I’ve been a professional speaker for more than 40 years. Here is my analysis:
George Bush’s speaking weakness was in he fact that he ended most sentences as a question.
Called “up-speaking”. Obama ends his sentences “down-speaking” his voice goes down. This is much more effective in convincing an audience!
Listen carefully to their speeches and you will hear the differences.
