In the decade which has followed the taking of 3000 American lives by Muslim terrorists, Washington politicians have done more damage to our Constitution and posed a greater threat to the rights and liberty of the American people than could have been conceived of or accomplished by all the Muslims in all the backward, barbaric, Islamic regimes of the world.
After 9/11, the American people were interested in two things—getting even and making certain it didn’t happen again.
So, on September 14th, members of Congress issued a “Joint Resolution for the Use of Military Force,” authorizing the President to “…use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed or aided the terrorist attacks…”
And, beginning with George Bush and continuing through the 3 years of Barack Obama, the language of this Resolution has been employed to arm the President of the United States with powers so threatening to the God given and Constitutional rights of the American people as to have already been either strictly limited or clearly denied the Chief Executive by existing legislation–existing legislation which is being ignored.
George Bush and Barack Obama have utilized “Warrantless Surveillance, ” tapping into communications of American citizens suspected of being in league with al Qaeda. In 2001 the Patriot Act was passed, “…dramatically reducing restrictions on law enforcement’s……ability to search telephone, email communications, medical, financial and other records.”
On New Year’s Eve, Barack Obama signed into law legislation enabling him to incarcerate for an indefinite period any American citizen he considers a terrorist threat to the United States. This National Defense Authorization Act gives such prisoners no right to view the evidence or charges against them, no right to counsel, and no right to a speedy trial before their peers. Though guaranteed all citizens by the 6th Amendment, these rights are vacated by this Act.
Legislation is now making its way through Congress which would provide the president authority to revoke the citizenship of any American he believes either to have engaged in “hostilities” against the US, or to be a supporter of those who have.
In short, our rights and liberty are being eagerly swallowed whole by DC politicians in the name of protecting the nation from terrorism. And make no mistake, both Democrats and Republicans are signing on to these overreaching abuses of federal authority with little regard for the Constitutional treachery being exercised.
Many are undoubtedly greedy for the power such dangerous legislation affords the Washington ruling elite. Others give these measures their approval in order to avoid accusations of being “soft on terrorism.”
Either way, how do we the people stop and reverse the disintegration of our rights and the bastardization of the Constitution? “In questions of power, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution,” wrote Thomas Jefferson of those who would be foolish enough to consider “their” president to be above the improper use of unlimited power. (3)
But when elected officials refuse to BE bound by the Constitution, what recourse is left the American public?
The Founders would undoubtedly be both shocked and dismayed that the American people have yet to make good use of the 2nd Amendment rights these great men were so careful to reaffirm in our Constitution.

It’s a no brainer! We need to address our REAL ENEMY!!
Our real enemy is ourselves! an article dated april 28, 2011 out of the Czech Republic in the Prager Zeitung “The danger to America is not BO but a citizenry capable of entrusting an inexperienced man like him with the presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their pres. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. O, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a BO. It is less likely to survive a multitude of idiots such as those who made him their president.” So we get bad and worse to choose from and the people just take it. The status quo in D.C. will not be broken (this means all the corruption) until Americans wake up and recognize that both parties are playing us. How can this be, we are so into the distractions of the stars (hollywood) athletes etc and their lives rather than watching what is happening to our own lives.
Right on the money. The US has been encouraging the breeding of inferior stock for decades and not content with the speed of the process, is now importing it by the millions. And as these people vote, whether legally or not, those who have made the US the greatest of nations are forced to suffer the consequences and pay the tab. Not exactly PC, but a lot of truths aren’t.
Well patriots, I once truely believed in the 9/11 commission report and everything W told us about the terrorists. Then I did something unusual. I started studying the evidence and I mean all of it. I began to understand which people had the most to gain and how easy it would be to get our nation to hate the Muslims for what they did to us. Or at least what we were told they did to us. The deeper I looked, the more scared and drepressed I became. None of the published government information was adding up, not at all. Nothing but coincedences and very strange events defeating the most powerful military on Earth. I’m a Mechanical Engineer by training so I was pulled into the physics of the towers collapses. Now I’m sure that Muslims had nothing to do with it. Also I’ve lost my faith in our government, our political system and our “leaders”. Be it the global warming hoax, killing Bin Laden with zero evidence produced, invading and occupying every enemy of Israel, or the incredible rate of spending with no end. Half of the US citizens are uneducated and believe everything that is put on their TV’s. Nobody reads anymore and the school system is more concerned with the new religion of environmentalism and minority studies. We don’t need math and science anymore. China will manufacture everything for us. It also matters not who gets elected in November, they will be another puppet marching to the orders of the Fed or the banking cartel or our shadow government that controls us. The corruption is just the tip of the iceberg. Ron Paul is the only candidate that gives a damn about America. Therefore he will be swept away by the bought and paid for media. We will get what we deserve.
I do agree Ron Paul is the man. I’m ridiculed for having a Ron Paul Hope for America bumper sticker constantly. However, I fear for him. I think he knows he can’t be president and is really doing his patriotic duty in trying to awaken the people. I have gone to the truthers movies and if you haven’t watched one called Invisible Empire A New World Order (full length) it’s on youtube. I try hard not to believe what looks to be a reasonable conclusion to 9/11. I’m sorry to say I don’t trust my gvt. At the same time I feel we’ve been so inundated with propaganda, it’s difficult to know who’s telling the truth. Once you start to look at an issue with suspect it’s hard to be objective. But, I believe where there’s smoke there’s fire. War is a means by which to cause chaos and that directs the peoples attention off the subject matter which should be closely scrutinized. It impossible to do it alone, so becoming part of a conservative group, be it a tea party or some other coalition, is the only way for us to see this through.
Very well stated Newmorning. It’s nice to read a post such as yours that has all the fat trimmed off and it’s just plain steak. I read that article by the Czech writer right after it was written. I thought to myself if this man can see our vulnerabilities so can the powers that be in other parts of the world. The Bible speaks about how to overtake a man in his home. It speaks about in order to do this you must control the strongman. Normally we have a strong man in the White House. Unfortunately all we have right now is a weak little boy pretending to be a man. Now our military has taken a 1 trillion dollar hit. Like you said , both parties have us in the crosshairs and they could care less. I don’t suppose that their approval rating right now is at 5% give or take would have anything to do with that ? I think we need to excercise our Constitutional rights and obligations. I’m referring to the second paragraph of the Constitution. Where it states “That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends (Life,Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness), it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying it’s foundation on such principles and organizing it’s powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.” It should be mandantory that every American citizen be required to read all three of our founding documents. Then we would all know exactly what needs to be done. Maybe someday when things get bad enough we will !!!
I really can’t argue with the comments posted herein, they are all points that are hard to argue with, by patriots that care more about America than any elected criminal. One correction for Eddie, the second paragraph you cite is from the Declaration of Independence not the Constitution. That being said, those words are timeless and a roadmap as valid today as during the Revolution. The stakes today unfortunately are far greater because the majority of the people are far more ignorant and our representatives far more criminal! The second amendment validates the entire body of the Constitution as it provides the only immediate remedy to breaches of any and all other provisions of the Constitution! I served a living nation and today brothers in arms are serving a dying nation, under orders from an ineligible usurper and a criminally infested Congress and Judiciary. We have but one option open to us and that second amendment provides our only hope!

I, in my humble opinion do believe we are almost there. I now regularly attend a constitution class that has so enlightened me. I live in PA and we have a group CAF (Coalition advancing Freedom) that does these classes in varios folks homes. Wallbuilders I believe does one of the videos. There are a few and of course there are books we read to go along throughout the weeks. The Making of America and The Five Thousand Year Leap are two books that help in understanding our constitution and founding fathers. Of course we have to get into the Federalist Papers (especially the 5 written by Madison) and Bill of Rights. It’s alot of time and most people just won’t do it. They’d rather be entertained by some hollywood starlet and her umteenth marriage or some athlete who beat and raped his girlfriend. We Americans are a strange lot. Spoiled by what was given to us by those who sacrificed their lives for the cause of Freedom.

You haven’t seen the videos where 9/11 evidence that the official story of September 11th is false is at this point abundant, demonstrable and incontrovertible. The most outrageous lie told to us was that the World Trade Center towers 1,2 and 7 collapsed, each in less than 12 seconds, due only to fire damage. Over 1500 architects, engineers and physicists have signed a petition demanding a new investigation because they are convinced that the evidence clearly demonstrates that the official story is scientifically impossible, and that the evidence collected and observed shows clearly that the twin towers as well as building 7 were intentionally demolished using explosives – something that would have taken months in advance to prepare. http://ae911truth.org/

At least novakenss has the story right. It’s seems like our only hope are our most basic elected officials, out local sheriffs. They have the power to arrest criminals, and we have lying elected criminals representing us. That judge that wants to try Obama for lying about his eligibility is a good start. Arresting the senators and congressmen on their home break by our local sharifs is another good idea.

No. None, nada. Your just repeating what we already know, which does nothing more than enforce what is already wrong. Get a little pro-active for a change.
There are plenty of us out here now pro active. I’m for the first time in my life going door to door. I have a very hard time trying to tell anyone that whoever is the republican candidate is a great statesman and we should vote for him simply bkz it’s not BO. I’m going to our state capital to protest with doz. of others that don’t like the fact that we have both houses and gov. office and still no conservative policies are moving forward. Letters to editors, faxes, emails and phone calls consume the group I work with. I have no life and spend any extra on those I believe are the true conservatives. If Jim DeMint puts his seal of approval on someone, I trust him enough to support him. I worked endlessly sacrificing family time etc…to see Pat Toomey elected . Please short of trying to incite people to pick up arms and make a drive by on our criminal public servants, I am pro active. I hope you can say the same. Point is, without 10million of us marching – nothing is going to get their attention. I saw what happened when therr was 1.3 million down there at the capital, nothing much. Still I continue to hold on to hope and push to my limit along with lots of other folks. Is it enough. Not if alot more citizens don’t wake up and join those of us who want to see our liberties restored and the economic opportunites for future generations renewed.
newmorning, good post. I trust Jim Demint also. The MMM on DC only was to show opposition against the administration doing what we were against. The no new taxes was a repele against them spending money they didn’t have. Same with the pink slips. Now we have Ron Paul to spell out what we are against. He is the one I trust most of all. Newt, Romney, Perry are all (look at their voting records) lying RINO’s. Yes we vote anyone in that gets the nomination, but don’t let anyone connected with the “news” do the deciding. They are running the debates like they always have. I’m not suggesting a drive-by, I’m suggesting we get Ron Pauls issues out there, the Patriot Act, the Federal Reserve Bank, the National Defense Authorization Act, ObamaCare and NWO, Agenda21 which is UN and is being pushed by the EPA and the TSA. That’s enough to get rid of the RINOs.
All we need to do is get enough people who are disgusted to actually join the fight. I hear it everywhere, even my closest of friends, but, they won’t become engaged. It’s a struggle getting them to sign a petition. This week I have to go door to door for signatures for Sam Rohrer (PA , trying to get on the ballot to run against B.Casey ultra lib) however, our republican gov. Corbett has decided to back Welsch, a guy 2 years ago who was a liberal democrat backing Joe Sestak, apparently Welsch has a boat-load of $ and will be financing a large portion of his campaign. This doesn’t make a difference – as I’ve said I don’t see a nickels worth of difference between the parties. Ron Paul Hope For America. And I do believe he is indeed a true patriot. The man knows it’s slime to none, his chances of getting the nomination, but, getting his message out is what I believe he is all about at this time. I think it’ll be VERY difficult for many people to vote for one of the others (except for perhaps Santorum ?) . I almost want to write in Ron Paul , but if he doesn’t run on a 3rd party ticket I know I’d be throwing my vote away. One other agency that has to go is the Fed. Dept. of Edu. or lack of edu. more like brainwashing.. The UN Agenda 21 – sustainable dev. has been totally accepted in 7 states incl. MD (right next door to me) and we know a few folks there who are paying attention and they can’t believe what they understand it to be. However, are they going to get involved, no I don’t think so. Don’t know them well enough, but, one fella I was listening to said there’s nothing we can do anyway. I simply said if the founding fathers said that we’d still be paying taxes to the King on the other side of the Atlantic.

By allowing unconstitutional power and excessive wealth to be concentrated in the federal government and its executive, we have attracted the power-mad and avaricious to the Office of President. If one of the states becomes tyrannical, the evil can be isolated and limited. When the central government, intended to be the administrator of a federal union of sovereign states, becomes a tyrant, all are oppressed, and amelioration that much more difficult.
Now, unless impeachment hearings are held very soon to conduct an exhaustive investigation of Obama, including his birth and possible loss of citizenship, to determine whether he should be impeached, as indeed he should, it is entirely conceivable that there will be a Reichstag moment or many such moments and this tyrant Obama will “defer” elections indefinitely. And it’s the fault of the People, who among their other sins elected RINOs to the U.S. House of Representatives, who will not investigate or impeach Obama.
Impeachment would not be a walk in the park. Obama has been spoiling for it. One thing he will do is claim an alien black Luo as his birth father (which his real, original birth certificate disproves) and whip up violent protests against election officials who refuse to put his name on the ballot, then blame the birthers for the violence.
Impeachment hearings might very well be a pretext for Obama to declare the Congress in revolt and rule by decree (“executive order”).
But the longer we delay impeachment, the more difficult it will be. A general strike might be a necessary prelude to the removal of the pretender to the Office of President for inability to govern. Get the membership lists of the S..E.I.U. and appeal to them directly; their leadership does not represent them, and they know it.
Things will be much better for America if the Georgia judge takes over discovery in Welden v. Obama and forces full disclosure, which will verify Obama’s natural born status AT BIRTH and elicit the facts about his possible loss of citizenship, which would enable election officials such as secretaries of state of the 50 states and D.C. to make rational and informed decisions whether to allow Obama on their respective ballots.
Obama is pressing. He is behind schedule. The Comintern, whose agent he has been for all or most of his adult life to date, had planned the breakup of the United States by 2010.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that with full disclosure the election officials of the 50 states and D.C. can decide whether to put Obama on their respective ballots without being accused of “jest doin’ it cuz he’s black”, as the original birth certificate, confirmed by DNA analysis, will probably show that neither of Barry’s parents was a Negro, and certainly the alien black Luo was not his father.
