Hearing him at CPAC only confirmed something I have thought for a while. Rand Paul is the only VP pick which will unite the Republican Party behind any of the current front runners should his Dad, Ron Paul not win the nomination. What do you think?

What Rand Paul says in this video is so true. He beckons the American people to think of the many reasons why America is great. I say “is” great, but we have a minority of people on both sides of the isle that we need to replace in the coming elections.
I believe Ron Paul has adopted many of the things his son Rand has spoken of in the video, but unlike Rand, Ron Paul does not communicate himself very well and some of his foreign aid stances are not in line with most conservative adults thinking in America.
If Rand Paul were running for President of the United States in 2012, I would surely vote for him. He has a good balance of what the American people want in a president, in my opinion.
It seems to me that both Pauls would lead in the same direction. While some of the domestic policies might be helpful, the foregn policy would be a complete disaster. For that reason, I think we need a ticket more along the lines of Santorrum-Rubio for this November’s election to thet Presidency-VP positions. We need a Republican ticket that can definitely beat Obama and that should meet the requirement.
