Despite numerous media outlets attempting to downplay the issue, Twitter exploded last night following the debate with new threats from Obama supporters to assassinate Mitt Romney if he defeats Obama in the presidential race.
As we reported yesterday, in addition to threats by Obama supporters to riot if Romney wins, innumerable Twitter users are also making direct death threats against Romney.
The primary reason given for Obama supporters wanting to see Romney dead is the fear that he will take away food stamps.
If the tables were turned and conservatives were making death threats against Obama in these numbers, it would be a national news story. Indeed, the mere act of hanging empty chairs from trees as a reference to Clint Eastwood’s RNC speech was hyped by the media as a deadly sign that conservatives were out to lynch black people if Obama won.
However, the major networks have remained completely silent on the disturbing trend of Obama supporters threatening to resort to violence if their candidate fails to secure a second term.

HOW MANY HAVE BEEN HUNTED DOWN AND ARRESTED? That will be the indication of whether or not “the system” cares to discharge responsibility. There are many Americans that hold the suggestion that Obama along with several others in Govt should be detained and tried for numerous crimes to include Treason. The evidence clearly suggests that many be charged, arraigned and the cases prosecuted through our legal system, but I haven’t heard about any lynch mobs assembling for such tasks just yet!
Rest assured, I believe there may be civil disturbances and unrest, regardless of the outcome, but to openly threaten either the current office holder or his arch nemesis shows how far folks are willing to go to side with the right or left. As the author mentions…if BHO had received so many alleged threats…there’d be hell to pay and the media would conduct their usual 3-Ring Circus to cover it.
It’s a good thing to have and hold deep-seated convictions, but actual death threats call for swift measures. Time will tell, but such acts if & when they become reality should be addressed with determined malice towards those that show such stupidity.

Riot? Military hauling us off to prison camps? What the hell are you smoking? Most of the Military doesn’t like Odumbo to begin with. Add the fact that we have over 2 MILLion members of the NRA who just happen to own guns plus the fact that over 20 – 30 Million more are licensed hunters who also own guns. Read your history books. Why did the Japanese NOT want to invade the US during World War 2? Their Emperor said that they would find a gun behind every blade of grass. People don’t want to riot in this country but, they are getting tired of ‘BIG BROTHER’ walking all over us and cramming crap that isn’t pertinent down our throats. Remember…they work for us. Not –we work for them.
Obama`s election is going down in flames. The only way he will be able to stay in the White House is by massive voter fraud or if Romney is assssinated. This traitor will do anything to stay president.
I am disabled and had my food stamps reduced from $94 a month down to $20. Do you see me threatening the [sic] president because of this. I have checked and it was a federal cutback. I requested a hearing and will fight the right way. Legally.
But IF I find out that Obama was not qualified to be in the position of President, for all the damage he has done to this country, then YES, I would have no problem hanging the traitor from a high tree. Or gutting him out.
Why aren’t these animals behind bars. Romney is a presidental candidate and will be the next president. Round them up and put them in jail where they belong.
Romney made a mistake when he picked Ryan as his running mate. Most would be just as happy, if not happier, with Ryan as Prez.
On the other hand, by that same logic:
Obama got the best life insurance available when he picked Biden as his replacement.

18 USC § 879 – Threats against former Presidents and certain other persons, states: “(a) Whoever knowingly and willfully threatens to kill, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm upon—
(1) a former President or a member of the immediate family of a former President;
(2) a member of the immediate family of the President, the President-elect, the Vice President, or the Vice President-elect;
(3) a major candidate for the office of President or Vice President, or a member of the immediate family of such candidate; or
(4) a person protected by the Secret Service under section 3056 (a)(6);
shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.
(b) As used in this section—
(1) the term “immediate family” means—
(A) with respect to subsection (a)(1) of this section, the wife of a former President during his lifetime, the widow of a former President until her death or remarriage, and minor children of a former President until they reach sixteen years of age; and
(B) with respect to subsection (a)(2) and (a)(3) of this section, a person to whom the President, President-elect, Vice President, Vice President-elect, or major candidate for the office of President or Vice President—
(i) is related by blood, marriage, or adoption; or
(ii) stands in loco parentis;
(2) the term “major candidate for the office of President or Vice President” means a candidate referred to in subsection (a)(7) of section 3056 of this title; and
(3) the terms “President-elect” and “Vice President-elect” have the meanings given those terms in section 871 (b) of this title.”
Now, the question is whether or not the Secret Service, Dept of Treasury, CIA, FBI or DOJ are actually going to do anything…… likely not because they are all led by left-wing liberals and will say, “Oh it was said in a moment of passion.” thereby reducing such threats to mere emotional outbursts.
Mitt will not be slowed down by people such as the “TERRORISTS” making these threats..
As a matter of fact.. Mitt Romney will simply smile at this trouble..
