Billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, who has been the primary source of funding for Winning Our Future, the super-PAC supporting Newt Gingrich, says the candidate is “at the end of his line.”
“It appears as though he’s at the end of his — at the end of his line,” Adelson told a Jewish leadership conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday, according to a report in the Jewish Journal. “ ‘Cause, I mean, mathematically, he can’t get anywhere near the numbers, and there’s not — unlikely there’ll be a brokered convention.”
Adelson and his family have donated more than $16 million to the Gingrich super-PAC to date, according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission, with the most recent contribution of $5.5 million coming in late February.
At the time, many speculated that it was the last cash the super-PAC would see from its largest donor, and Wednesday’s comments, coupled with Gingrich’s sinking campaign, bolster that view.
Other comments made by Adelson, though, make it seem unlikely that he’ll use his wealth to back any of the other candidates, at least for now. Adelson said of Rick Santorum, “I don’t want him running my country,” and said that Mitt Romney is “not the bold decisionmaker like Newt Gingrich is.”

Mr. Adelson, you are right all the way regarding Santorum and Romney.
Gingrich IS the only man who has the ability to be bring our country back from the great abyss. When faced with a life threatening illness you seek the most experiened and aggressive doctor available. It saddnes me deeply to know my country won’t have the best leadership available. We have been sold out by the establishment GOP snakes that are nothing more than democrats. I’m getting really tired of elites telling the majority what is good for us. This nation was founded by free thinkers who treasured liberty more than life. I think it is time we stand up and guard the legacy we have been given.
I couldn’t agree with you more. I despise and loathe ETCH A SKETCH. He has been shoved down our throats. Unfortunately I have discovered that the electorate are fools. They don’t investigate the candidates and buy the smear campaign that Mittens did on Newt. I am so sick of hearing the electability bs. Romney is just as bad as Obummer. And Santorum is another RINO became a lobbyist when he got kicked out of the Senate and is known to be a crook.
It’s a shame more of the American voters can’t see the writing on the wall. Newt is the only candidate that has the “KNOW HOW” to beat Obama, and also to bring this country back from where Obama has taken us.
I have been praying to God that somehow the people would wake up. I’m still not giving up hope, even though it seems almost impossible that the people at the convention would somehow vote for Newt.
I hope and pray he will not drop out. I know he wants to see how he’ll do in Texas. I don’t know when their primary is. STAY IN NEWT!!! I still believe in MIRACLES!!!
I am from TX. Newt has my vote, I am from Texas, cannot wait for The Day and Newt IS the best qualified but the GOP has their fix in. SAD. Waiting in Texas.

Sheldon Adelson and other like-minded men of means, who perceive the threat posed by Obama to the very survival of the United States, Israel and Western Civilization generally, need not dedicate their resources exclusively to political candidates.
There is an urgent need to take measures to urge exhaustive investigation of Obama on public agencies and officials such as Congress, state legislatures, courts (including grand juries), attorneys general, and state secretaries of state (including election officials however designated).
Private investigative efforts, beyond the inept and feckless ones to date, might make sufficient progress to encourage and advance official inquiry. In particular, definitive proof that Obama did not have the Negro father he claims could free public officials from the fear that their investigation would be labelled racist.
And further evidence that Obama was naturalized an Indonesian citizen as a child, ratifying and confirming such naturalization as an adult, would help corroborate a potentially expatriating act. Obama’s relinquishment of American citizenship, through voluntary foreign naturalization with intent to relinquish, would terminate is constitutional eligibility.
It is actually more important to get the goods on Obama than it is to extol the virtues of opposing candidates. Indeed, the only way to carry the fight to Obama is to carry the fight TO OBAMA. The RINOs made a fundamental error in refusing to launch an exhaustive congressional investigation of Obama a year ago, after the People gave them the power to do so. There is ample and just cause for investigating Obama’s false representation of his personal identity, his racial heritage, his current American citizenship, and his true allegiance (probably to the Comintern).
