I spent last year in Afghanistan, visiting and talking with U.S. troops and their Afghan partners. My duties with the Army’s Rapid Equipping Force took me into every significant area where our soldiers engage the enemy. Over the course of 12 months, I covered more than 9,000 miles and talked, traveled and patrolled with troops in Kandahar, Kunar, Ghazni, Khost, Paktika, Kunduz, Balkh, Nangarhar and other provinces.
What I saw bore no resemblance to rosy official statements by U.S. military leaders about conditions on the ground.
Entering this deployment, I was sincerely hoping to learn that the claims were true: that conditions in Afghanistan were improving, that the local government and military were progressing toward self-sufficiency. I did not need to witness dramatic improvements to be reassured, but merely hoped to see evidence of positive trends, to see companies or battalions produce even minimal but sustainable progress.
Instead, I witnessed the absence of success on virtually every level.
My arrival in country in late 2010 marked the start of my fourth combat deployment, and my second in Afghanistan. A Regular Army officer in the Armor Branch, I served in Operation Desert Storm, in Afghanistan in 2005-06 and in Iraq in 2008-09. In the middle of my career, I spent eight years in the U.S. Army Reserve and held a number of civilian jobs — among them, legislative correspondent for defense and foreign affairs for Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas.

These wars started by Bush are nothing but a sham! Just like in Viet Nam. We’d get attacked by Charlie and we’d have to radio ahead to get permission to shoot back! Wow, now that’s some heavy startegy on how to win a war! Ever since, it’s gotten progressively worse. IMO, wars today are massive manipulation of the American people. In looking back at the manipulation, one can’t help but remind Americans of the Gulf of Tonkin incident. Nothing but a bunch of lies to get America into war with the North Vietnamese. My only guess as to us getting involved in Viet Nam was to provide massive profits to the Military Industrial Complex (MMI). I remember the claims in those days: ‘if we let Viet Nam fall to the Communists, it will cause a domino effect.’ Remember that little manipulation America? I’ve come to the conclusion that all wars are a racket (google war is a racket) written by a retired general.
Now, with this illegal administration in power, I wonder if and when is America going to be manipulated again into a war with Iran. Don’t fall for the fear and BS our govt is going to be spoon feeding you. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me! C’mon America, it’s past time to wake up, smell the coffee, and just accept the fact that govts manipulate, lie, connive, anything to get their agenda in motion. How many times do we have to be led around by the nose, before we finally tire of it, and speak out against the insanity of constant wars?! Our economy can’t afford any more wars (real or perceived), we have a POTUS that as far as I’m concerned, is a direct, national security threat to our country. Who knows what he’s got cooking for us in the future. When and until he comes clean and proves he’s eligible to be our POTUS, then I’m going to assume he’s a fraud and usurper of his office. In which case, he is a felon. He’s pulled the wool over our eyes America, and we MUST always keep the pressure on to bring this fraud out into the sunshine. He will not be able to withstand legal scutiny. This is the reason he won’t show his records. Criminals hide evidence, not honest, law-abiding people. So, what are you hiding Obama that you are afraid of America finding? Wouldn’t be the fact that you’re an enemy agent occupying the Oval Office illegally would it? No, that just cannot be, now could it?
The judge in Georgia succumbed to either threats or a payoff. The evidence was there but the judge refused to have it move forward. The only hope for America is to keep the heat on Obama and his eligibility issues. Must keep this fraud in the spotlight. Forget the MSM. We already know they’re in Obama’s back pocket. It’s time to be brave and stand up to this criminal in the WH.
Thank you Sheriff Joe Arpaio and your Cold Case Posse. Let’s see when your report comes out how much heat and attention this will draw toward the dictator-in-chief. Sooner or later Obama, the truth will come out! Keep hiding and shucking and jivving. You will be found out eventually! The American people will not tolerate a Marxist/Communist in our White House!
