Every election cycle, the American people are bombarded by messages from those who think they are fit to lead. Most of them are not, but they wear nice clothes and smile a lot, so other people listen to the garbage spewing forth and agree or disagree.
Meetings are held, speeches are given, unhealthy ‘finger’ food gets eaten, and we wonder to ourselves if anything said is true. We listen to men and women who are different from the scoundrels begging on the street only by the clothes they wear and the phony smiles featuring false teeth and the painted smiles of the women seeking a paycheck at the expense of the taxpayer.
It would be amusing, if we weren’t in such dire straits.
It used to be that meetings were held in smoke-filled rooms where men bargained and gambled using the future of the people as bargaining chips. Now it is politically incorrect to smoke, but the rooms stink anyway from the hot air expended by the self-important wannabes and their handlers.
The unethical shenanigans and the dishonest tricks are used not to help one, but to hinder one. It is a disgusting business. Billions of dollars are spent bringing messages to the weary voters; most of these messages are not believed by either side. It is the best liar who wins. It is the one who can pull the dirtiest tricks that gets the votes.
Here in Clark County, Nevada, we have a situation that defies any logic – even in politics. A candidate for the United States House of Representatives has used nefarious means to win the primary election for the Republican candidacy in the general election in the fall. His followers think he won. We lost. We lost because we have now a man who has proven himself to be unworthy of the title of Representative. How could anyone now address him as The Honorable _____ _________?
That is how he will be addressed, if he wins the general. I hope he does because his opponent is even worse. I shudder at the prospect of my grandchildren’s future, for it is a dismal future.
The chairman and vice-chairman of the Clark County Republican Party Central committee both resigned their positions at about the same time and joined Team Nevada (that is the name the unfair and dishonest Republican National Committee is using for their anointed candidate.) This move was planned far in advance, perhaps even in advance of a questionable vote at the bi-monthly meeting of the CCRPCC. Team Nevada accepted the former members of the Central Committee. Would you accept such people to your team? This is, at best, dishonest. We now have a potential presidential candidate who willingly accepts men who have proven themselves to be less than forthright. What does that say for the candidate? You are known by the company you keep.
At the State level of the Republican Party, a technician “accidentally” provided one Congressional candidate with the list of 1,600 purged voters as the current list of voters, while at the same time providing the ultimate winner with a list of 20,000 current voters, then resigned and joined Team Nevada.
Do those who support and will vote for the scoundrel think that they can trust him? If they do, they are being very foolish. A dishonest person cannot be trusted. That is a gold-plated fact. Yet, that is exactly what we will have if the man wins the general election – a man who has proven that he will accept the help of duplicitous people with a smile and a “thank-you.” He cannot be trusted to be open and honest.
The people who support this dishonesty call themselves Christians, attend church services regularly, put a few dollars in the coffers at their church, and bow and say “amen” when the Pastor calls for honest and ethical actions in their daily lives. But could we trust them to keep our books?
These people who pull the dirty tricks think they win. They don’t. In the end, they lose like the rest of us because they have helped put someone of low character in a position to make decisions as to how many men and women will be sent to war. Let the funeral dirge continue for our once-great Republic. The casket is closed; the nails are being driven home. They are being driven there by some who think they have convinced others they have done a service for mankind.
Only one of the presidential candidates championed freedom, lower taxes, bringing our troops home, ending the foolish wars, and living in Peace. No, there were no winners in this latest debacle that was called a “primary election.”
Come November 6th, will we have a choice of one liar or another, or will we have an honest man to vote for? Will we be forced to choose the liar we distrust the least, or will we be able to choose for our next President a man who we can trust?

WELL WELL:: IT DOESN’T matter who you vote for! The CANDIDATE who has bought the most ELECTORIAL COLLEGE VOTES WINS. 1 Candidate receives 90% of the popular vote and 20% of the ELECTORIAL COLLEGE VOTE HE LOSES. The other CANDIDATE receives 10% of the POPULAR VOTE and 80% of the ELECTORIAL COLLEGE VOTE HE WINS.RECKON HE HAD MORE MONEY TO BUY VOTES THAN THE OTHER CANDIDATE!! GET RID OF THE ELECTORIAL COLLEGE ELECT A CANDIDATE BY POPULAR VOTE THAT WAY IT IS HONEST!!
Unfortunately there is no one we can trust on the political scene. I think the repugnican robbers and demoncrat dogs between them have destroyed our political scene. We cannot vote them out, because the machines are controlled by SEIU. The free press died early in the 21st Century and now there are no real investigative reporters telling the truth. The Tea Party appears relatively clean, but it seems as soon as anyone goes to Washington, they are infected by the selfservingitus disease and they stop serving the people who hired them. Who knows ho we can clean out the rats nest which is Washington DC. Maybe we need a modern Hercules or some such hero from the past.
Your headline and comment brings to mind Dr Ron Paul. To answer your question, and perhaps your frustration, is NOT NOW. We the people cannot go from dark to light in one four year period. We have been busy electing the more “constitutionalist believing people” to government to begin the change there to bring our country back to the way it once was. Obama’s people began many years ago slowly, very slowly so as not to be noticed. First our children, our media, our congress. We woke up to find we had almost succumbed. We realized that truth was our responsiblilityto find and not to rely on newspapers and TV for the truth. We know Romney is not the man Ron Paul is. But at this moment, we only have some say in the Republican Party that doesn’t speak for the most of us anymore. What we have is priority. The first one is vote out Obama even if that means voting for someone who isn’t as constitutionalist as we’d like. We must work harder to wake middle America up, to wake up all people. With 50% of the people still asleep, we will be lucky to see Romney become President. Romney may lean left in some ideas, but he also believes in us and America. He’s a place holder. He will stop some of the harm Obama has done, even if it’s only one thing. He will listen to those we send to Congress…Obama doesn’t even listen to his own. Just like what happened while we slept, a slow conversion over years – we will have to do the same. One good man at a time, waking up the other 50% and electing people who think as we do and lobbying those entities that support Obama- hurting the pocketbook like we did the Breast Cancer Awareness site. We ask them not to back anyone – to be neutral and they refused. Well ask them how much they are down in members buying and support the BBC. We the people, agree with every single sentence you said, and pray that soon, we will be able to elect a President such as Dr. Ron Paul but timing and knowledge is everything. It is not time for Dr Ron Paul but do not underesimate the appreciation we feel for the backers and electorates who taught us something. We need you to vote with us for Romney, and your reward is to help us to move America back to where she once was, proud and free. The time is not now, but the time is coming. The constitution was written for a free people, and now we study the constitution along side our Bibles, and know that one teaches goodness and the other teaches resposibility. We are stepping up the plate.
When people begin to understand that the government is run by crooks that should have jail time rather than leadership positions, we might be in a better understanding of the criminal influence of our government.
The manipulation of the general public is now in full swing. I am 100% convinced that Barack Obama isn’t legally qualified to hold office of the President of the United States and that he was born in Mombasa. The most obvious Obama fraud is his latest “Birth Certificate” with the Hospital listed as “Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital” I was born in “Kapiolani Maternity Hospital.” The “and Gynecological” part of that hospital’s name was added in 1978!. Whoever created that “Original”Birth Certificate” didn’t do their homework. It’s a fake.
Shawn Hannity has been hammering on Obama not being qualified for months, but tonight Hannity’s program on Fox amounted to a campaign advertisement for Marco Rubio! Marco Rubio also isn’t legally qualified to hold the office of Vice President or President because his parents weren’t American citizens when he was born! Why is Hannity even promoting Marco Rubio? What Big Money Interests are behind of the Marco Rubio propaganda machine? Why is Hannity being a hypocrite? Will the general public ever realize that we are being played by the “Establishment?” Who are the “Establishment?” The Establishment are the Bib Money Interests and membership of the CFR, the Tri-Laterals, and the Bilderbergers. Time is way overdue to NOT vote for Democrats or Republicans. How can you trust either party when Big Money pulls the politician’s strings?
The big deal on Hannity about Rubio bothered me also. I like Rubio a lot, one of the best coming into Politics, but he is needed in Congress. He doesn’t qualify for POTUS nor VP according to the constitution and we’ve made that mistake already and won’t do it again. I’m praying Romney chooses another for VP and not put this on our shoulders. As for not voting – we have no choice. It is vote for Romney to get Obama OUT. We need every vote against him we can get. Romney is safe enough for a place keeper, and we can work on cleaning Congress for the next four years. We don’t have to give him another 4 unless he does far better than I think he will.
