As those in our great Nation woke up on Wednesday morning, we scratched our heads in disbelief as to what happened in the election. We thought every base was covered. Romney did well in the debates, he was hosting huge crowds of supporters, and his polling numbers were either tied or exceeded Obama’s. So what happened then? It was Divine Intervention.
My fellow Americans: as our nation has turned it’s back on God, advocated for gay marriage and sodomy, continuously kills God’s unborn children through abortion, and turns our back on Israel, God has decided that he would honor our prayers to guide this election. God will not be mocked.
Just as our earthly father could impose a punishment by saying something to the effect of: “wake up my children; this is going to hurt.” Although we are chastised, we still love our father and will always seek Him out for His protection and guidance.
God has a plan here that many may not understand, but those who do will find comfort and peace in the outcome of the election. As many of us have stood for over 4 years against the evil of the Obama regime and for the protection of the US Constitution, we were not fully prepared. We had not fully rededicated our lives to God and were still hanging onto our love of earthly possessions even when God has promised us treasure in Heaven. If we truly engaged in putting God first, the outcome may have been different.
God’s plan at this point, I believe, is to draw His people back to Himself and reunite His church. As our founders said 230 years ago, the way to end poverty is to make people uncomfortable in it. The Obama regime will bankrupt our nation and place us all into poverty. Once this happens, more of God’s people will be crying out to him and will be humbled. God’s people will help one another through these times as well as helping the lost souls.
Those who have rejected God will gloat in their pride and envy for their accomplishments in winning this election and thus will be rejected by God.Rich men will seek His face, and He will not answer as the chance of a rich man getting to heaven is like trying to pass a camel through the eye of a needle. The master plan here is for a nationwide revival. God will reset our priorities, the most important of which will be putting HIM first in our lives once again; and then he will send us back into the battlefield to protect and defend our divinely-inspired founding documents.
We are in for some very tough times ahead, but keep your eyes on God as you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. As always, my fellow Christian Patriots, stay safe and be aware of your surroundings.

It’s Not just about this country’s Failure to Honor God, but many reasons. 1) Gods Prophecy had to be Fulfilled. 2) This Country HAD to be Out of the way for the Armies of the World to come against Israel, and 3) there had to be a Great Falling Away from the Faith before the Lord would return. 4) The ANTI-Christ had to come to Power (Adolf Obama).

I agree Vector.. It is god’s plan! Anyone with even rudimentary knowledge of Bible prophecy knows the end will come. Certain events must take place. We as people are too arrogant to believe that it can happen in our time. I see no reason why now is any less a proper time than 100 or 1000 yrs from now. It will happen when God sees fit. Considering our recent history(abortions adding up to millions of deaths of the innocent, allowing ,no celebrating homosexuality; even in our churches) the list goes on and on. Is it any wonder why God would not decide to hold off the end times for a later time. When we spit in the face of your Creator we have no standing to question His timing on the judgement to come!! I am afraid your rudimentary knowledge of the Bible does you in — you have been caught up and left behind in an understanding of prophecy. The end times spoken of in the Bible was the end of the age, the end of Roman rule and law, the end of the old way of doing things. With Christ came a new kingdom — His — the Kingdom of the Church — a new way of doing things where man would be ruled by God within: self-government, upon which the success of our nation and laws rest.
If the world must be in shambles for Christ to come again, wouldn’t it be more “God-serving” for us to help in making things a mess? Wouldn’t that help His quick return — something for which we long?
But doesn’t that then mean that Christ’s sacrifice must be just mediocre? Did he only come to save souls but not nations or the earth? Is He limited to human salvation only with no impact on civil government?

Our government is so vile,corrupt,greedy,selfish and Godless that’s the type of people it gathers. I am not at all surprised it turned out this way, you see it everywhere you turn. The most revolting things are on in prime time when children of all ages are watching.

In fact, in the days preceding the election, I was praying, & asking God, if it was possible, to give America one more chance, but if not possible, then to give me the grace & strength to stand in whatever happens. God isn’t going to just overlook the murder of unborns, nor the acceptance of homosexuality as ‘normal’, nor any of the other sins He detests. Just like the Israelis were dispersed completely from their land, & have suffered for centuries, America is going to reap what she has sown. But, I DO know that I can trust Him to take care of me. In fact, His Spirit has already been moving awesomely in our services. So He is definitely in control!

Nothing like losing one of the most important if not THE most important election in American history to bring out a lot of wanna be preachers and Bible teachers in this forum. While I agree with the op-ed author on all his points, some of the stuff that’s coming out on these pages is hateful and blasphemous. The hatred being expressed toward Romney in the context of his faith is hardly in keeping with Christian charity delivered with gentleness and respect. While it is acknowledged that Romney’s faith, the Mormon faith, is that of a religious cult, we were not electing a pastor, we were electing a president. There have been other presidents in our history who were not Christian. There is nothing in our Constitution that demands a religious litmus test be administered to presidential candidates or for lesser officials. That sort of accusatory thinking should be put to bed and renounced as having nothing to do with the disappointing loss.
I’ve no doubt that America will suffer God’s judgement and may be experiencing it now for its manifest sins. This is a nation that was the recipient of God’s providential hand of protection, grace and wisdom in order that it might be founded and preserved for free peoples from the four corners of the earth with a government and a governing document that was unique in the history of mankind. America was in the beginning a church relocation project for those Christian pilgrims who were being persecuted by the English crown. General/President Washington consecrated America to God in little St. Paul’s chapel in New York immediately following his inauguration as the First President of the 13 United States when he gathered with members of Congress in that small chapel for a 4 hour long prayer session.
St. Paul’s chapel stands today unscathed as testimony to God’s covenant with America as long as we remained true to His Word even though it was well within the envelope of destruction suffered by the World Trade Center Towers on 911 that stood but a few hundred yards away. The Sycamore tree that stood nearby was cut down by falling debris and eventually replaced with a Cedar tree (Isaiah 9:10). Like ancient Israel we have turned our backs on God and we will suffer His judgement if we do not soon, very soon, return to Him, as the author so eloquently explained. I seriously doubt it will happen until we are brought to our knees but by then it will be too late. We will have to suffer through to the end. I believe we’re seeing some of His judgement unfolding with 911, Katrina and Sandy. It is quite possible that Obama is himself an instrument of God’s wrath being poured out on America.
I doubt we’ve seen anything at this stage with the worst yet to come lest we soon act in accordance with II Chronicles 7:14. I’m also of the opinion that we should change the wording of the lyrical hymn/prayer “God Bless America” to “God have mercy on America” or “God forgive America.”

When England, Holland, Germany and other European countries forsook God when they were the center of Christianity, they were reduced to something other than world powers So I believe it is our turn BUT: from there it is to be different in my thinking….this is the last days before the Rapture of Gods Children….I believe it will happen in a very few short years, not 10 or 20 years. Our country is truly confused and misguided in what direction to take. The Republicans failed this country miserably. They once again placed faith in a person that does not understand what America needs. In fact they placed their faith in someone that has no idea what normal people do in this country. Mr Romney is so far removed from normal mainstream society that he had no idea on which direction to lead this country. The Republican party has no idea on what direction to lead this country. May I suggest a couple of hints.
If you want this to be a Godly country then promote and elect Godly Men and Women to lead us. If you want to preserve the Constitution then promote and elect Men and Women that believe and understand the Constitution as it was framed. If you want to be Free Men and Women then promote and elect Men and Women in this country that believe in and live for Freedom.
Focus your attention on first yourself and what you do and how you do for your community. Support Men and Women in this Nation that stand for and practice the same values that you have.. The Democratic and Republican parties have supported and promoted corruption, lies, confusion, scare tactics, and self serving Men and Women throughout this Nation. Yet everyone is shocked at the outcome.
Why did this Nation turn to socialism so strongly? Probably because they were the only ones that were giving any answers that made since. Probably because the Republican party promotes self serving hypocrites that are not interested in anything except lining their own pockets with prideful memories and our money.
We are a Nation of diverse people. We as a nation do not serve one God. In fact our Constitution demands that we allow all people to serve the God of their choice. In fact our Constitution demands that the government not interfere with what we say, how many guns or ammo we own, or who we worship. When did it become the Governments responsibility to punish or deny or approve of what people believe in or do in their personal lives. We tax people because they smoke or drink or drive the wrong car or live in the wrong place or were too successful. What is wrong with this picture. We persecute people because of what they believe in or what they do or where they live or even who they live with. When did this become Governments job.
Perhaps we should start promoting Men and Women of this Nation to lead us because they value our lives as well as their own. Because they believe in Freedom of choice by the people and not the Government. Because they see themselves as people that will help us decide as a Nation what is best for us to do and not try to enforce their beliefs upon an entire Nation.
Perhaps we need to spend the next 4 years finding these Men and Women that actually care about America and the people that live here. Bring them up to the plate and get them to lead us as one Nation. Find those Men and Women that truly want to lead Us as a Nation in the same manner that they lead their selves and families and communities.
We as a Nation have completely and utterly lost our way. Let everyone help us to find those Men and Women that can truly help us find our way back to the Great American Nation we have always been and can once again be.
I have lost faith in both the Democratic and Republican Parties. I have voted the party line for the last time. I now seek the true citizens of this Nation that can, will, and desire to lead us back to the Great Nation we have always been. If you have found a group of Men and Women with these ideals then please, point me in the right direction.

I agree with what Tim Powers states in this article… but for one thing. God has given each one of us a free will, and it was people’s free will to choose the present president. Big mistake that it was… God permits us our free will…. and God permits us the consequences as well!! God does not will evil, but sometimes permits it. Nothing happens without His permission. God help our country. Love one another.
That is a very accurate statement. God ALLOWS Evil when his people make the wrong choice. He does this so that we will be brought back to him self with a better understanding of what we did wrong.
The Bible says God knows the End from the Beginning. He has already said what will happen in his Porphecy. However, he allows bad things to come our way to bring about Righteous change in us.
He could do something to stop what will happen, but he gives specific guidelines as to what has to happen for him to get involved. And clearly, America has not met his guidelines for the Bad to be put off yet.
