Written by Texas representative Lyle Larson, the Texas Liberty Preservation Act says that “…Texas shall not provide material support or participate in any way with the implementation of Sections 1021 and 1022 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 within the legal boundaries of the state of Texas.”
Incorporated into the NDAA at the demand of Barack Obama, these sections allow the president “…to indefinitely detain, without charge, persons including United States citizens and lawful resident aliens, whether or not they are captured within the confines of the United States.” That is, anyone Barack Obama considers a terror threat to the United States or the American public may–at his sole discretion and direction–be rounded up and incarcerated by members of the U.S. military.
The NDAA not only authorizes this exercise of police powers on American soil by the U.S. military; it allows the president to detain “until the end of hostilities” anyone he believes to have “substantially supported” al Qaeda, the Taliban, or “associated forces.” Those subjected to this arbitrary exercise of presidential power would face an indefinite period of imprisonment with no right of habeas corpus, no right to trial, no right to present proof of innocence, and no method of appeal. It makes for an utter abrogation of constitutional protections.
But State Representative Larson will have none of it as he seeks to shield the people of Texas from a law that Republicans in the U.S. Congress could not wait to pass. “Sections 1021 and 1022 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 are in direct contravention to the limits of federal power as stated in Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution and are in violation of the Texas constitution,” writes Larson in his Act.
The prospective Texas law relies for its authority and legitimacy on the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. “The Tenth Amendment…provides the United States federal government authorization to exercise only those powers delegated to it in the Constitution (Article 1, Section Eight) and nothing more,” writes Larson. And the NDAA was in no way created according to “…[the] powers delegated to [congress] in the Constitution.”
In April, Virginia passed HB 1160, making it illegal for anyone to accommodate the NDAA in that state. And as of November 19th, 16 states have refused to permit the creation of ObamaCare exchanges within their borders. With the corrupt, Marxist Obama administration in charge in Washington DC and the weak-kneed Republican Party a thoroughly undependable champion of individual liberty, it will be up to Republican-run state legislatures and non-RINO Governors to halt the progress of the imperial presidency.
The American public must make their voices heard at the state level on every important issue.

Then I would suggest the military be contacted ASAP so they can arrest HIM for breaking his own law…starting with Ft. Hood, Texas, Benghazi and Egypt being the latest…seems to me that IF the citizens have to follow the rules he should have to follow those same rules….

Well said, but what about his harboring our biggest, closest threat? YES, the Illegal aliens. By my reasoning, they are basically organized crime figures, and like Obama, have limitless excuses to what they do. But by infiltrating this country, and flooding it with narcotics, can only be seen as a terroridst threat., By being organized, and fraudelent voting, they are as big a threat to us as obama is by supplying al-quida with weapons. What nobody seems to understand is that Obama was trying to cover up the fact that He was arming Al-Qaeda with the warehouse of captured weapons from the Libyan army that were stored at the CIA Annex.. The Turkish dimplomat that Ambassadoe Stevens had just met with before the attack had just shown Stevens Russian Spy Satellite photos showing the transfer of those weapons by U.S. Personnel to Al-Qaeda personell and actually showing them loading chemical warheads which is why Russia was protesting. The incident shows Obama and Party is guilty of treason.

The best tactic is to vote as many Republicans into the Senate and House in 2014 as possible. If the Republicans control both houses of Congress, Obama can’t get any money to fund his regime.

Man O’ man am I glad I’m a member of the Constitution Party. The Republican and Democratic parties are so screwed up. After this election I’m thinking many dissatisfied people are going to start looking for a sane alternative. You got it…..it’s the Constitution Party. NONE of the craziness going on in Washington would be happening if America really had a President who knew the Constitution backwards and forwards. When we got attacked on 9/11 this President would have identified the correct country where the sub-human islamist were and nuked it. And when any other country started anything then they too would have been nuked. America has become too soft because of political correctness and the dumbing down of some of it’s citizens.
I think once this happen and they can start another party, we should kick anyone who is not an american and those people who have being nationalize like Soros, send him back to his original country take out his citizenship, he does not deserve it. Terrible news but, as usual, the mainstream media keeps mum about it.. Who will be benefited by this internationally illegal move? Are Russia and China going to act?
This is what was going on in Benghazi.
In reference to this, I live in Turkey now and Turkey has over 100,000 people from Syria in its borders, since the war started they made some camps for them, also in Jordan and lebanon. In the news we see the tanks driving by because Syria have being shooting rockets to Turkey and the military in Turkey started to shoot Syria after 4 people got killed from the rocket fires. But it was in the news here on CNN that the reason why Al-Qaeda went in to Lybia and attacked the compound after the Turkish diplomat left was because Russia had found out about the weapons being sent to the Syrian Rebels so they came to let Stevens know to don’t move the next shipment because they being watched. But the reason why they went into the compound was to kidnap Stevens and then Obama will be a hero when he will talk to the kidnappers but the Egyptians wanted the Blid Shik and they could not make a deal and everything got out off hands and the navy seal came to help when he was told to do nothing and you all know what happened. But Al-Qaeda took responsibility for what happened because it was 9-11. I do know that Erdogan and Obama were real good friends until the little war between Israel and Gaza when Obama wanted help and Erdogan started to call Obama a terrorist in the newspapers here. I mean Obama is an Idiot, why a muslim will want to help Israel? I know after Erdongan not helping Obama I have not heard anything else in the papers or on TV here.

What we are enduring today is just intolerable. The people in government, at so many levels, who have sworn to defend and uphold our constitution have violated the oath they swore. They deserve to have their lifelong sinecures ended quickly. Of course, the question of the moment is, how are we to do this? Will the military turn on its own citizens? Are we to be interned in the FEMA camps? All three branches of the central government are gone–only the citizenry remains to somehow enforce our constitution. I don’t know how this is to happen.

Up to now these acts serve as reference to the enemy on even the smallest of organizing from those staunch Patriot sites such as WJ. Wouldn’t the contingency first be about being able to identify pro and con when it’s next to you? The best American Patriot available could ask the above, as well as an informant, though I’m sure you are not, just trying to point out here. Until someone figures how to escalate change without the informant’s awareness, you’ll remain as the best of Patriots behind bars. But I think it’s possible. Till then, I suggest supporting your local TP chapter.
