Obama’s Planned Trip To Israel: Good Idea Or Not?

Obama Negotiating Strategy Israel SC Obamas Planned Trip To Israel: Good Idea Or Not?

WND has an interesting article that they just posted, titled “Iran Terror Threat To Obama’s Israel Trip.” It starts off stating that there is information that the Iran-backed “Islamic Jihad” terrorist organization may attempt to disrupt Obama’s visit there next month. The article goes on to state that there is no known threat against Obama himself or any U.S. targets. Really? I find that impossible to believe.

I care to differ for a whole lot of reasons. First of all, al-Qaeda documents that were gathered at the home of Osama bin-Laden (when Seal Team Six killed him) revealed that bin-Laden had ordered that Obama be killed while flying in Air Force One, along with General Petraeus.

The plan that bin-Laden ordered was to wait to shoot Air Force One down with a ground to surface weapon when both Obama and Petraeus were aboard at the same time. The al-Qaeda leader theorized that with Obama dead (and Joe Biden being as inept as he is), America would disintegrate and no longer be a world power. General Petraeus was to be killed since he lead the insurgency in Afghanistan.

The entire world knows that Obama, being a Muslim, has a strong dislike (more of a hatred, I believe) for Jews, as well as Israel. That became apparent numerous times when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House and Obama disrespected him (such as when he got up from the meeting and said that he was going to have dinner with his family.)

The world also knows that Obama wants Israel to return to their pre-1967 borders and to give up the land that they won in that war and return it to the Palestinians. I do not see that ever happening, since it would literally cut Israel in half and they would not be able to defend their borders. One only had to see Obama’s body language to know that there was little love between himself and Netanyahu.

Allowing Palestinians to create a state is one thing; expecting Israel to return land that was won with the loss of its blood is quite another. Obama wants the Muslim world to be dominated by Sunnis and to be in full and complete control of the Muslim Brotherhood. He armed the Libyan rebels to overthrow Gaddafi, which they did; and Libya is now under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood. Obama was instrumental in allowing Egypt to be controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood, and he is anxiously waiting for Syria to fall under the Brotherhood as well. I have little doubt that when Syria falls, Jordan will be the next target of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Obama’s drone war, killing al-Qaeda’s leaders along with innocent Muslims who got caught up as collateral damage, will not go unpunished. And I have little doubt that is something that al-Qaeda will attempt to obtain revenge for. What better than to take their revenge on Obama (and his drone war along with the killing of their leader bin-Laden) by shooting down Air Force One with one of the hundreds of thousands of ground-to-air missiles floating throughout the Middle East?

If that were to happen, that could be the beginning of World War Three, especially if al-Qaeda blames that horrific event on the Israelis. Obama’s administration is delusional if they think that Israel will give up the lands that they won in a war. If that is what they expect Israel to do, why should the United Sates not be expected to return California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas to Mexico? What’s the difference? After all, both areas of land were won in wars.

I personally believe that with al-Qaeda being as well-organized and dedicated to their twisted beliefs, Obama would risk starting World War Three by visiting Israel (or for that matter any country throughout the Middle-East) during these extremely volatile times.

Israeli PM Netanyahu Scrambles To Keep His Job

Netanyahu 3 SC Israeli PM Netanyahu scrambles to keep his job

JERUSALEM (Officialwire) — A badly weakened Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu scrambled Wednesday to keep his job by extending his hand to a new centrist party that advocates a more earnest push on peacemaking with the Palestinians after Israel’s parliamentary election produced a stunning deadlock.

The results defied forecasts that Israel’s next government would veer sharply to the right at a time when the country faces mounting international isolation, growing economic problems and regional turbulence. While that opens the door to unexpected movement on peace efforts, a coalition joining parties with dramatically divergent views on peacemaking, the economy and the military draft could just as easily be headed for gridlock — and perhaps a short life.

Israeli media said that with nearly all votes counted, each bloc had 60 of parliament’s 120 seats. Commentators said Netanyahu, who called early elections three months ago expecting easy victory, would be tapped to form the next government because the rival camp drew 12 of its 60 seats from Arab parties that traditionally are excluded from coalition building.

A surprising strong showing by a political newcomer, the centrist Yesh Atid, or There is a Future, party, in Tuesday’s vote turned pre-election forecasts on their heads and dealt a setback to Netanyahu. Yesh Atid’s leader, Yair Lapid, has said he would only join a government committed to sweeping economic changes and a serious push to resume peace talks with the Palestinians, which have languished throughout Netanyahu’s four-year tenure.

The results were not official, and the final bloc breakdowns could shift before the central elections committee finishes its tally early Thursday. With the blocs so evenly divided, there remains a remote possibility that Netanyahu would not form the next government, even though both he and Lapid have called for the creation of a broad coalition.

Israel Leader Says Iran Key Issue, Not Settlements

benjamin netanyahu Israel leader says Iran key issue, not settlements

Two days before national elections, Israel’s prime minister on Sunday shrugged off international criticism of Israeli settlement construction, charging instead that Iran’s suspect nuclear program the real threat to regional security.

Speaking to his Cabinet, Benjamin Netanyahu said he had told a group of visiting U.S. senators over the weekend that “the problem is not building … The problem in the Middle East is Iran’s attempt to build nuclear weapons … This was, and remains, the main mission facing not only myself and Israel, but the entire world.”

Obama Has Never Been A Friend To Israel And Never Will Be

Obama Negotiating Strategy Israel SC Obama Has Never Been a Friend to Israel and Never Will Be

The reelection of Barack Obama will prove to be a painful reminder of having been lied to and fooled for many of his supporters. The young voters who sold their futures to vote for whatever they imagined Obama to be will learn hard lessons. The conservatives who stayed home to make some kind of statement of their discontent will be taught hard lessons about the consequences of elections. Those who consider themselves supporters of Israel, who willingly put aside their judgment of obvious facts, are learning how foolish they were.

They  voted for a man they should have recognized as an enemy of Israel’s very existence—not just her right to this or that benefit as an established country, but her very right to exist—and will find their lessons about trusting the untrustworthy Barack Obama very bitter indeed.

Their fantasy worldview of American/Israeli relations under Obama will soon be shattered.

During the past year the signs of disrespect and antagonism toward Israel and her leader Benjamin Netanyahu were abundant. Obama’s reelection has changed nothing.

When given a chance to react to Israel’s battle in Gaza, Obama issued a routine pro forma statement of support, but hamstrung the Jewish State by warning her not to involve ground troops regardless of the circumstances.

Of course the Obama Administration opposed the United Nation’s giving an upgraded status to the Palestinian Authority, but that could easily be construed as support for the “Oslo Accords” fashioned by the Clinton Administration. Nevertheless, Obama did nothing to persuade our allies, especially in Europe to join in opposition to the upgrade.

Where was the media outrage at the defeat of American and Israeli interests regarding the upgrade of Palestine to non-member state status? Why didn’t Barack Obama instruct Ambassador Susan Rice to put  his personal prestige on the table during the debate over that vote?

The State Department’s displeasure with the construction of over 950 new housing units on Israeli soil, which Hillary Clinton deems them to be offensive, is another subtle but genuine sign that nothing has changed and supporters of Israel should not trust Barack Obama to safeguard the well-being of our only ally in the Middle East.

Simply stated : nothing has changed. Obama is no friend of Israel. He never has been and never will be.   Those who love Israel but voted for Obama were lied to and fooled.

Predicting The Biggest Stories Of 2013, Part 2

Boehner Crying Predicting the Biggest Stories of 2013, Part 2

Each December I gaze into my crystal ball and predict what I believe will be the top 10 stories of the coming year. I almost never get these right but they’re fun to speculate about nevertheless. A year from now we’ll take a look back and see how well I did, unless I didn’t do well at all. In that case we will pretend this never happened for the sake of preserving my fragile self esteem. In case you missed part one, make sure to check out last week’s column for numbers 10 through six.

5. Green Bay Packers win Super Bowl

Look for the Packers to get healthy and hot down the stretch, and carry that momentum into the postseason—just as they did when they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl two years ago. This time the Packers will beat the Denver Broncos, 28-24, in a dream matchup of future Hall of Famer quarterbacks featuring Aaron Rodgers versus Peyton Manning.

4. Israel Finally Strikes Iran

It’s been rumored and expected for years since the world first became aware of Iran’s desire to join the list of nuclear-armed nations. With Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud Party poised to win big in January’s Israeli elections, and no friend to Israel Barack Obama back in the White House, Netanyahu will finally have the political clout and sense of urgency to preemptively strike the terrorist regime by year’s end. What happens next is anybody’s guess.

3. Rand Paul Goes Mainstream

In contrast to likely 2016 GOP presidential rivals Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan polishing their establishment credentials (see last week’s piece for more), I predict the Kentucky Senator will spend the year building his street cred within the mainstream of the conservative movement. He already endorsed Mitt Romney for president after he secured the nomination when his father did not, and Rand will lead off the New Year by going to Israel with influential evangelical activist and organizer David Lane. Remember that one of the largest obstacles in the way of his father extending his coalition of young conservatives and libertarians into conventional social conservatives was his foreign policy views. While others run and hide from the social issues, look for Rand to continue to be one of the most outspoken personhood voices in Washington, D.C. as well. With an eye towards 2016, Rand will continue building relationships within the conservative movement his father never bothered to while maintaining much of his father’s domestic agenda.

2. U.S. Supreme Court Upholds Prop 8

There are a lot of nervous values voters and Christian organizations concerned about the news the U.S. Supreme Court is going to take on the challenge to Proposition 8, which defended marriage in California (there’s only one kind of marriage, so I don’t call anything else but “marriage” marriage). Even some anti-marriage Republicans like former Bush Solicitor General Theodore Olsen have been trying to engineer a Roe v. Wade for marriage for years now.

Considering the makeup of the court, where there are really only three judges on the court who actually have respect for the original intent of the Constitution when considering their opinions, they have good reason to be. However, after knee-capping the Constitution in last summer’s Arizona immigration and Obamacare rulings, I predict the politically-motivated Chief Justice John Roberts will engineer an outcome in this case to avoid a potential Constitutional crisis. For the Supreme Court to assume it has the authority to nullify a duly enacted law from the United States Congress (signed by President Clinton) and enshrined in 31 state constitutions would be an unprecedented abuse of power and arrogance, even by the contemporary court’s standard.

Several of those states would challenge that breathtaking over-reach immediately either in court or their own legislatures, because if the court can tell a majority of the states it can’t determine its own policy on this matter than essentially any attempt at state sovereignty on any issue is null and void from the outset (Second Amendment, anyone?). It would also touch off a movement to protect religious freedom in each of those states as well (and thus another Constitutional fight).

That’s why when it’s all said and done I suspect the majority will write an opinion very sympathetic to homosexuality in general – perhaps even urging for federal legislation like ENDA to be passed – but in favor of upholding Prop 8 nonetheless. Look for the court to say such emotional issues should be decided by the political process so the people’s voice can be heard and not imposed outside of it by judges, similar to what a federal court in Hawaii recently said. I also predict it will be none other than Roberts himself, who will author that majority opinion.

1. John Boehner will be ousted as House Speaker

I don’t think there’s enough courage within the Republican caucus to find 16 members willing to vote “present” in January, thus denying Boehner the Speaker’s gavel right away. But by the end of the year the frustration with his lackluster leadership will be overwhelming, and Republicans concerned about another 2014 bloody primary season, similar to 2010 and 2012, will respond to the demands of conservative leaders who have grown tired of being sold out by the GOP.

Obama’s Jewish Supporters Of Israel Ought To Watch The Hagel Nomination Carefully

Obama Negotiating Strategy Israel SC Obama’s Jewish supporters of Israel ought to watch the Hagel nomination carefully

Throughout the recent presidential campaign, people like Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Ira Forman had to work overtime to cover up Barack Obama’s hostility toward Israel. They knew their co-religionists were weary of supporting a man who had so often actually gone out of his way to show his contempt for the Jewish State – the only democracy in the Middle East.  There was the sharp snub of Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Obama’s cozy relationship with black clergy who at times foamed at their mouth with open hatred for Israel.

Now that he is safely reelected, Obama has done nothing to allay the fears of his Jewish supporters that he has not changed his stance toward Israel one bit. The latest affront to liberal Jewish sensibilities is the news that the front-runner for appointment as Obama’s new Secretary of Defense is former Nebraska Republican Senator Chuck Hagel.

Hagel has called for direct talks with Iran without preconditions, meaning that everything including the security of Israel would be fair game. Hagel also has strong ties to Deutsche Bank’s Americas Advisory Board. Deutsche Bank is being investigated for helping Iran violate the oil and energy embargo that is supposed to keep her in check until the world figures out how to keep Tehran from nuking Israel one of these days.

Investigators believe that not only has Deutsche Bank helped Iran circumvent the effeteness of the world’s embargoes but has also helped Sudan and other “under sanction” countries who are declared enemies of America and Israel.

A source in the US Senate expressed skepticism that Hagel would be confirmed as Secretary of Defense because “Somebody who willingly stands by as an official of a company helping the Iranian regime acquire nuclear weapons capabilities cannot credibly stand up as the secretary of defense for a country that may need to go to war with Iran.”

In any other Administration in American history, this would sound like a reasonable end to talk of Hagel’s appointment. But this is Barack Obama, a man who has repeatedly expressed his contempt for Israel we are talking about.  Somehow, it doesn’t sound like a definitive end to this process.

Supporters of Israel, whether Obama voters or not, ought to be worried.

Did Obama Just Lie To Israel Again?

Obama Negotiating Strategy Israel SC Did Obama Just Lie To Israel Again?

Is the Gaza cease fire agreed to by Benjamin Netanyahu based on a lie told to the PM by Barack Obama?

Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi should be forever beholding to Barack Hussein Obama. After all, Obama’s calculated ouster of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarek gave Morsi the job of ruling the Middle East’s most populous nation. And ruling is the right word as Morsi has granted himself both dictatorial power and immunity from prosecution by Egypt’s courts.

I “may take the necessary actions and measures to protect the country and the goals of the revolution,” writes the Egyptian president in Article 6 of his power grab decree. Morsi also becomes the “Sovereign of the State” who can “claim exception against all rules.”  (There exists a similar situation in the United States, though it has yet to be put in writing.)

Fortunately, no one in Egypt need worry about the true intentions of their self-appointed pharaoh. After all, Morsi has assured Egyptians that his new dictatorship is only a temporary state of affairs “until a new constitution can be drafted and a new parliament elected.”  As a dedicated member of the Muslim Brotherhood, surely he can be taken at his word!

But upon release of his decree on Egyptian television, protests and rioting began throughout the nation. For although Morsi won the “democratically held” election earlier this year, even the massive voter fraud reportedly engineered by the Muslim Brotherhood could only provide the new president a very narrow margin of victory over the competition.

So why would Morsi agree to the placement of United States soldiers in Egypt’s Sinai region? After all, he’ll win few Egyptian friends by inviting American troops into the country and certainly none among his Muslim Brotherhood peers. Yet according to Israel’s Debka, during a conversation with P.M. Benjamin Netanyahu, “Barack Obama personally pledged to start deploying US troops in the Egyptian Sinai next week,” (that is, yesterday or today!)  And Obama obviously needed Morsi’s permission to do so. In fact, it was only this promise that convinced Netanyahu to accept the cease fire as Obama guaranteed American soldiers would halt the smuggling of arms through Sinai to Hamas in Gaza.

But did Obama lie to Netanyahu? According to Egypt’s Daily News, “there is no truth to what has been published on Israeli websites on plans for the deployment of US troops in the Sinai as part of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza between Hamas and Israel.” Is this statement by the Egyptian armed forces true? Did Netanyahu lie about what he was told by Obama?

Clearly, something is going on here. Debka is not the sort of news provider to make up a story, least of all one of such import. Would Obama lie? That question answers itself. But what would he hope to gain unless it be time for Hamas to replenish its stock of weapons through the usual smuggling routes in the Sinai?  Naturally, this would necessitate a prior agreement between Obama and Morsi, indicating the sort of intrigue and betrayal of which both are certainly capable.

This will be a very interesting story to watch during the coming days. For it’s a safe bet that Barack Obama is more concerned with keeping Mohamed Morsi’s friendship and cooperation than Benjamin Netanyahu’s!

No Matter What, God’s Still With Israel

Israel flag SC No Matter What, Gods Still With Israel

The leader of a Messianic Jewish ministry says even though American voters decided to abandon Israel on November 6, God will not abandon the Jewish state during this current or any future struggle.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that Israel will no longer tolerate Hamas terrorists launching indiscriminate rocket attacks on innocent Israeli citizens.

But Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries, says the re-election of Barack Hussein Obama has sent a clear message to Israel: America is not going to help you.

What November Means To Me

American Flags SC What November Means to Me

I sit perplexed at the inability of the American populace to fully engage in the realm of politics. At no other time in our history have we faced an election that will shape our country as we do now. Understandably, many are focused on themselves rather than the future state of domestic and international policy and are only interested in the “here and now”; but it’s tantamount that we all grasp the collision course our country is on.

Inaccurately, I believe, President Obama is labeled as a communist or socialist; on the contrary, President Obama is neither. While a few of his policies may dabble in Marxist philosophy, his intent is to fully disperse American money to the rest of the world. Let me reiterate this to my leftist friends who support the Occupy Wall Street movement, who honestly believe they are the ninety-nine percent—you are wrong. President Obama sees all Americans as the one percentile, and we “owe” the rest of the world our prosperity. Author Dinesh D’Souza portrays this president as someone who despises colonialism and believes, accurately in some cases, that America’s wealth was built on the backs of the labor and resources of other countries. As a result, he is of the opinion that our wealth should be given back to areas of the world such as Africa, parts of Asia, and Latin America.

His world-wide apology tour was an attempt to begin recompense, of sorts, to many of those areas. Recall his speech in Egypt speaking about our arrogance and intrusions into sovereign nations. Look no further than his disinterest in engaging Benjamin Netanyahu, who was here in the United States during the recent United Nations conference. President Obama’s opinion is that the Jews are “invaders” and do not belong in the Middle East, thereby engaging in a form of imperialistic colonialism.

Is it so far-fetched to believe, then, that our very freedoms we so fervently cling to are endangered? If our monetary worth is devalued and redistributed globally, who will we turn to in times of desperation? Rather than turn inward, I think our population will look to the government for relief, which ultimately plays into the hands of the powerful. Civil liberties could be extinguished as we begin to rely more and more on “big brother” to protect us. We are currently looking at a true unemployment rate of eleven to fifteen percent, over forty-six million Americans on food stamps, government bailouts of private institutions, and takeovers of private business. These are ugly and scary times, so I implore each of you to not only engage in the political process but show no fear in discussing these issues with those who would oppose these views and perspectives.

Will you stand for or against America in November?

The Growing Threat Of Anti-Semitism

Israel flag SC The Growing Threat of Anti Semitism

It’s no secret that Islamic totalitarian regimes like Iran have a long history of anti-Semitism, even with aspirations for genocide. But the continued dismissal of threats against Israel, as well as the reactions to Prime Minister Netanyahu’s recent UN speech, reinforces other evidence that anti-Semitism is a growing and dangerous threat, not only abroad, but also here at home.

In Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to the United Nations General Assembly last Thursday, he again pleaded with the world about the serious and impending danger posed by a nuclear Iran. It seems that as his pleas have fallen on the deaf ears of the Obama Administration and leaders of other nations in the recent past, Netanyahu decided to back up his words with a visual aid in hopes that possibly this approach would finally cause the western world to wake up to this dire reality.

The prime minister warned that Iran will have sufficient enriched uranium to make a nuclear bomb by next summer, at the latest, and urged the world to draw a clear “red line” to join him and the nation of Israel in stopping this threat. For those who have not yet seen it, Netanyahu’s visual aide consisted of a diagram outlined with the shape of a simply drawn vintage bomb with a burning fuse. The diagram was labeled to its outside from bottom to top: 1st STAGE, 2nd STAGE, and FINAL STAGE. A bold dark line was drawn from left to right across the diagram, about two-thirds of the way to its top, which was labeled with the figure 70%.

Netanyahu explained that “Iran is 70% of the way there and well into the second stage” and that it was getting “late, very late” to stop Iran, with only a few weeks into next summer by which any of the world’s nations might safely respond. These sentiments further supported his statements from earlier in September when he said that “The world tells Israel, wait, there’s still time. And I say, wait for what? Wait until when? Those in the international community who refuse to put red lines before Iran don’t have a moral right to place a red light before Israel.”

Clearly, the prime minister intended to finally drive this point home Thursday as he went on to draw a bold red line across the top of his diagram, marking the beginning of the FINAL STAGE. This line represents the point in time when he hopes for a military response from the U.S., but as he has previously indicated, he would settle for support by way of official words from his allies, or at least that Israel’s allies would resolve to not hinder the nation’s national security interests.

He went on to state that “Red lines don’t lead to war, red lines prevent war. Nothing could imperil the world more than a nuclear-armed Iran.” Netanyahu continued, “I believe that faced with a clear red line, Iran will back down, and it will give more time for sanctions and diplomacy.” He also related the Iranian threat to the time of the Holocaust, saying “Those who opposed that fanaticism waited too long to act,” with the final defeat of Germany coming years later “at a terrific cost.”

This historical parallel cited by Netanyahu becomes ironic when considered alongside the response of two big players in the mainstream media. Two shameless freeze-framed photos of Netanyahu were published by Reuters and the AP which seemingly feature the prime minister engaged in a Nazi salute, of all things. Obviously, the photos simply captured a frozen moment in time during Netanyahu’s speech as he used flowing hand gestures to reinforce the points of his speech.

As was pointed out by The Weekly Standard, “Of the hundreds of professional photos taken at this speech, the AP and Reuters decided to push these onto the wire.” We need not be so naïve as to believe that these photos were coincidental or accidental. Instead of a sign of self-hating on the part of the prime minister, could this be a blatant sign of anti-Semitism in the mainstream media? It seems that they have now, very plainly answered this question in the affirmative. Practically across the board, other traditional news organizations of the mainstream media have also been quick to criticize and mock the prime minister’s speech and visuals.

We should bear in mind that all these events have transpired just days after the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in our own New York City, making statements that denied the Holocaust and described Israel as merely a “disturbance” and “noise” in the history of the Middle East that would be “eliminated.” He was also quick to make a statement that nonchalantly dismissed speculation that Israel might attack Iran’s nuclear facilities before the American presidential election in November.

He was then allowed to take the floor at the UN to unleash a hate-filled rant against the nation of Israel in which he scolded “the uncivilized Zionists” for “intimidating” Iran. That’s right. He really said it, “intimidating” Iran! His point of view seems a little backward, but realistically, Iran should probably feel a little intimidated at this point. His wacky statements continued as he dared to suggest that he hopes for the second coming of Jesus, along with that of “a perfect human being named Imam al-Mahdi” the “disappeared” 12th imam revered by Shia Muslims, who also pray for his return. It is hard to imagine that this raving lunatic is given more time and respect by the U.S. government than Prime Minister Netanyahu, leader of America’s most important and loyal ally.

It is also unthinkable that even the mainstream media would sink to the depths of intentionally depicting the leader of Israel in a way that suggests Nazi symbolism. As the mainstream media increasingly displays a sinking code of ethics in their reporting, it’s no wonder that their ratings likewise continue to sink. The growing popularity of anti-Semitism in the U.S. can also be observed in many of our workplaces, organizations, and on the Internet among everyday citizens. Many citizen bloggers joined the MSM in mocking and undermining Israel and Netanyahu, following his UN speech. To paraphrase, apparently one blogger thought our outrage at anti-Semitism toward the leader of our ally to amount to “kissing Netanyahu’s [posterior].”  It is dangerous ground for a nation to tread upon when its leaders, traditional institutions of information and private citizens begin to stand against Israel. Devoted Christians and students of the Bible in America and across the world understand this as well as anyone. They take the words of the Lord to Abraham in Genesis 12:3 very seriously, when he said of Israel, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
