Mayor Bloomberg’s latest statement over the Colorado movie theater shooting:
“No matter where you stand on the Second Amendment, no matter where you stand on guns, we have a right to hear from both of them, concretely, not just in generalities, specifically, ‘What are they going to do about guns?’”
If these so-called experts believe in what they say, let them put signs on their front lawns, front doors, windows and other areas of their home “Gun Free Zone” let them make themselves targets and stop putting society at risk with their foolishness.
An armed society is a polite society.
While these very same advocates would balk at such a suggestion as they know it would make them a target for “crime.” Lets talk about real solutions and not disarming or taking our 2nd Amendment rights away from law abiding citizens and ceding our safety over to a criminal element that would abuse us.
Let us stop making courts and prisons revolving doors for violent offenders and the constant excuse express from liberals for their rotten childhood or lack of opportunity and meet out justice to offenders that actually would cause them to think twice before perpetrating any crime!
Encourage people to be proficient in the force of arms and encourage citizens to be armed. Bring back the NRA into our schools, advocate target shooting, and other shooting sports; instead of treating citizens with these skills as some sort of pariah. Organize local shooting events for skeet, trap and small arms rifle and pistol competitions as the competitive sports they truly are. Publicize national shooting events like Camp Perry and bring back the old Creedmoor matches for long range shooting skill.
Government should stop all this running from crime and tragedy by passing laws that demand or expect citizens to cower in the corner while their lives are threatened by people that have no conscious or concept of anything other than taking from others their property or their lives as a way of life.
It is time for armed citizens to make a difference!

Bloomberg is a NY nut: More illegals gun flow in NY than the millitary in that state owns. No guns, just gun nuts, blommy is nuts. Hitller used the tactic and it worked good, real good. He could kill, torture, etc without worring except from his military who had guns. Hitler had an excellent plan, but Britain, did not think it was too good. Were the big mistake was made when the Japs hit the US Navy. Then with a combination of the US, Britain and other nations they ended his excellent plans and now he is nothing but a skelton in Russia. That movie in colorado need only one gun carrying man, one good military man, one good cop with a gun in his hostler. and that man instead of showing his grinning stupid face would be showing a dead man, yet the idiots are raving about the NRA pimps and the gun nuts. Some of the dead peoples parents , i am sure wish some gun nut was in the movie with a gun. when his gun jammed, or maybe before he would be a dead man instead of the grinning idiot photo of him in the papers. Just one old sorry ignorant gun nut could have stopped him.

The whole problem with this “Democratic” administration is they want to control us from birth to the grave. Our forefathers gave life and limb to secure our freedom from England. They wrote the constitution in a way that it would guard our rights of life liberty justice, and the pursuit of happiness. Though the Dems say it is archaic and needs to be rewritten, do not let them fool you. It has withstood the tides of time. It was based on the Ten Commandments, the Magna Carta and various other documents composed throughout the centuries, as man has always struggled against tyranny. One of the rights it ensures… THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS.. Stand up, contact your representative/congressman and let your voice be heard. Everytime the government is allowed to take an inch, we get closer to loosing our rights to protect ourselves.
Those wishing to stop all violence need also to blame alcohol, gasoline, wiring, cell phones, pipes, plastic wrap, vinegar, fertilizer, compressed air and fabric. All of these items can be used by NUTS to commit a crime! Even toothbrushes when held right in a pocket. Busy busy busy. The list is VERY long.
The U.N. Small Arms Treaty may be agreed to on July 21, 2012. The federal government and the U.N. working in concert, may possibly take your guns by force. The one thing that they may not do, and will never stop will be the manufacturing of improvised firearms. When my father was a young boy, the youth’s in his neighborhood were making zip guns. So easy, a pre teen child can do it.
You guys need to take a lesson from Kennesaw, GA.
The most pro-gun city in the United States – Kennesaw Georgia – where gun ownership is mandatory. It’s not the “Wild West” like some people predicted when it passed a mandatory gun ownership law. Kennesaw “has the lowest crime rate in Cobb County,” one of the most populace counties in Georgia. In fact, from 1982 through 2009, Kennesaw had been nearly murder free with one murder occurring in 2007. Other serious crimes are almost non-existent.
“The city of Kennesaw was selected by Family Circle magazine as one of the nation’s ‘10 best towns for families.’ The award was aimed at identifying the best communities nationally that combine big-city opportunities with suburban charm, a blend of affordable housing, good jobs, top-rated public schools, wide-open spaces, and less stress.”
In a 25-year period, New York City has had more than 15,000 murders – 2245 in 1990 alone – while Kennesaw, Georgia, had 1.
When the people have guns the criminals stay away.
