At what point will the public tire of liberal journalists lamenting that the Republican Party is overwhelmingly white and thrilled about it? They’ve been drawing that cartoon so long surely they’ll eventually run out of ink. They love their 2012 narrative that every non-white group is rushing to Obama and the Left, and they want to keep it that way.
So what do you do when the GOP elects or nominates a black, or Hispanic (as they’ve done constantly)? You rip them personally, mercilessly. Ask Justice Thomas.
This is why everyone should have expected something absurd from the media when Sen. Marco Rubio was picked to give the response to President Obama’s State of the Union address. But this year perhaps they went too far. They made utter, complete fools — of themselves.
Few happenings in politics have been more overhyped than Sen. Marco Rubio taking a swig of water in mid-response, and few reporters have looked more ridiculous on that trivial subject than CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “So can a drink of water make or break a political career? U.S. Senator, possible presidential candidate. We’re going to find out, whether he likes it or not.”
On screen were the words “CAREER ENDER?” The befuddled masses at CNN tried to claim they were joking, but you never send personality-challenged Wolf Blitzer on a comedy mission.

I see no reason for the GOP to survive–or the Democrats either. The GOP use to be (or at least claim to be)the party of limited government–in other words, a party that supported the Constitution. It hasn’t actually done that for numerous decades, but now actively marginalizes and plays dirty politics against all conservatives and all Americans who do support the Constitution.
It is evident there are no longer two parties. There is just one party with two parts masquerading as different groups in order to ensnare the largest group of voters possible. The GOP has actually declared it doesn’t support the Constitution by re-imaging themselves as the party that supports illegals, amnesty for illegals, social justice rather than justice and diversity rather than American patriotism. For evidence of their lack of constitutional support, notice how many times they throw out Rubio’s name as a potential presidential candidate and ‘conservative’ Republican. Rubio is no conservative. He signed the NDAA eliminating the 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 13th Amendment rights of citizens and he constantly manuevers to find ways to bring immigration reform and amnesty to illegals. He wants more diversity; less Americans.
Marco Rubio is NOT ELIGIBLE to become President or Vice-President of the United States. He is NOT a natural born Citizens. All those who keep his name in the news as the up and coming GOP star are those who ignore the Constitution, ignore the American people and will do anything to increase wealth and power. If Rubio, himself, supported the Constitution, he wouldn’t have signed the NDAA, he wouldn’t keep pushing for Immigration Reform until the borders are completely controlled and current immigration laws 100% enforced for a period of time, and he would state categorically that he is not eligible for the presidency. The fact that he doesn’t declare his ineligibility just shows that he believes if he has enough GOP support he will become an ineligible usurper–just like Obama.
RIP, GOP. We won’t be sorry to see you go.
Rubio is qualified to run for the presidency…being born in the united states he is a natural citizen..his parents were born in cuba…not him..he was born in florida
If they can make an issue of Rubio drinking some water during his speech…. over and over and over and over laughing till their sides split…. why hasn’t anyone said anything .. and I mean ANYONE ever said ANYTHING about Obama and his ‘GAY’ness and the men he’s been with getting BJ’s from them… Not one person on the News.. not even FOX news… ever mentioned the Larry Sinclair book nor of Obama’s cocaine use…. WHY?
