Unprecedented Corruption: Destroying Ourselves

Chicago White House Unprecedented corruption: destroying ourselves

Americans are seeing levels of corruption in government like never before.  The truths being revealed almost daily highlight a central issue: the importance of integrity in leadership.

Leadership sets the tone and the example.

We’ve been down this road before.  Richard Nixon actively engaged criminality, creating a crisis and destroying confidence in leadership, leading to his resignation.  Bill Clinton’s behavior encouraged staff to behave likewise resulting in criminality, a credibility crisis, and impeachment.

The present state of affairs makes Nixon and Clinton look like amateurs, continuing the shame of seeing executive leadership demonstrate criminal and immoral behavior, leaving youth to conclude that nothing of value matters anymore.

One scandal after another in recent weeks makes this administration look like an international crime syndicate.  Americans should keep in mind that Harry Truman was right in saying that the buck stops at his desk.  Ultimately, the President is responsible, as Obama has stated himself over and over.

The latest outrage involves allegations of criminality in the State Department.  Once again, illegality has apparently been fairly widespread; and when honest government investigators attempted to do their jobs, they were waved off and told to stand down.

This revelation is reminiscent of scandals involving the Secret Service not long ago.  It is another example of government engaging in illegality, covering it up, and then turning on whistleblowers trying to do the right thing.  That spells “police state.”

Working back through time to review this massively deteriorating situation:

>NSA leaks reveal unprecedented domestic surveillance some say far exceeds the original intent of the Patriot Act.  Feds are in bed with 50 communications companies to collect data on citizens.  Creeping fascism.  The Director of National Intelligence is accused of lying under oath.

>The IRS is intentionally harassing conservative groups, infringing constitutional rights, engaging in illegality, and persecuting average citizens with the inappropriate use of FBI and ATF investigators to suppress opposition voices.

>DOJ investigates journalists (Rosen at Fox and hundreds of editors and reporters at the Associated Press.) The Attorney General is now accused of perjury.

>Serial scandals and controversies over the years at DOJ leave the Attorney General looking like a criminal co-conspirator: Black Panthers cut loose after being convicted of felonies, Fast & Furious gun running resulting in hundreds of deaths, subsequent stonewalling of congressional investigators, bungling the Boston Massacre investigation, to name a few.  Whistleblowers again are targeted for persecution and sanction.

>Immigration officials are forced to sue the Administration, alleging that Obama purposefully prevented them from doing their jobs in enforcing standing law.

>EPA officials run roughshod over companies and individuals, installing policies and procedures to enact provisions of global warming mitigation rejected by Congress.

>The EPA releases personal data on 80,000 farmers and livestock operations to environmentalist groups, thus targeting farm families.

>Scandal surrounds Benghazi; leadership is lying to the public, covering up, and attempting to distract attention.

>Another scandal involves the deaths of SEALS in Afghanistan: irregularities, illegalities, lies, and cover up.

>Obama’s Sec. of Health and Human Services illegally asks companies she will regulate to contribute funds to help forward the implementation of ObamaCare.

>Various federal agencies sponsor conferences, wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on frivolous events (GSA, IRS, Veterans Affairs for example.)

>Scandals involve fraud and waste throughout the Stimulus spending debacle; green subsidies end in company bankruptcies over and over.

>Obama wages war in Libya without congressional authorization.

>Lies and media manipulation in the wake of Sequestration put public safety at risk.

>Obama makes illegal recess appointments and other moves to circumvent the Constitution and Congress, most notably the effort to install the Dream Act by executive order to achieve immigration reform without legislative action.

This criminal Administration has lost credibility.  The people do not trust Obama.  He never had integrity; and finally, the people have concluded he is unfit to lead.

Heartbreaking reality: the words of Lincoln are coming true . . .

“If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”

Character and morality matter, after all.

U.S. Government Collapse Inches Closer

AmericaCollapse U.S. Government Collapse Inches Closer

Each Friday, I report on the impending and inevitable collapse of the U.S. Federal Government. These columns generate intense response and regular questions. Today, I want to answer a couple of the most frequently asked questions. They may be weighing on your mind.

The most popular question is: “Floyd, how can you make the statement that government collapse is inevitable? You can’t know the future.” My retort is simple. I studied mathematics.

In many fields of knowledge, the answers can get fuzzy. Do we have global warming? Do we have global cooling? Put a group of climatologists in a room and you can find not just two answers, but a multitude of plausible and interesting answers.

However, try the same experiment with mathematicians, and the answers to the problem should be the same. Math doesn’t lie, and the equation doesn’t change. The only change is in the variables, or the inputs.

This is why I can say with total confidence that America is going to collapse. In fact, the collapse of the U.S. government is as inevitable as the collapse of Enron was. Because for the last 40 years, our political leaders have made promises and written checks that they can’t cash.

The Entitlement Equation

This week, I reviewed the 2013 annual reports of the Board of Trustees of the Federal Old-Age and Survivors Insurance and Federal Disability Insurance Trust Funds. And the picture of the future is quite horrendous. In less than a year, the Social Security program’s unfunded financial obligations rocketed up $1 trillion from last year’s devastating projection of $8.6 trillion.

The bottom line is this: The Social Security program over the next 75 years will require 9.6 trillion more dollars than we have. And the ability to collect enough money within the current tax regime just doesn’t exist.

Our leaders on Capitol Hill and in the White House have promised benefits to people, but the current tax system doesn’t have a chance in hell of ever being able to collect the money to fund these benefits.

What’s worse is that the $9.6 trillion is just the unfunded liability for Social Security. If you look around at the host of other programs, they’re all drastically underfunded too. And the sad reality is that if you stripped average Americans of every dollar, I doubt even then that we could pay these bills.

The entire Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the United States in 2011 was under $15 trillion, so why do politicians promise benefits that our economy can’t possibly sustain? The only answer is that they never studied math. Barack Obama clearly can’t do simple math.

So bankruptcy and collapse are inevitable without a drastic change in the variables or inputs. If we woke up tomorrow and started only spending what we took in, the situation would radically change. But to get politicians to cut benefits to the point of a balanced budget is like asking Lindsay Lohan to give up booze – or better yet, asking John Belushi (when he was alive) to give up drugs.

When Will America Collapse?

Above is the second question that I‘m regularly asked. Again I give a simple answer: We’ve already started to collapse.

If you’re under age 30, you know what I mean. Adequate jobs for the under-30 crowd are non-existent. America sticks brilliant minds, holding quality degrees, with jobs like stacking merchandise at Walmart (WMT) or slinging hash at Denny’s (DENN). The young people I know have had great difficulty getting jobs in their chosen field – if they get a job at all. Don’t believe me? Talk to the under-30 crowd near you, and I think you’ll find I’m right.

This is due to our government’s policy of de-industrialization. America has slowly liquidated our manufacturing capabilities, along with our wealth. And now the world’s richest 1% control 39% of all the planetary wealth.

In contrast, the bottom 50% of people controls just 1% of the world’s money in aggregate. The worldwide financial and political system now delivers and funnels the riches to the very pinnacle of the wealthiest people.

How has this happened, you ask? Well, the global elite have amassed tons of wealth by lending money to the U.S. and other governments. Our debt-based monetary and financial system transfers wealth from average citizens and the government into the hands of the worldwide banking organizations.

Then the “too-big-to-fail” banks use leverage to gobble up everything of value – they want the world’s natural resources, profitable businesses, and real estate. Because they don’t rely on the safety net and social services the politicians have promised the rest of us, they really don’t care if a government collapses.

In the end, it’s this unchecked greed that‘ll end up pushing the government past its tipping point.

Weathering The Politicians

Man Made Global Warming Denier SC Weathering the Politicians

Yesterday, I read an interesting article in Newsweek about the connection between tornadoes and climate change.

Newsweek’s story explained how top climate scientists were concerned about several ominous and fundamental changes occurring in Earth’s weather patterns.

Evidence that Earth’s climate was changing in the wrong direction, the article said, included a shorter growing season in England, higher average temperatures at the equator, and an increase in tornadoes like the monster than killed at least 24 people in Tornado Alley this past week.

“Last April,” wrote Newsweek, “in the most devastating outbreak of tornadoes ever recorded, 148 twisters killed more than 300 people and caused half a billion dollars’ worth of damage in thirteen U.S. states.”

Newsweek’s article went on to say scientists weren’t sure what was causing the global climate to change and could not predict how it would affect specific local weather conditions.

But the news magazine said top weather scientists were certain of one thing: They were “almost unanimous in the view that the trend will reduce agricultural output for the rest of the century” and result in “a major climatic change that would force economic and social adjustments on a worldwide scale.”

Oh, I forgot to mention a few important facts.

The date on that Newsweek article was April 28, 1975. The headline was “The Cooling World.” And the climate change scientists were almost unanimously worried about was a global cooling trend.

Global cooling, the Big Climate Scare of the 1970s, wasn’t blamed on humans; and weather disasters like Hurricane Sandy and this past week’s tragedy in Oklahoma were not politicized by climate illiterates like Babs “The Weather Girl” Boxer and her fellow U.S. Senator from Rhode Island, Sheldon Whitehouse.

Both Boxer and Whitehouse jumped on the Oklahoma City tornado tragedy this week to exploit it for political gain.

While they were still pulling survivors out of the wreckage, Whitehouse gave an idiotic speech linking “cyclones” and other extreme weather events to climate change.

Then he beat up Republicans for not believing the myth he and his political soul-bothers believe — that climate change is catastrophic, man-made, and only fixable by great climatologists like Al Gore and wise Washington politicians.

Whitehouse later apologized, saying he wrote the speech before he knew about the tornadoes striking Oklahoma. But his climatic ignorance and his crass, opportunistic politics were exposed.

Meanwhile, Sen. Boxer had no excuse. She took a break from her gun control crusade to spend time on her other crusade — climate control.

Last Monday, she expressed her condolences to the tornado victims, then twisted another natural tragedy into a political issue. She blathered that the tornado was “proof” of climate change.

Sorry, Ma’am, but tornados have been around for a long time. That’s why we call it Tornado Alley, not “Global Warming Alley.” In Florida and the Carolinas, we have Hurricane Alley. I live in Earthquake Alley.

Next time a natural disaster strikes, I have some advice for all the climate-control freaks in Washington.

Please shut up. Nothing you say or do will change anything. Oklahoma is not going to get safer if Earth gets cooler.

And Boxer, Whitehouse, and their ilk are not going to make tornadoes disappear like Newsweek did.

Believe it not, senators, climate is not something that Washington can control.

It’s ultimately affected — and controlled — by Almighty Nature, not humans and their carbon burning. And certainly not by agenda-driven politicians.

Flat-Earth Democrats

Penguins global warming prevention 33210735 600 400 300x200 Flat Earth Democrats

The victims of the tornado that hit Moore Oklahoma had not even been counted when Democrat politicians made fools of themselves by trying to link the disaster to global warming and Republicans. California Senator Barbara Boxer said, “This is climate change. We were warned about extreme weather, not just hot weather but extreme weather . . . you’re also going to see snow in the summer in some places. You’re going have terrible storms. You’re going to have tornados.”

Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse made the same dubious claim and explicitly blamed Republicans. “Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse,” the Senator said, “care if we Republicans run off the climate cliff like a bunch of proverbial lemmings and disgrace ourselves? I’ll tell you why. We’re stuck in this together. When cyclones tear up Oklahoma and hurricanes swamp Alabama and wildfires scorch Texas, you come to us, the rest of the country, for billions of dollars to recover. And the damage that your polluters and deniers are doing doesn’t just hit Oklahoma and Alabama and Texas. It hits Rhode Island with floods and storms.” Whitehouse later apologized, but only for his timing, not for his smear.

But Boxer and Whitehouse are simply following the lead of President Obama, who made the same unscientific and partisan claim in his inaugural address:

“We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations. Some may still deny the overwhelming judgment of science, but none can avoid the devastating impact of raging fires, and crippling drought, and more powerful storms.”

Once again, the party of science and reason has exposed itself as hopelessly unscientific and irrational.

Latest “High CO2″ Announcement A Misleading Lie

Pelosi Gore Global Warming Saucer SC Latest High CO2 Announcement A Misleading Lie

Recently, scientists at the CO2 monitoring station at Mona Loa Observatory in Hawaii announced that CO2 levels in the earth’s atmosphere have reached 400 parts per million. Pieter Tans of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration estimates that CO2 levels haven’t been this high in 2 million years.

On the surface, it seems we should all be concerned with this high level reading of CO2 in the atmosphere and rush to do whatever we can to bring the level down, based on their assumption that CO2 is the main greenhouse gas responsible for causing global warming/climate change.

However, nothing could be further from the truth, both from the aspect of the high reading of CO2 as well as the assumption that CO2 is the main gas that causes a greenhouse effect in our atmosphere.

As with all other fantastic claims made by the global warming/climate change crowd, the latest claim of CO2 levels being the highest ever recorded in modern times simply falls apart when actual facts are examined.

First of all, the high level reading of 400 PPM is incorrect in the sense that it’s supposed to represent the levels in the entire atmosphere of the earth. This is because of the location of the CO2 monitoring station itself, being at Mona Loa Observatory. The observatory itself sits essentially on the rim of Mona Loi Volcano, which is an active volcano that erupted in the spring of 1984 and is currently considered active. The main gases released by volcanoes are H2O and CO2. These and other gases are constantly being released, both from the actual crater and from fissures near the crater every day. So what we have here are scientists at Mona Loa Observatory recording drastic rises of atmospheric CO2 but failing to admit why this is. Of course, anyone will record high levels of CO2 when they are looking for it near an active volcano. Thus, the high level reading of CO2 is a false reading.

Interestingly, most CO2 monitoring stations around the world are located on or very near areas that naturally produce CO2 such as volcanoes and fault lines, and near coastal areas where sea mounts are located. So, actual CO2 readings from any of these monitoring stations cannot be trusted as accurate.

Secondly, most scientists at these stations are not climate scientists at all but are highly educated environmentalists, masquerading as climate scientists. This is true of Pieter Tans of NOAA, who isn’t educated in any aspect of meteorology at all, only holding a PhD in experimental physics and a degree in theoretical physics. Since he has no education in any aspect of weather, climate, or overall atmospheric physics, he isn’t qualified to present himself as a climate scientist.

CO2 simply isn’t a greenhouse gas. Most geologists, “except those standing to gain financially and in standing from promoting GW/CC,” will agree that the driving force behind a greenhouse effect is water vapor above all else. Ice cores show an increase in CO2 levels only after a warming period, not before. Thus, increased levels of CO2 are a result of warming periods, not the other way around.

We can use the planet Mars as an example of the fact that CO2 is not a greenhouse gas since scientists estimate the atmosphere of the planet to be nearly 100% CO2. During the summer months in a given area of the planet, the temperature will reach into the 80-degree range. However, after sunset, the temperature will rapidly drop into the single digits. Even given the distance from the sun and its rotation, Mars should be experiencing a runaway greenhouse effect with temperatures well above 100 degrees during the day and not dipping below 90 degrees at night, with hardly any cooling taking place during winter season. Yet, this is not happening. Why? Because CO2 isn’t a greenhouse gas, nearly as much as water vapor.

Here on Earth, this can be seen in comparing desert temperature variations between day and night with those of very humid areas such as Florida. In arid desert areas, the temperature can reach well over 100 degrees during the day; but the overnight low can dip into the 60′s.

In places such as Miami, the daytime high can be 95 degrees; but the overnight low will seldom dip below 80 degrees. This variance in heat loss between these examples is due to humidity. Desert areas usually have humidity levels into the teens while areas such as Florida and the Deep South have humidity levels constantly over 60%. So, if science was serious about the Greenhouse effect on Earth, they would purposely blow oil rigs in most ocean areas to prevent evaporation rather than try and regulate a harmless gas like CO2. The bottom line here is that it isn’t about CO2 being a greenhouse gas at all, as much as it is about getting to regulate it by legislation for the purpose of financial and political gain.

Since global warming cannot be proven in any form of concrete evidence (and only exists in false data and computer manipulated models), it therefore doesn’t exist in the real world–only in the imaginations of those promoting it and in the feeble minds of those who blindly believe it.

We are at the stage where we must demand that those responsible for spreading this false information, for the purpose of scaring people into accepting their sinister plot, be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

Charges of fraud and racketeering first come to mind, aside from the financial scheme associated with GW/CC such as the Wind Energy industry, which simply supplies us with nothing while using more grid electricity than they ever produce, and very expensive solar power that would basically take a lifetime to get back what one initially invests for it.

These and others are snake oil schemes that cost us much more than we can afford. In this recession that is teetering on full blown Depression, we cannot have prices inflated to ridiculous levels on just about everything imaginable for the sake of a blatant lie.

The US is the only country in the world that goes along with destroying their own economy, based on lies and estimates of a dream. China, India, and most other industrial countries will not sacrifice their economy for anything, much less unproven fairy tales. Under the guise of saving the world from a conjured enemy in the form of GW/CC, the US is accepting outrageous unemployment rates, ridiculous inflation, and a previously unacceptable economic depression.

America was a great nation, shining above all others in the world until a few years ago. Now…we are a sorry bunch of individuals sacrificing the one thing that set us above the rest: our industry. Today, we are willing to become a third-world country while we allow the rest of the world’s industrial countries to prosper.

New School Standards Seek To Nix Climate Dissent

Man Made Global Warming Denier SC New school standards seek to nix climate dissent

For the first time in 17 years, a new set of science guidelines for the nation’s government-operated school system has been released.

This time, the Next Generation Science Standards include pointed and opinionated lesson plans designed to silence any debate by those who question the facts surrounding man-caused global warming.

Naturally, leftist environmental extremists are in favor of the new plan, since the standards being retired did not address the topic at all.

Alliance for Climate Education director Matt Lappé expressed the pleasure surely felt by most leftists in the educational system and beyond.

“The hope is that standards with rigor like this, with support within states, will squash those denialist approaches to climate science teaching,” he said.

Lappé made it clear that he wants the significant portion of Americans dissatisfied with the flimsy evidence presented by climate change adherents to simply shut up and move out of the way.

Delighting in the fact that previous bills designed to provide both sides of the argument have been defeated, he predicted “we’re now in a position where we expect that to be the norm.”

Outraged at the affront on a perfectly reasonable skepticism, a number of more conservative groups spoke out against the one-sided, politically correct guidelines.

James Taylor of the Heartland Institute chided the “anti-human message” contained in the standards, while Robert Lattimer of Citizens for Objective Public Education called it “a very bad set of standards” for conservatives.

Though this new set of standards obviously constitutes a short-term loss for the conservative argument on this issue, some see the change as an overreach that will eventually backfire.

Patrick Michaels, director of the Cato Institute’s Center for the Study of Science, predicts “tremendous resistance” from those students forced to hear the heavily skewed data.

“Kids will become even more skeptical than they are now,” he noted, expecting them to “rebel against it in the long run.”

More than half of all states took part in drafting the set of standards; and, like all other leftist agendas perpetuated in America’s schools, parents are often at the mercy of ideologically driven instructors and administrators who have direct access to and influence on the next generation.

Traditional parents must consider the indefatigable opposition represented by public education and redouble their efforts to provide the conservative ideals purposely ignored or ridiculed in mandatory lesson plans.

God (Not SCOTUS) Will Be The Final Judge On Gay “Marriage”

bible SC God (Not SCOTUS) Will Be The Final Judge On Gay Marriage

There seems to have been a shift in the Republican party away from opposing so-called gay marriage and towards an acceptance of homosexuals being able to be married with the state’s imprimatur.

I can understand Senator Rob Portman’s position.  His son is gay, and he is still his son, and he loves him.

I saw Nicole Wallace on Fox News Sunday taking a similar position.  She worked in the Bush 43 White House.  I certainly understand Vice President Dick Cheney’s position because his situation is similar to Portman’s.

Here is my problem with all of that.

The state’s imprimatur.

As I have said many times in this space, what you do on your own time and who you do it with is your own business, and I don’t really care.

But.  Please include me out.

I don’t care if you covet Paris Hilton or Perez Hilton; but why do I need to know about it, much less be forced to approve of it?

If two people of the same sex want to set up housekeeping, they can enter into a civil union, which should give them every right that a married couple has.  And, for the record, I think the federal government should only involve itself in marriage where it is forced to (and, thus, parts of the Defense of Marriage Act probably ARE unconstitutional.)

Why is it so important for me to do anything but wish a gay couple well?

And by me, I mean all of us.

Truth be told, I don’t really know whether or not God believes that homosexuality is fundamentally wrong or that marriage is between a man and a woman.  However, he certainly arranged our plumbing to accommodate that theory.

I suspect that people on my side of the argument may eventually lose to a pop culture that places a heavy value on doing whatever feels good at the moment; and there will be, on the surface, acceptance of gay marriage.

If that’s the case, I’m glad I won’t be around to see the long-term effects.  Ultimately, it won’t be Antonin Scalia or Ruth Bader Ginsburg making the judgments. It will be a much higher authority, and I suspect that it will be loud and clear.

How do I know?

I don’t.  But, being willing to make a wager, I can calculate odds.  Let me quote William Shatner’s “Boston Legal” character, Denny Crane, when asked if he believed in God and why:

“If you believe in God and it turns out there is no God, there’s no harm no foul. . .but if you don’t believe in God and there is a God, you’re screwed.”

So, you need to ask yourself a question.  And, as the number of your tomorrows becomes significantly fewer than your yesterdays, the question may be more pressing.

The question is: do you want to bet against God?  For all eternity? Those seem like pretty big odds, even for a value player.

I cannot tell you whether there is life after the body gives out or whether we just blink off like a burned out light bulb.  But I’m pretty sure that I don’t want to take a chance that there is no master plan to the universe and we just become used up dustballs after we die.  I’m pretty sure that the odds favor the theory of a master plan implemented by a master planner.  Maybe God doesn’t take the form we think.  Maybe there are not any pearly gates.  But there’s a lot more empirical evidence that there is a God than man-made global warming. If that were a proposition bet in a Las Vegas sports book, I’d be hard-pressed to bet money against God.  As far as betting my life for eternity, well, I’d be real nervous about that.

And, I think that Richard Nixon had it right when he told us that there’s a great silent majority out there that is more conservative socially than liberal, believes in God, and wants to do the right thing.

That explains why 30 states have laws on the books making marriage between a man and a woman that were passed in the privacy of the polling booth by that very silent majority.

Giving gay marriage the imprimatur of the state isn’t going to screw up my life.

But, if I were 20 right now, I wouldn’t want to bet on what the world might look like 50 years from now under those circumstances.

Normalizing Sin And The Decadent Society

Gay Protest SC Normalizing Sin And the Decadent Society

A keynote is defined as being “the first and harmonically fundamental tone of a scale.”

Sustainable freedom and a free people require a foundation of moral absolutes that foster biblical truth and restrain vice — the fundamental tone in the Founding of America was laid on the bedrock of “for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith … ” and the Geneva Bible.

Homosexuality is debauchery. God’s loyalty and fidelity — that guard the nation — make sustainable freedom dependent on seeking virtue. There is no “fear of God” from the Republican Party establishment today.

“Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality,Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers and slanderers, nor extortioners and robbers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.” -1 Corinthians. 6:9-10

Virtue is a key component of freedom.

What homosexuals do in their bedroom is none of my business, but — politically — someone’s values are going to reign supreme.

R.L Wing, analyzing the principles of Sun Tzu, observed: “The weapons were quite different, but the armies were nearly as large and the devastation and human suffering just as profound. Today, the chariots and crossbows are gone, but the conflict, throughout the world, is exactly the same: a struggle for ideological supremacy and control of resources.” Ideological supremacy — the moral against the immoral — is the current fight within the Republican Party by establishment moderates and the biblically conservative grassroot, precinct-level ground forces.

Solomon wrote, “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34)

The glory of a nation lies in its righteousness, not in its wealth or military might. The key to maintaining sustainable freedom is righteousness. Moral character is what preserves the nation and guarantees freedom.

Freedom always faces a fundamental moral challenge; virtue is a key component of freedom. Taking the present Republican leadership amoral route — in the end — will destroy the Republican Party, initially, and then vie for America’s freedom.

It will take nothing short of a cultural revolution for biblical arguments to be heard, much less to become material to the debate. Homosexual desire and marriage is unnatural and — more so — is a symptom of advanced cultural decay and precursor to the collapse of the Republican Party and the nation.

Os Guinness’ A Free People’s Suicide - a must read – says “Freedom requires truth and virtue. Arnold Toynbee’s repeated observation, ‘History shows that all great nations commit suicide’. But the theme of this book owes far more to Abraham Lincoln’s expressly American understanding of the challenge: ‘if destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.’”

Iowa Republican Party Chairman A.J. Spiker did a great service to America in his letter to RNC leadership:

Fellow RNC Members,

While inclusion is important, elected Republicans (we all know the most recent example) and National/State Party leaders who embrace so-called same sex marriage are doing grave harm to our Party and the whole of society.

Lets not forget, so-called same sex marriage is an irreconcilable difference with the Republican Party’s largest constituency… Committed Christians.

Take care,

The RNC Establishment — most likely — will have to decide which constituency is more paramount to them: the estimated 1.5% “GLBT 4.3M gay, lesbian, or bisexual,” or the estimated 44% “born again/ Evangelical 125M”constituency.

Immigration, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the environment, global warming, etc. can be discussed, and good people can — and do — disagree. Homosexual marriage and abortion are inviolable.

The mark of a decadent society is the exaltation and normalization of sin — which leads to the death.
