Nothing but union thuggery! He doesn’t deserve to be in Congress! Typical, Commie/Democrat!
To me this guy is giving the unions a pass on violence. What other laws have been passed that incite people and then the government inciting their base. This man should have said the people have spoken and we need to abide by it, or have peaceful demonstrations. He was probably one that condemned the tea party rallies and embraced Occupy Wall Street.
When I was l6 and working at a large chain grocery store, I was told I had to give to United Appeals and I was just going to leave that night without pledging. However, they locked the front door and I was forced to give and I made up my mind then I would never give to United Appeals ever again. They didn’t have laws to protect me back then or if they did I did not know about them. I later worked for the City of Columbus and they were forming a union and I asked what would happen if I did not join as I had worked there for l0 years and was considered a very good employee. I thought we were treated very fairly, our wages were on scale and maybe a little bit above what most of my friends made in the private sector doing the same secretarial jobs and my benefits were outstanding. So why would I want to join a union.
I was told that if I didn’t join, the dues would still be taken out of my paycheck. I decided then and there to quit. Also my grandson at age 14 worked for a large chain store, and at l4 you are only allowed to work limited hours, but he had to pay his union dues which outraged me but he wanted the job so badly to have money in his pocket. This should never have been allowed on someone that young. Everyone should have the free choice. I heard about all the electrical workers who came from the south to help in New Jersey after Sandy and they were turned away. Unions have become thugs.
My grand mother, a very wise woman, told me about unions years ago. She said that unions are the reason why costs were going up. Yet we have absolute fools who erroneously believe that unions are crucial to their benefit. If you go to work each day and do the job you accepted and were hired to do, you have no need for unions. Unions are what democracy is all about – MOB RULE. Folks on the left don’t get that….wait a minute. Maybe they do?
Democracy is another semantics game that’s needs to take a hike when describing America. We are a Constitutional Republic aka RULE OF LAW. BO has not lived up to any of it, refuses to enforce the constitutional laws he swore under oath to uphold and CONgress goes out of session happily along singing a song as they flip us the bird in our faces. Where’s the outrage?
