Wow! The President’s ideology of fairness and a level playing field is running amok in this 2012 election campaign against his opponent. Perhaps his administration has been influenced by the witches, goblins, and devils prematurely celebrating a trickster’s Halloween.
Though few in number, Chicago journalist Walter Jacobsen offers the president a “spade for his BS digging” while the Washington Post and others take the president to task for dazzling the electorate with bull and political doublespeak Native Americans might say is cow “hoya.”
Legendary newsman Tom Brokaw reports that it’s about time the “president accept responsibility” for the economy, . . . and the mess of his theoretic baby. And yes, his baby is long overdue for a diaper change.
“It’s not what we don’t know that gives us trouble; it’s what we know that ain’t so, so long as it is happening to someone else,” according to Democrat”Will Rogers.”
Why is Mitt Romney unlikeable? Easy . . . he scares the sorry butts off the opposition.
As one voter said: He is drop-dead, collar-ad handsome with gracious, statesmanlike aura, . . .the likes of every central casting’s #1 choice Commander-in-Chief. Now tell me he doesn’t appeal to women.
How often do we find a candidate with no scandals or skeletons? Perhaps he is perceived too square for today’s America. He represents the exceptionalism of the Constitution-bound, free-market America of our forefathers . . .not the sociopolitical assertions of Mid-Eastern and European ways of life.
Pundits hate him because of his wealth. Probably because he earned those green-backs himself. He didn’t marry into it, and what he inherited was fully donated to charity.
Since when does working for your dream and taking risks become an unpalatable societal crime? The only place I know of is on the Hill and in the White House.
President Obama boasts a 90% success rate, while Mitt Romney “has” a verifiable 80% turnaround rate of Domino’s, Sealy, Brookstone, the Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, and Home Depot Supply to mention a few.
Presidents don’t get points for trying. Democrat Will Rogers in his philosophical humor questioned and answered himself: “. . .who started the idea that a President must be a Politician instead of a Business man. A Politician can’t run any other kind of business. So there is no reason why he can run the U.S. That’s the biggest single business in the World. . .”
I choose to believe, as Senator Marco Rubio does, that we are people who have made it and people who will make it. This election is a ” liberty” choice about who we are and what we stand for, not the crippling wants of an American society.
For it is We the People who are the true treasures of America with a distinctive human desire to be free and create our own destinies, known and unknown, unencumbered by the leftist ideologies of BIG government. And that’s the unfiltered story!
