In today’s Washington Post, Ralph Reed states:
Look, if the Supreme Court does with marriage what it did on abortion, which is to impose the laws of New York and Massachusetts and impose them on the rest of the country by judicial fiat, it will make this issue more divisive and contentious, not less so.
Reed makes the often-made mistake by conservatives of assigning powers to the Supreme Court that it doesn’t possess.
The Supreme Court didn’t “impose” any laws on any states since the judiciary possesses no lawmaking powers. Individual sovereign states merely treated a toothless, unconstitutional, immoral court opinion as if it were actual law. In other words, individual sovereign states ceded lawmaking power and authority to the court, which the court never possessed in the first place. (As Romney did when he falsely asserted the court forced him to sign into law $50 co-pay abortions and pass out marriage licenses to same-sex couples in Massachusetts).
This is what I believe Christian and conservative leaders should be proactively saying now in anticipation of the Court’s likely ruling that barring same-sex “marriage” is unconstitutional:
If the Supreme Court rules the exclusivity of male-female marriage to be unconstitutional, they will have issued an anti-Constitutional, illegal, immoral, and legally null and void administrative opinion (as Roe v Wade was) that each individual sovereign state has the Constitutional and moral obligation to ignore since any law or court opinion contrary to God’s Divinely Revealed Law is no law at all and since the judiciary possesses no lawmaking authority. As President Lincoln once famously said, ‘..if the policy of the government, upon vital questions, affecting the whole people, is to be irrevocably fixed by decisions of the Supreme Court, the instant they are made, in ordinary litigation between parties, in personal actions, the people will have ceased, to be their own rulers, having, to that extent, practically resigned their government, into the hands of that eminent tribunal.’ May that not be the case in our nation.
When conservatives perpetuate toxic liberal lies by ceding their illogical, specious, and faulty premises and pre-suppositions (in this case that court opinions become the “law of the land” the moment they are issued), we always lose…

You are right, God destroyed Sodom and Gamorrah because of sodomy(homosexuality and so-called same sex marriage). There’s no such thing as same-sex marriage. Same-sex marriage is a perversion; abonormal and immoral, destructive lifestyle. It will bring the wrath of God onto America if it already hasn’t.
Since the beginning of time, marriage has been a relationship of man and woman, brought together to create an environment for raising children. Some of those couples could not bring forth children so they maintained either a childless marriage and some adopted children. Now some people who don’t wish to have a man plus woman relationship so they shacked together either man plus man or woman plus woman. They wish to have a marriage but can’t because they don’t fit the definition. They still can have a marriage, no one is preventing it. Either follow the definition of marriage or forget it. Call it something else but it is not marriage but is a perversion. Face up to the facts.
Here are two excellent books that will enlighten you: David Kupelian writes “The Marketing of Evil” and “How Evil Works”. I have read them 3 times already. He talks about how the media brainwashes the public to accept evil.
Personally I think I will let God sit in judgement when the time comes. As long as these relationships are between 2 consenting adults than we should all let God be the judge. You don’t agree with gay marriage than don’t have one but don’t sit in judgement of others instead you should be worried about your own sins that you will have to answer for before God.

Hey christians, really fight for your convictions! Since marriage is so sacred I think it’s time you started pushing for the death penalty for Adultery. You may not have read all 10 commandments (it is quite long) but I’m pretty sure those supersede a few random passages about homosexuality. So please join me in in pushing for a law requiring stoning of all adulterers. In just a few short years the world will be thankfully free of all the hypocrites and the rest of us can get on with living our lives in real freedom.
You sound like you are on the offensive and hoping to score a few points under the guise of Adultery VS. Homosexuality. The Big 10 Commandments were & are GODS Ultimate Laws for his Creation. We Gentiles are under GODS period of Grace (We should be Thankful). You are Loosely attempting to use the Word of GOD to disguise SIN both are Sexual Sin which requires Both (Parties) to repent and turn away from that SIN. One is not greater than the other, Sexual Sin is against your own body as our bodies are the Temple for GOD (IF we are GODS). I hope you good in your life. Sexual sin and UNBELIEF is one of the Sins in revelations 21:8 that will Condemn people to the second death, you do not want to be in that class of people.
