the fear of a Black Backlash…whatever!! Our Constitution and laws must account for something!
