The Egyptian government has information a diplomat at the U.S. embassy in Cairo secretly met yesterday with a senior leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, the nation’s major Islamist opposition group, WND has learned.
The topic of the meeting was the future of Egypt following the “fall” of President Hosni Mubarak, an Egyptian intelligence official told WND.
The claim comes amid charges from Cairo that the Obama administration has been encouraging the protests rocking Egypt and targeting the rule of Mubarak, a key U.S. ally in the Middle East.
The Egyptian intelligence official told WND his government has information of a meeting that took place yesterday between Issam El-Erian, a senior leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, and Frank Wisner, a former U.S. ambassador to Egypt.
The Obama administration dispatched Wisner to Egypt this past weekend to report to the State Department and White House a general sense of the situation in the embattled country.
The Egyptian intelligence official speaking to WND said the meeting took place inside the American embassy in Cairo
A spokesperson for the U.S. State Department did not immediately return a WND request for comment.
The Muslim Brotherhood seeks to spread Islam around the world, in large part using nonviolent means. Hamas and al-Qaida are violent Brotherhood offshoots.

We all know that Mubarak is certainly no democratically elected leader/president, BUT he has kept the Muslim Brotherhood at bay in Egypt. Mubarak needs to be and must be replaced, but not with the guy who never seemed able to get Iran to stop its nuclear ambitions when he was "working" for the United Nations. Obama has been too quiet but then he is unless he is dumping on Christians or pumping himself up! Yep, Old Barry and Chicago style thuggery at work again.
Honeybee. May I disagree with you about Obama being a Muslim? He does not show that in his personal life but he is able to manipulate the Muslim cause in his favor. His fingerprints, as you say, are all over this. He went to church for twenty years and that did not make him a Christian, either. There is no law that makes you love your neighbor or even your enemy yet that is a command for the Christian and there is testimony that it is practiced. There is a difference between love and indulge. Obama does not practice Muslim doctrine but he does practice Socialist doctrine.
This may be the stumbling block for him the nation has been praying for that will spill the Socialist bag of beans that has the world in its grip. To recount the facts would make this a very long post but they are there and can be found. Those fact easily go back to my grandfather's youth in the 1870s

I hope this isn't true. I have noticed that President Obama does tend to "include" the Muslim Brotherhood at various White House functions. I really would like to know WHY???? Does he have sympathetic Muslim leanings? This organization is not a friend to the United States or, for that matter, any other country. I am very upset that the President would want to "get in bed" with this radical Islamist organization. Certainly leads me to wonder where our President's allegiance lies………………

If Egypt now ejects the U.S. Embassy I would not be surprised. Our Executive Branch is out to make enemies of all who were once our friends, and make friends of those who were once our enemies. Soon our only allies will be North Korea, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Al Quida, the Muslim Brotherhood, and eventually the Taliban. This President must hate this country with a vengence. How can we not impeach a President who does not uphold his oath of office. He swore to protect the people and to uphold the Constitution. If he starts WW III, as he seems to be trying to do, then he is not protecting the people and therefore is also not upholding the Constitution because it requires him to protect the people. From what I saw on Glenn Beck yesterday, Obama is combining Islam and Marxism to destroy u.s. I wonder If his father did it that way in Kenya? Looks like Eve is playing with fate again. I was thinking in 2012 that the tribulation would start, now I'l find out in this November if it will start start this November or not?
