I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Chief Justice John Roberts for assisting the Obama regime in placing another nail in America’s coffin. Not only did he agree with the liberal communists; he gave them an out by stating that the individual mandate was a TAX rather than something that could be controlled through the commerce clause. The Obama regime had stated from the onset of this Constitution-killing legislation that the mandate was not a tax.
All this was ompounded by the fact that Justice Elena Kagen was Obama’s solicitor general (and while working in that capacity was working on a defense for the Constitutionality of Obamacare.) Ultimately, Kagen refused to recuse herself from the proceedings, and Roberts never pressed the issue.
Then we have Justice Roberts’ refusal to hear anything regarding Obama’s eligibility to be President, as characterized by a comment made by Justice Thomas stating that they were avoiding that issue.
Chief Justice Roberts and the majority of the Supreme Court have sold out the American people and have ultimately set fire to the US Constitution. They are nothing more than the latest group of spineless cowards to cave in to the Obama regime. Thank you again, Chief Justice Roberts; you helped America die just a little bit more today. My fellow Americans, please stay safe and always be aware of your surroundings. It’s gonna get dicey from here.

As for the Supreme Court Judges, We should be firing the four that sold us out. If Romney gets in I will expect him to do just that.

The Constitution states that “The Judges both the Supreme and Inferior Court shall hold their office During good Behaviour”, no “life-time” is mentioned.
“During good Behaviour: rendered in Latin, “ quam diu se bene gesserit”, means that judges were to hold office until they either died or are convicted of an “ Impeachable offence”.
An “Impeachment offence” applies to the President, Vice President, Judicial and executive officers, but not to members of Congress. This procedure required a finding that the officer had been guilty of “Treason, Bribery or other high crimes and Misdemeanors”.
(We can find many in our Government right now that are guilty of Treason & Bribery according to law books of the day, such as William Petyt’s “Jus Parliamentarium” (1740), Blackstone’s “Commentaries” (1765), a treatise of unknown origin “Parliamentary Impeachments” (1788).
The meaning of High Crimes and Misdemeanors lies in a history well known to the founders. During the period of English history leading up to the American Revolution, the phrase “High Misdemeanors” had become a term of art meaning “Breach of Fiduciary Duty”, or in the language of our time, “Breach of Public Trust”. In other words, if an offence were outside of the laws of God, or outside of the laws of the land, which started with the Articles of Confederation and ended with our Constitution, it would be an Impeachable offence.
There is a long history of our Court system ruling against the Constitution as our founders wrote it. They interpret the Constitution wrong because they either do it deliberately and intentionally change it to fit their needs or they don’t know any better.

I was just as stunned as you were, but given some time to reflect, Obamacare was UNCOVERED AS A TAX, by Roberts so for even the liberals majority of liberals making under $200K would be fore warned that this “Affordable Healthcare” was a lie from its inception and that their pockets are going to be picked further by liberal thieves. Only a fool would ask for more taxes for Obama to waste their child’s food money on more failed government investment. Yes there are many fools who still haven’t recovered from their mushrooms. Only people imbedded in Pelosi’s behind, would paraphrase that famous line from Animal House, “Thank you sir, may I have another tax!”.

Everyone I know is down on Roberts for his Obama-care decision. I was too for several hours until I had time to cool off and actually get my emotions out of my thought process. Lets look at what really happened here, and by that, I mean lets look at the underlying thoughts that Roberts may have had, but see what he actually did to the political process.
First, I believe that Roberts saw an opportunity to throw this faulty legislation back into the lap of the people who keep kicking stuff down the road hoping that the Supreme Court will finally make the decision for them. By this, I mean Congress. For a long time Congress has been passing stuff that they have not read, passing stuff that is completely un-constitutional, passing stuff that has hindered Americans and American business. They have not addressed politically appointed people’s actions as well as problems that are causing the degradation of the U.S.A. This Obama-care decision gave Roberts the opportunity to give a special piece of legislation, that contains political issues rather than legal issues, back to Congress and make them make a decision, maybe actually do their job and vote the will of their constituents. (Rasmussen reports 67% of Americans are against Obama-care) Remember that this bill was not passed by a large by-partisan majority as advertised by the administration. Only one Republican in the entire Congress (Senate and House) voted for it. If the RINO progressive Olympia Snow had not voted for this bill in committee, it would have never even left the committee much less come up for a vote. It passed the Senate by a vote of 60-39 with all but one Republican voting against It. Okay, since one Republican voted for it, I suppose it can be called by-partisan in the Senate. The House passed it by a 219-212 margin with all 178 Republicans voting against it. No by-partisanship in the House. In 2011 the House went Republican, but did they hold a repeal vote as they promised during their campaigns? Nope, just kicked Obama-care down the road and let the states take it to the Supreme Court. Are you starting to see Robert’s possible agenda?
Second, If the House votes on the repeal of Obama-care on July 9th, as has been reported, it will do several things. The Republican majority in the House should easily win a vote to repeal. Any person who votes against the repeal will be exposing themselves to defeat in the November elections. Then it goes to the Senate. I believe that Reid will postpone it and not bring it up for a vote. Here is a chance for all conservative Republicans to get on every TV show that they can and berate Reid for not voting. If Reid does allow the vote (unlikely), then, again, every one who votes against the repeal will be exposed to defeat in November. We need to FLOOD the Progressive Mitch McConnell’s office with faxes telling him to bring this up for a vote, no matter how mad it makes Reid. McConnell has only 6 months to put up with Reid (hopefully) and if McConnell does not bring this up for a vote, he is, and should be, toast and not even be considered for any leadership position in the Senate. To cement this, you should attend every political rally for your senator and specifically ask them if they will vote to put McConnell in the leadership position if he will not call for a vote and Republicans get the Senate. If they will not give you a straight answer, tell them you will not vote for them…flood their offices with faxes asking this question and stating that If McConnell will not call for a vote and your senator tells you he will back him for the leadership, tell your senator that he just lost your vote since McConnell has shown he does not have the stomach to handle the job.
Sidebar- If the Members of the Senate were appointed by the States, as the Founders wrote in the Constitution and the 17th amendment had not been passed, the Senate would vote Obama-care down since it is not good for the State, much less the citizens of the state(s). End sidebar
Okay, so if the repeal were to accidentally pass in the Senate and it went to the desk, Obama would veto it, thereby cementing his defeat.
When you look at Robert’s decision from this viewpoint, it appears that Roberts was not so stupid after all. He may have actually saved us from this 2,700 page monstrosity as well as secured an Obama defeat and a Republican controlled Senate.

McConnel may at times be a little RINOish, but he has been spot on in the WHOLE process of D-Rat felonious manipulations to make ObamaNOcare eat US all alive. Also as the minority leader, he can’t bring ANYTHING up in Hairy Reed’s D-Rat infested majority in the Senate. O.kingrat’s firewall against his Alyskyite Annihilate America Agenda.
The one thing left out is the fact that we have generations of people who have never been educated in civics and how our government really works. We still have people here in Palm Beach County who think Bush stole the election in 2000 by having the Supreme Court do what they did because they do not know what the constitution states about elections and the fact that Florida would have not been included if the Supreme Court had not done what they did which was constitional. Those votes needed to be sent in certified by the state by 12/12/2000 or the votes did not count at all. And Gore would have been President which I thank God for the Supreme Court then but after so many years people still claiming Bush stole the election tells me we have a lot of ignorant people on the constitution and how our government really works. The people need to be educated on the constitution because not all are as of yet.
It was a brilliant chess move by Roberts. If you can’t see the strategy involved then save yourselves the embarrassment and keep quiet until you understand how it going to play out.

It IS common law knowledge that all tax bills must originate in Congress. Says so point blank in Our Conststution.
Article I, Section 7, Paragraph 1 says, “All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives”. Well, as you will recall, when the concurrent bill failed, the Senate pulled out a prior bill and “deemed it passed”. That bill originated in the Senate! It is an unconstitutionally passed tax law! Watch for the lawsuits to fly!

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party. Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 &2011.
In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.
For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.
And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.
If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.
If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is “I inherited a deficit that I voted for, and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.”
Maybe Robert’s did what he did to get Romney elected.
These judges need to start doing their jobs properly. I was shocked to discover some disgusting photographs of Barack Obama’s mother. She was naked, in full porno sex poses and laughing. And judges are prepared to put their reputations on the line for this kind of trash. President or not, to see the mother of the president of America in full frontal sex poses is a sight to behold. I may be wrong but this could be the greatest tactical move to end the reign of terror that anyone could have made. By making it a tax Barry is now exposed as the largest tax and spend POTUS in history. It proves him to be the biggest liar on earth and also protected the commerce clause from further abuse. It also now makes Obamacare repeal-able by just 50 senate votes and the VP voting in favor of repeal or 51 senator votes. He also protected the states from the penalties for non-medicaid expansion. Everything you have pointed out is spot on. However, one still must ask the question of who does this man think that he is to roll the dice that can drastically effect the rights of the people to govern their own lives?
Then one must question why did he side against 75% of the people, and a majority of the States in the AZ Ruling. as well?
There is no body of government granted a higher power than “We the People”, and if he was actually seeking to interpret the law rather than the Constitution there is no way to justify his actions in either ruling.
It may serve as a factor in November, but what happens if the fix is already in, and the real tactical maneuver was extorting the Chief Justice of the highest court in the land? No Congress, No Court, No Hope to salvage the Republic.

Justice Roberts ruled that, contrary to the assertions of Obama, Obamacare is a tax. Obamacare was passed by the Democratic Senate. The Senate does not have the authority to make tax laws. Only the House of Representatives has that authority.
Roberts may have just given us the opportunity to have Obamacare declared invalid.

Lifetime tenure for Judges needs to be changed immediately. That is way to much power and influence for one person. It should be done on a yearly basis, so that a lot more qualified persons get to work on the constitutionality of laws written and all that. If you had only 1 year to work as SCOTUS judge, you would work extra hard to get things done. It is an honor to be a SCOTUS judge, but that honor should be shared by many more Americans.

When Roberts was appointed, everyone expected he would help to tilt the Court to the conservative right by siding with Scalia on the pertinent issues of the day. It is a tragedy that he has helped the Court to work against the best interests of the electorate instead. This past year we have seen two such outrageous decisions, the first one having been when the Court ruled that patients may no longer sue vaccine manufacturers when their toxoc products maim or kill our citizens, despite the fact that commonly used public venues such as schools and nursing facilities require their use to begin with. Why would they rule twice in one year against protecting the public health? Both they and the infamous FDA have therefore become useless to the furtherance of protection needed b y the American people. That is a shame and cause for deep alarm. Im 70 years old and nearing the end of my lifetime and I dont Know how this so-called law effects me as I use the VA for my health care. But I do know that if you make $18700. per year and donot have one of the insurance plans the goverment will fine, sorry tax you , $2100.00 per household member not covered by one of the goverment plans. This is extorsion clear and simple and if we cant vote them out then I am willing and ready to defend this country any way I can. Please Vote Vote Vote.

The 13th Amendment forbids slavery and involuntary servitude. By allowing the force of government to subject all Americans to be in servitude to the insurance companies or pay a fine/tax is no less than involuntary servitude and is therefore treason.

In the first place, the Supreme Court has NO lawful “power” to decide whether something is “Constitutional” or NOT. Only a properly formed and informed Grand Jury of the People can make such a determination. the Supreme Court CANNOT. The Supreme Court USURPED that POWER in 1803 after ruling on the oft cited “Marbury vrs Madison” case. Justice John Marshall seized an opportunity to steal that “power” from the People The Constitution was created for and by the people; would it make sense to allow.the creation (the Constitution) its own creation to determine what was valid under itself or the creators, the People themselves, to maintain that prerogative. The Supreme had not the “lawful” “power” to grant themselves jurisdiction to determine what is “Constitutional”, what is “lawful”. A court, any court including the Supreme Court, cannot rule on its own jurisdiction; that must be done by a higher court, in the case of the Supreme Court, that of a properly formed and informed Civil Grand Jury of the People. In matters Constitution, the Supreme Court should recuse itself and refer the matter to the “highest court”, the People.
Interestingly, the original 13th Amendment should have precluded lawyers/attorneys from occupying governmental offices, those offices, and spared the People much despair.

I think that,for whatever his motivation, he rewrote the law instead of judging the constitutionality of the law. I think that he and the 4 conservative judges found the law unconstitutional, as written. By rewriting the law with the mandate regarded as a tax will likely help elect Romney in Nov but it still leaves me with the question of whether we have a court of 5 justices who are conservative and will judge the law on the merits, as written, as to whether it passes the test of constitutionality. As he said, it’s not their job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices. The more liberal/democrat people we vote into office, the more we will see them erode the constitution and destroy America.

I am not sure if I agree with this article and come down on Chief Justice Roberts. What I see from this decision is that Justice Roberts has just thrown this back at the Obama Administration, the Democrates and Congresses faces. The “FINES” have now been declared a “TAX”, which this President and the Democrates swore from the getgo they was not. The American people will not stand for taxes of this magnitude, when this country is in such dire financial and economic shape. If the decision had been a 5/4 against the law, the Obama campaign would have railed and rant against the Supreme Court as having been an activest court saying “for the first time in 100 years we gave you healthcare, but four rich white, and one Uncle Tom Republicans took it away, but they still have their healthcare.” Also taken off the table the Presidents campaign against the healthcare debacle in Massachusetts which Mitt Romney signed into law. Of course the Democratic Governor and legislature over the years since it was enacted have so mutated the original legislature that it is not the same bill Mitt Romney submitted The decision was not totally a slam dunk for the Democrates, it allows the states to opt out of the Medicaid requirement and Washington can not penalize them by withholding existing Medicaid money. YET, it has given the Republicans a huge issue to run on, the repeal of this legislation, and vote out this President. Those who voted for it the last time around I would say will disinclined to impose huge new taxes on their constitutents, for want of loosing their Congressional seats.
