Friday’s Gallup poll showing that 60% of Americans don’t trust the media got me thinking.

The reprehensible dialogue of two “reporters” caught plotting Mitt Romney’s demise on open mic exemplifies the toxic media climate any Republican candidate faces, especially anyone opposing Barack Obama, the media’s darling.

Here are for your review precepts of the Fifties Journalism standards which I was taught as an undergrad in the University of Illinois’s School of Journalism.  Perhaps, a review of what passed for journalism back then can put into perspective what Republican candidates, and especially Conservatives, must overcome to be elected now.

The overarching rule was “The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword.”  I still can remember my news reporting professor holding up his pen to the class to caution us to use wisely the lethal weapon we soon would own!  Always tell the truth, he said.  Close to this rule was never editorialize in news stories.  Advocating an agenda for certain candidates or policies was considered so offensive that it ranked up there along  with grammatical errors for bringing down the wrath of an “F” grade on us would-be cub reporters!  Writing the inverted pyramid news story involved getting the five “Ws” up early in the story lead, namely Who, What, When, Where, Why, and even How if possible.  We were taught to write clearly and objectively and to give the reader what was needed to make informed opinions and correct decisions.  No shading of facts was allowed!  The term “Political Correctness” was not needed back then.

More rules included never getting too close to your subjects and never ignoring rumors.  “There’s truth in every rumor.  Keep digging,” I remember being told.  Always source and attribute; be careful how you use your pen because “You can kill a reputation or a life with it” were ethical teachings we were told.

“Be objective” was a principle of journalism that today is so ignored that I feel legal action will be the only device that can be used to require our liberal media from attacking the GOP.  How can we trust a profession today that purportedly is 90% liberal, Democrat Party in political persuasion?

Also, we were warned: “When in doubt, don’t”— in other words, avoid running with a story until you are certain of its facts.  Avoiding certain Red Flag words, reviewing what we had written, and “Nothing can replace being there, seeing for yourself, asking questions at the scene,” were drummed into us.

Learning how to interview and how to be gracious, especially at crime and accident scenes was very important to avoid hijacking witnesses who may not be in the best of positions to speak honestly or without emotion just seems to me to be basic human kindness.  But how much fairness do we see in today’s boiling media caldron?     “Never betray or reveal a source,” was a steadfast rule of course, as the First Amendment protection every journalist still touts.  But rubbing elbows with your movers and shakers at in crowd cocktail parties may beg some questions.

We had to take courses in ethics, and we had to discuss and defend positions we took.  Just how many ethical examples of principled reporting do we notice today?  I have no respect for reporters or their editors or producers who order dumpster diving into the Palin family history or who now are going to Mexico to dig up dirt on ancient Romney family ancestors just to smear another GOP candidate who opposes Barack Obama!  Refusing to vet Obama while at the same time lacerating Romney is both despicable and unprincipled!  Having respect was a reporter’s biggest cachet back in the day.

According to reports, the Islamist animals who murdered J. Christopher Stevens, our Ambassador to Libya, sodomized him before, while, and after he was killed. They followed the same formula they used when they murdered Gadhafi. To these 7th century “warriors”, doing such things shows the extreme disrespect they have for the male victims. In their half- witted minds, this “manly” act makes the victim a woman in death and in life after death. They are misogynist skunks who hate women because of their own sick feelings of inadequacy.  Hillary Clinton should have known these things but apparently never bothered herself with details.

The blood of J. Christopher Stevens, a man who happened to be gay but had a love of America that compelled him to step forward to work for our nation, is absolutely on the hands of Hillary Clinton as the fake she is and Barack Obama for the incompetent he is.

Clinton is a woman with no particular qualifications, except that she “took one for the team” and allowed herself to be publicly humiliated by her sexually depraved husband.

Because she “put ice on her lip” and sung “Stand by your man” on 60 Minutes, the poster boy for degradation of women was elected and reelected to the presidency. The Democrats who are a Party that rewards degenerates have been thanking Hillary ever since she and her husband sold their last pardon on January 20, 2001.

We know her career path.  She pushed aside all qualified and loyal New York State Democrats (Nita Lowey comes to mind) so she could run in the deepest Blue State that suited her fancy without a difficult race.  She tried to be the president but was out- “race-carded” as her pervert husband put it.

To stay in the public’s eye, she accepted the position of  Secretary of State and has done an horrifically bad job at it. That happens when being a good Democrat is the only consideration for appointment to a position of high trust and importance.

For reasons known only to her, she successfully urged Barack Obama to help the Muslim Brotherhood overthrow the American-friendly Mubarack government in Egypt and help the Brotherhood kill Gadhafi in Libya.

Then she installed a man she knew to be gay (she said she knew him well) as the Ambassador to a country controlled by vicious gay-hating animals. She did this to win favor with America’s gay community so they would keep contributing to the Democrat Party. Now Chris Stevens has been killed and sodomized by the people Hillary Clinton helped put in power throughout the Middle East. Any questions?

Dems Warned Against Certifying Obama Eligible For White House

Attorney Larry Klayman has warned Robert Bauer, the General Council to the Democrat National Committee, that members of the “Democrat Party or state elections officials certifying Obama’s eligibility for the 2012 election could become the targets of election-fraud charges.”

Klayman–the founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch–bases his warning on the fact that Hawaii State Registrar Alvin Onaka refused to verify to Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett “the birth facts for Barack Hussein Obama that are claimed on the birth certificate posted on the White House website…”  In addition, Onaka “undeniably failed to verify that the [birth certificate] image posted at whitehouse.gov ‘is a true and accurate representation of the original record in [the DOH] files.’”

On March 30th, Secretary Bennett filled out a standard request form, asking that Onaka “verify as true” that Barack Hussein Obama was born on August 4th, 1961; that he was born in Honolulu, Oahu; that his mother was Stanley Ann Dunham and his father Barack Hussein Obama. Two months later, Onaka wrote back that “a birth certificate is on file with the Department of Health indicating that Barack Hussein Obama II was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.” But the Secretary refused to verify the date of birth, the name of the mother or father, or even the gender of the baby!

Why would Onaka admit that a birth certificate is indeed on file, yet refuse to verify much of the information that certificate ostensibly contains? According to Klayman, “…the only legal reason for Onaka to not verify those facts is if he can’t legally do so.” That is, “… the record itself must not have ‘probative value.’”

And as for the long-form posted on the White House website, Klayman says, “…the only legal reason for not verifying that the posted long-form ‘is a true and accurate representation of the original record in [the DOH] files’ is if it is not.” “There is no other plausible explanation.”

What does all of this mean? Klayman explains that “the only Hawaii statute rendering completed (and therefore numbered) birth certificates to be non-legally binding…applies to ALTERED or LATE birth certificates.” According to Onaka’s written response to Bennett, Obama’s birth certificate is indeed numbered. Therefore, as Onaka refused to legally verify the “facts” contained in the certificate or verify that the long-form “is a true and accurate representation of the original record,” it can only mean the Obama birth certificate is either altered or late, as defined by Hawaii statute.

Altered or late birth certificates cannot “stand on their own” as evidence of anything! They have no legally probative value and can therefore not be used as proof even of an individual’s age, never mind the natural born citizen status of a candidate for the nation’s highest office!  Moreover, altered and late Hawaii birth certificates and copies have the word ALTERED or LATE prominently stamped on them. It’s altogether possible that Obama “created” his birth certificate online in order to hide such an obvious and troublesome imprint from the American public.

According to Hawaii statue, Obama could only correct the situation by presenting the totality of his birth records along with all existing corroboration to a proper judicial or administrative body. Such a body would then weigh all existing evidence according to “legal evidentiary standards.” Needless to say, Obama has no intention of following such a procedure.

Four years ago, the Democrat National Committee refused to certify that Barack Obama was “legally qualified to serve under the provisions of the United States Constitution.” This year, Larry Klayman is strongly advising Democrat attorneys to disavow Obama altogether! It will be interesting to see what Robert Bauer and Co decide.

Americans have long been aware that the political left in America wants certain citizens to pay for the health care of certain other citizens through confiscatory tax collection. Famously promiscuous Democrat shill Sandra Fluke embraced the idea that responsible taxpayers should foot the bill for irresponsible leeches to have consequence-free sex.

The Democrat Party’s own platform called for abortion-on-demand, whether or not the expectant murderer is able to afford the “medical procedure.”

Still, as abhorrent as I find their position, people are entitled to differ about what they think government (translation: you and me) should provide in a free society. Allow me to emphasize the word “free” because a Massachusetts federal judge’s recent decision somehow fabricated the right for convicted murderers to receive taxpayer-funded sex change operations while incarcerated.

Convicted of the 1990 murder of his wife, the inmate apparently decided his life sentence would be more enjoyable with a pair of breasts and a vagina.

I can’t even really blame a convict for requesting ludicrous benefits while in prison, if for no other reason than to get a respite from the monotonous daily life behind bars. What I cannot rationalize, though, is the bleeding heart judge responsible for deciding an individual is actually entitled to frivolous and expensive procedures such as a sex change operation.

In the judge’s ruling, he wrote the murderer should receive the operation, calling it the “only adequate treatment” for his “serious medical need.”

Removing and replacing genitalia is now a serious medical need? Out here in the free world, insurers typically refuse coverage for such procedures, identifying them as elective rather than an emergency.

Speaking on his own behalf in an Associated Press interview, the prospective “woman” said his fellow inmates “who have bad hearts, hips or knees have surgery to repair those things,” adding his “medical needs are no less important or more important” than theirs.

I’m not suggesting we deny all medical treatment to prisoners; but when a free person, funding his or her own insurance, is not covered for an elective procedure, I am offended to think that same taxpayer must pay for a killer to receive it instead.

Liberal media outlets sought to portray the judge’s decision as a step forward for their inclusive worldview and rushed to print the glowing endorsement of a spokesperson for the Transgender Law Center in San Fransisco. A San Fransisco-based law firm with the word “transgender” in its name is in favor of this decision? Color me surprised!

The vast majority of individuals outside of that particular law firm seem to be echoing Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown’s assertion that providing the surgery constitutes “an outrageous abuse of taxpayer dollars.”

Karl Rove might have really blown it this time by suggesting that Republican U.S. Senate candidate Todd Akin be murdered. He made the statement to a room full of high-dollar donors during an exclusive breakfast at the Republican National Convention. Businessweek reported that Rove was explaining to the group how American Crossroads, Rove’s super-PAC, would persuade undecided voters in swing states to vote against Barack Obama. While discussing House and Senate races, Rove made the statement “We should sink Todd Akin. If he’s found mysteriously murdered, don’t look for my whereabouts!”

Calls for Rove’s resignation are filtering in from conservative leaders, and it’s high time as far as I’m concerned. He should have been outed long before now. I wrote a book entitled “Memoirs of a Community Organizer from Hawai’i” and listed Rove as my “Public Enemy No. 1” on page 209 in the photo section. His picture is displayed among others in my “Rogues Gallery” that includes colorful characters like doper-toker Hawai’i Gov. Neil Abercrombie and Bobby Titcomb, who was arrested last year in a prostitute sting in Waikiki. Bobby is rumored to be Obama’s supplier of “fish and poi” (code for marijuana and cocaine) to the White House. Being from Hawai’i myself, I find that “rumors” tend to be the facts that liberal newspapers won’t print.

Dr. Chiyome Fukino, former Department of Health director, and Lt. Gov. Brian Schatz also appear in my Rogues Gallery for their part in the massive cover-up of fraud pertaining to Obama’s birth record or lack thereof in the HDOH and the shenanigans that went on between Schatz when he was Chairman of the Democrat Party in Hawai’i and the Elections Commission. The conspiracy defrauding every American citizen implicates Nancy Pelosi specifically and ties the entire Democrat-controlled Hawai’i government to election fraud.

By now, most of America knows that the birth certificate posted on the WhiteHouse.gov website by former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs and claimed by Obama to be authentic is instead a forgery. Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, AZ commissioned a team of detectives to investigate and put the matter to rest, hoping it would exonerate the president; but as lead investigator Mike Zullo stated, “The evidence kept leading us elsewhere.”

Like so many others, Sheriff Arpaio was labeled a “birther” and a “racist” among other crude names by the left intended to marginalize and silence those who would speak out against Obama. Problem is, there was even more vitriol from the right. I’m talking about the “establishment” right, those who wanted Obama’s secrets kept hidden because the corruption in the political process was so deep that to expose Obama would be the first domino to fall; and the collapsing would not stop until the ruling elite, the Bilderbergs, were exposed as the puppet masters that hold all the strings.

Rove was the “architect” of George W. Bush’s successful presidential campaign, and his handiwork is evident in all the tactics used against Romney’s opponents and Constitutional conservatives like Akin who won’t tow the establishment line. The same tactics were used by Obama’s Chicago Machine. Essentially, they killed off the competition, and that is what Romney’s campaign has been doing all along. The GOP is no better than the DNC, and I believe most people can see that now and believe, like me, that a third party is going to emerge. Probably not before November, but the world will see a firestorm in 2014 when all 435 members of the House and one-third of the Senate will be up for reelection. The RNC has poked a stick in the eye of liberty-loving patriots, and now the sleeping giant is not only awake; we are breathing fire.

Karl Rove has been especially vindictive to we the people of the eligibility movement, calling us “birthers” and “fringe” or saying that we have “a problem with a black man in the White House.” He mimics the same talking points spewed at us by everyone who would like us to shut up and go away because to reveal the truth strikes at the heart of their agenda: complete governmental control, the Constitution be damned. After an especially nasty tirade against “birthers” and announcing that Obama was eligible to go on the 2012 ballot, I emailed Rove explaining the difference between “natural born Citizen” and “native born Citizen.” I didn’t go into the fact that Obama has not even proven his “native born” status since the only record he has produced is a proven forgery. I didn’t expect an answer, so you can imagine my astonishment when I received one. Rove was short and to the point. “You’re wrong!” “Obama’s was born in the United States and his mother was an American citizen so he is eligible.”

The Congressional Research Service (CRS) provides all the talking points to counter eligibility claims. Written by left-wing lawyers, the memorandums coming from the service are fatally flawed. So, too, are the eight or so attempts in Congress to change the meaning of natural born citizen to legitimize a particular candidate who had only one American citizen parent. The proposed bills all failed, and curiously, they were all proposed during the years 2004-2008 as Barack Hussein Obama rose to political power. Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) was a co-sponsor of one of the bills to rewrite history, and he shares a spot next to Karl Rove on page 209 of my book’s Rogues Gallery.

When Karl Rove speaks, everyone listens. FOX News listens to him and shuts down any discourse relating to Obama’s ineligibility to be president of the United States. The RNC listened to him and changed the rules of the convention to hand-pick delegates supporting Mitt Romney, disenfranchising Constitutional conservatives including Ron Paul and TEA party supporters. The rules change will make it especially hard for Constitutionalists to ever have a voice in the GOP. Why would the RNC cut their own throat like that? I think I know the answer, and Karl Rove is the common denominator in the ‘ruling class’ of politics and media. I believe that Rove gets his marching orders from the consensus of members of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderberg group.

Novelist Bruce Colville said that “Withholding information is the essence of tyranny. Control of the flow of information is the tool of the dictatorship.” Rove, to me, is the GOP’s dictatorship tool to destroy the Constitution and rewrite the Bill of Rights. Constitutionalists know this and have been fighting hard for a breakthrough to the Republican Party. It’s evident now that Constitutional Conservatives have been thrown out of the party. The convention built the latest brick wall, and Rove cemented the mortar, as he has at every opportunity to silence anyone who challenges the establishment’s power.
