A Los Angeles teacher with close ties to the openly racist African People’s Socialist Party received the recommendation of United Teachers Los Angeles in his pursuit of a city council seat.
Ron Gochez himself has been known to disparage both America and various races in his own personal commentary. For instance, he infamously called for a Mexican Revolution in the U.S. while speaking at a La Raza rally several years ago and penned a blatantly anti-semitic letter to the editor prior to that incident.
His association with the APSP, though, is even more telling.
The group is so far to the left of the mainstream, even progressive icons Barack Obama and Jesse Jackson are too conservative.
One political organization, California Political News, compiled a list of the reprehensible statements made by the group and its members.
While some of the comments are so vulgar that any editing on my part would render them incomprehensible, I will list a few of the tamer examples to illustrate the larger point.
For a trip to North Carolina during which “he went and worked with those honkies down there,” one APSP source considers Jackson an “old Uncle Tom [expletive deleted].”
The greatest voice in the black community’s nonviolent pursuit of civil rights, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., is derided for trying to lead his people “back onto the plantation” by another adherent to the group.
Additionally, complaints about the Holocaust are blown out of proportion because “those white people … need those dead Jews to hold up in the face of any Africans and other oppressed people around the world who say look what you did to me.”
Most of the group’s complaints are utterly nonsensical, but the vitriol and hate with which they are dispersed is all too real.
Of the 12 candidates seeking the L.A. council position, Gochez represents the type of person the city’s teachers union apparently believes most closely holds its views.
If that is not an indictment of our public school systems’ continuing leftward lurch, I cannot imagine what would qualify.

Nothing surprises me any longer. Was it last month that old Bill Ayres, ovomits good old communist,terriost buddy was speaking at teachers union meetings? Racist,communist what’s the difference they’re all about the same to me. That I think is totally insane,but who are “We The People”? Oh I keep forgetting… we are nobody!

What do you expect from Mexican people… they STILL feel this country belongs to them…
Here in San Antonio; we have two products of one of the foudners of La Raza, The Castro brothers. And don’t think that these two don’t fall far from the jalapeno (their mother), because underneath their cheesy smiles and nice suits and so called education, are two politicians with the same goals as the likes of Ron Gochez.
Underneath skin, suits, and cheesy smiles, Mexicans are not Americans, by heredity. Any more than a Chihuahua is a Rottweiller, although both are Canis lupus familiaris. The denial of the most basic fact of animal life on earth is a fine basis for a suicidal society.
The Americans of California should unite and bring charges against former governor Schwarzenegger for violation of immigration laws. If he holds valid citizenship, it should be revoked, and he returned to Austria.
He’ll fit right in….don’t you folks get it? What more do you expect from the teachers’ unions, and the Peoples Republic of Californication?
He’ll probably wind up in DC with the Congressional Black Caucasians.

Bobby, I doubt that Ron Gochez or the United Teachers Los Angeles read these comments on Facebook. If you are serious about what you say then contact them directly. Have a petition made up and get as many people as you can to sign it. That’s one of the only things that’s going to get their attention.
Shame on you all for calling him a racist! It’s only racism if a white &/or conservative speaks or does it!

The picture displays what appears to me to be someone who would have psychopathic tendencies. It just reeks of it. He looks like a person who is just itching to get some imagined revenge on someone. Those people are making a mistake, then again, they may want this type in there, but as things happens, it will come back and bite them in the butt. Give it time. Personallly, I hope those who are promoting these types are the ones who suffer the brunt any trouble he is likely to cause. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel on purpose, it seems, trying to destroy what America has labored to build.
People who are like this man and his racism should never be in a position to deal with the public. He is no more than a big mouthed trouble maker who will bring many problems on that office.
I see he has little psychopathic pucker going. He just seems to think he is the answer to everything. News flash puck, you are not fit to lead people with your sickening attitude.
