Breitbart Was Right…

breitbart Breitbart Was Right...

The New York Times released a major 5,000 word investigative report exposing Obama administration appointees’ abuse of a federal program to compensate farmers who had faced discrimination. Back in 2010, however, the Times had urged for faster compensation and less bureaucratic roadblocks for the “Pigford” defendants:

The compensation effort sprang from a desire to redress what the government and a federal judge agreed was a painful legacy of bias against African-Americans by the Agriculture Department. But an examination by The New York Times shows that it became a runaway train, driven by racial politics, pressure from influential members of Congress and law firms that stand to gain more than $130 million in fees. In the past five years, it has grown to encompass a second group of African-Americans as well as Hispanic, female and Native American farmers. In all, more than 90,000 people have filed claims. The total cost could top $4.4 billion.

From the start, the claims process prompted allegations of widespread fraud and criticism that its very design encouraged people to lie: because relatively few records remained to verify accusations, claimants were not required to present documentary evidence that they had been unfairly treated or had even tried to farm. Agriculture Department reviewers found reams of suspicious claims, from nursery-school-age children and pockets of urban dwellers, sometimes in the same handwriting with nearly identical accounts of discrimination.

Yet those concerns were played down as the compensation effort grew. Though the government has started requiring more evidence to support some claims, even now people who say they were unfairly denied loans can collect up to $50,000 with little documentation.

And what a fraud it was. The government has spent over $1.33 billion compensating Hispanic and female farmers for federal loan discrimination despite a 2010 Supreme Court ruling dismissing those claims, which didn’t seem to bother the Times until now.

The Times also singled out Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, who they said was a driving force behind the settlement. Vilsack told the Times that “We weren’t just writing checks for the heck of it…People were not treated fairly, and in fact, even today there are damages as a result of folks who weren’t treated fairly.”

Since it’s the government, I suppose a little fraud is to be expected, as long as the overall intent was theoretically good.

While it’s great to see this story being reported by The New York Times, it’s a shame that Andrew Breitbart isn’t around to revel in the vindication of his efforts to expose the fraud in the Pigford settlement.

Lawsuit Tests Bloggers’ Freedom Of Speech Rights

We Will Miss Breitbart SC Lawsuit tests bloggers’ freedom of speech rights

WASHINGTON — A colleague of the late conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart is asking a federal court of appeals to throw out a defamation case brought against him by former government employee Shirley Sherrod, saying the lawsuit violates the blogger’s right to freedom of speech.

Sherrod was ousted from her job as an Agriculture Department rural development official in 2010 after Breitbart posted an edited video of Sherrod, who is black, supposedly making racist remarks. She sued Breitbart, his employee Larry O’Connor and an unnamed defendant for defamation and emotional distress after USDA officials asked her to resign and the video ignited a racial firestorm. Sherrod’s lawyers say the unnamed defendant is the person whom they believe passed the video on to Breitbart, though the person’s identity remains unknown.

Breitbart died unexpectedly a year ago, and his status in the case is unclear as his family does not appear to have notified the court of an estate that can be sued.

The case argued before the court of appeals Friday is one of the first high-profile federal lawsuits to test the freedom of speech rights of bloggers. Backed by large news organizations including the New York Times Co., Washington Post Co. and Dow Jones & Company, Inc., who have filed friend-of-the-court briefs in the case, O’Connor’s lawyers argued to have the case dismissed under a District of Columbia statute that aims to prevent the silencing of critics through lawsuits. A federal district court judge rejected their motion to dismiss, citing timing and jurisdictional issues, prompting the appeal.

The lawyers told the court of appeals that O’Connor and Breitbart, before he died, stood by the content, saying the blog post was opinion.

In The Words Of Andrew Breitbart, “There Are Two Paths”

In the words of Andrew Breitbart, “There are two paths,” which we must choose between in this election.

This Is America On The “Drug” Obama

This past weekend, I saw the late Andrew Breitbart’s swan song Occupy Unmasked that exposed the Occupy movement for what it is: an orchestrated distraction by the hard Left and unions.

In a way, it was like preaching to the choir. I already knew the mainstream media had coordinated with the hard Left (including anarchists) and unions to make “Occupy” what Time magazine called “The Story of the Year.”

I already knew that the mainstream media was hiding the rapes and murders and OD’s and rats and STDs. Hiding the fact that college students were being bussed in; and the homeless and unemployed were being paid to act as props for the real Occupiers: the SEIU and anarchists.

Yes, the same SEIU that gave $100 million to Obama in 2008. The same anarchists that are a part of Obama’s “community organizing” circle of radicals.

But seeing the film moved this knowledge from the head to the heart; that is, enabled me to feel it viscerally.

And America, that is a scary feeling. For SEIU and the radical Left want one thing and one thing only: the destruction of America. To destroy America so that their perfect socialist utopia will rise from the ashes.

What the details of this socialist utopia will be doesn’t matter.

What matters now is destruction.

It reminds me of those “This is your brain on drugs” commercials of the 1980s. A commentator shows a pan filled with hot butter and says: “This is your brain.” He then cracks an egg into the pan, where the egg sizzles and sputters, never again to return to its original form, and says “This is your brain on drugs. Any questions?”

Another term of Obama will make America’s “fundamental transformation” complete. America will go beyond the point of no return. SEIU, the radical Left, and their dear leader, Barack Hussein Obama, will finish the job of destroying this nation and remake it into something unrecognizable, never to return again to the greatest nation on earth.

God help us if they are successful.

Paul Ryan: The Last Puzzle Piece

mikiboothpaulryan Paul Ryan: The Last Puzzle Piece

Wyandotte, OK – Why would Tea Party favorites like Rep. Ryan and Allen West vote for bills like the Patriot Act and NDAA, leaving many of us scratching our heads and questioning their loyalty to the Constitution? I think I know the answer.

I met Rep. Paul Ryan when I was running for Congress at the time, challenging Blue Dog Democrat Dan Boren. It was during the last week of March 2010 in Oklahoma City. It took me several hours to get there, but for me, it was worth the drive and the price for a ticket ($100 or so). Ryan was the keynote speaker for the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs’ 2010 citizenship dinner. Ryan focused on the passage of Obamacare for most of his address, calling the bill a “travesty” and said it was up to the people to start a new American Revolution, but a peaceful one at the ballot boxes. He said, “We need men and women who go to Congress and are running to stand up and fight for what this country is all about.”

Of course, I agreed with that and felt like it was me he was talking about, but I had been disappointed only minutes before when I introduced myself and told him I was a tea party leader running against Dan Boren. He responded with, “Oh, he’s a great guy. We’re friends. You know my wife is from Oklahoma; we have relatives here.”

The photographer snapped the souvenir photo (above) and Rep. Ryan reached for the hand of the next person in line, essentially dismissing me. It wasn’t what I had expected, or maybe more accurately, what I had hoped for, but it was typical of how politicians don’t listen to nobodies.

I wasn’t a nobody to hundreds of people who knew me or at least knew my record. I gained national recognition in the Tea Party movement when I held up my husband’s and son’s birth certificates from Kapiolani Hospital in Hawai’i and declared Obama’s online forgery as “a piece of junk.”

Long story short, I dropped out of the race and supported constitutional conservative Dr. Charles Thompson. I felt driven to continue my efforts to expose Obama’s fraudulent birth and other false narratives about his background. I was unique. I was the only person I knew from Hawai’i speaking out publicly, bad or good, about Obama, and I knew why. Getting the truth told was a losing proposition as I fought a barrage of expletives; “birther,” “racist,” “wingnut,” “conspiracy theorist,” and all demeaning names and charges intended to intimidate me into silence. I wasn’t alone. Anyone challenging Obama caught the same flak.

On March 1, 2012, Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, AZ, held a press conference and declared that the birth certificate posted on the WhiteHouse.gov website on April 27, 2011, was a manufactured forgery. Earlier that same day, Andrew Breitbart, king of alternative media, collapsed and died. A shockwave went through conservative America. Sheriff Arpaio’s stunning news got a small mention by Brett Baier in his “Grapevine” segment on FOX News with a final comment intended to mar the sheriff’s credibility by stating he is under indictment by Attorney General Eric Holder for “civil rights violations” and other (trumped up) charges.

Sheriff Joe held another press conference on July 17th, again confirming Obama’s birth certificate to be a forgery. Even more evidence had been found in Hawai’i by Mike Zullo and his investigative team. The Sheriff’s Cold Case Posse now had boxes of evidence but in a quandary as to where it should go. Obviously, it couldn’t go to Eric Holder’s Justice Department, so he asked for a congressional hearing. He asked, but by now, he was marginalized like the rest of us who challenge the most powerful man on earth.

On Tuesday, August 7th, I went to Claremore, OK to Sen. Tom Coburn’s recess Town Hall. I went prepared with evidence to counter the claims he made to me in a letter responding to my request to hear Sheriff Arpaio’s evidence in a congressional hearing. Before he shouted me down, saying, “You don’t get to talk anymore!” and “You don’t get to read that!” (I tried to read aloud what he wrote), I got to talk about Obama’s forged birth certificate, his forged selective service application card, and his CT social security number starting with 042 instead of 575 or 576, numbers reserved for Hawai’i residents.

Coburn recited the talking points provided by CRS, the Congressional Research Service, who we identified as the culprit “prepping” members of Congress on how to handle questions about Obama’s birth certificate, citizenship status, his religion, Muslim background, passport, sealed records, etc. I asked if he gets his research from CRS, and he confirmed he did along with Snopes and FactCheck. Coburn had lost his cool and demanded I ask my question. I asked, “Will you call Sheriff Joe Arpaio and hear what he has to say?” Coburn answered, “Yes.”

Friends who travelled hours from different areas of Oklahoma to support me were witness to the ugly treatment usually given to me when I challenge high ranking officials. This time, it was murmurs of “Shut up, Bitch” and “Who does she think she is?”

Well, I’m happy to call myself a nobody. This nobody got a commitment from a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee to agree to call America’s toughest sheriff and hear the evidence proving Obama’s birth certificate is a manufactured forgery.

I was ecstatic to hear that Paul Ryan was chosen for Romney’s running mate. I was so afraid we were going to lose our country by allowing another Constitutionally ineligible candidate to be placed on a presidential ballot. The GOP establishment continually pushed for Marco Rubio to go on the ticket, deliberately ignoring the fact that Rubio is not a “natural born Citizen” as required by Article II, Section I, clause 5 of the Constitution. The founders in their great wisdom ensured for future generations that our president/commander in chief and vice-president have allegiance only to the United States by requiring this higher standard of natural born Citizen, meaning born to parents who are themselves citizens at the time. Marco Rubio was 4 years old when his father became a naturalized citizen, meaning he divested his Cuban citizenship, swore allegiance to America, and promised to uphold and defend the Constitution. Had Marco Rubio’s parents became naturalized before he was born, my mission would be different today.

I watched Ryan’s speech this morning and shed tears. Not just because of the wonderful words of optimism he has for the future of our country, but because it wasn’t Marco Rubio on the dais.
My thoughts, though, went to Ryan and Col. West and questioned why Tea Party-backed congressmen would vote for NDAA when it hit me: they don’t read all the bills, and we shouldn’t expect them to. It’s an impossible task, so they rely on their aides and other advisors to do the research and make recommendations. And how do they do their research? They rely on the information disseminated by CRS, Snopes, FactCheck, and other liberal sources. Dr. Coburn confirmed that.

This isn’t news, and most people reading this are aware of the problem, but the difference is that we are being heard and taken seriously. Wayne Allyn Root went mainstream over Obama’s sealed Columbia records. Others are coming forward exposing Obama’s communist ties and radical Muslim infiltration in the White House. My hunch is that every Republican senator and congressman has at least one communist plant among their staff, and CRS is the communist controller of the information flow – cut off the communist tentacles of CRS, and we start to win the information war and the battle to save our country.

Who Is Dead Obama Staffer Alex Okrent? (Part 2)

There are odd parallels between the death of Andrew Breitbart and Obama staffer Alex Okrent. In both cases there were statements reported in the news almost immediately that they had died of heart attacks, even before autopsies were performed. In both cases they oddly collapsed then shortly thereafter died. In both cases their age did not portent a heart attack.

But where Andrew Breitbart was an open book—his life, words, and works literally strewn over the Internet—Alex Okrent’s life is a mystery. An extensive search of the Internet finds that there is literally nothing about him prior to July 13. This is odd given that the Obama campaign has stated he had been a staff member, a “communication employee,” for eight years. Eight years is a long time in politics. But aside from a single blog posting in February of 2008 where Okrent posts an Obama open letter to gays and lesbians regarding his stance on same-sex marriage, nothing shows him to be an Obama staff member or associated with the Obama campaign in any way.

Equally odd is his Twitter timeline. Going back to 2009, of his hundreds of tweets, nothing makes mention of his being a staff member of the Obama campaign, including his bio. Granted, he tweets out support for Obama’s stance on gay marriage; several times tweets that his followers should donate to Obama’s campaign, but there is no “Working on Obama’s campaign xyz today” kind of tweets.

We could probably somehow explain this away, but the literal wiping away of any information on the Internet about Alex Okrent (including a deleted Facebook page) cannot be disregarded. For anyone who has Google’d their own name knows, someone who merely exists in the world is all over the Internet. Their connection to the high school they went to; college; volunteer groups; blogs; what is tweeted; boyfriends, girlfriends, friends, acquaintances, Facebook posts, etc.

Oddly, the last tweet that Alex Okrent made was to a woman named Sarah Roberts. Roberts had tweeted out: “Trying to find a spot/bar to meet someone near Brown Line, Diversey stop: any recommendations?” Okrent had tweeted back: “Delilah’s is about a 5-6 minute walk from there, on Lincoln at Diversey. Grungy dive-y whiskey bar. one of the best.” Delilah’s is a popular Chicago bar frequented by gays and lesbians. But more pointedly, Sarah Roberts, not particularly famous, not associated with the President of the United States, has literally hundreds of photos, thousands of postings associated with her name, like one would expect that is connected with social media. In fact she has been blogging for the past four years and posts various photos of herself, her friends, etc., something we would have expected Alex Okrent to do. Where are the photos of Obama staffers having a drink after a hard day of work? Aside from the one photo of Okrent allegedly at Obama campaign headquarters on his Twitter bio, there are no photos. Okrent has been with the Obama campaign for eight years and no photos of Obama? No photos of campaign events? No photos of fellow Obama staff members?

Further, his family, mother Lynn Pollack and Mike Okrent live in Evanston, minutes away from the Chicago headquarters where Okrent worked, and there are no photos of family events. No tweets as, ‘My birthday today. Here’s a photo of me and my mom,’ etc.

Here’s another odd fact. Lynn Pollack, the mother, appears on the Internet more than her son. Not in a good way either. Pollack is extensively associated and has a leadership role in an organization named innocuously Jewish Voice for Peace. Despite its name, the group is virulently anti-Israel, believing the Jews are occupying the land of Israel; are guilty of “apartheid,” i.e., the normal Islamic extremist line that Jews are illegally living in Israel. That somehow having a four-thousand year connection to a land is irrelevant. That those who espouse the “apartheid” meme also often seek the Jews annihilation being ignored. Jewish Voice for Peace is part of the “social justice” umbrella of anti-Israel groups, such CODEPINK, that have touchy-feely names, but have extensive radical ties (in the days when radicals were outed as radicals, we’d call them front groups).

This oddity goes further, in that this group is comprised of many Jews. “Self-hating” as some have called it. In fact Alex Okrent’s sister, Abigail Okrent, finds herself on a website called the Jewish S.H.I.T. List (Self-Hating and/or Israel-Threatening). Of Abigail Okrent the website writes: ‘This Evanston, Illinois Jew is a member of Jeff Alpert’s pro-Arab Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions.” Abigail Okrent is also found on Marxist watchdog Trevor Loudon’s website. Even odder, Alex Okrent is listed on this Jewish S.H.I.T. List website, but with no description. His mother is also on a petition entitled American Jews Oppose Israeli Policy in Gaza. In fact the person conducting Okrent’s funeral,Howard Friedland, has been identified as an Israel-hating Marxist.

Could this be the link of Obama’s anti-Israel, Marxist policies that Obama had to conveniently sweep away?

Given the ability of this President to cover up all of his radical connections, all of his past abominations, we may never know.

Walker Win Referendum On Obama

Scott Walker Walker Win Referendum On Obama

Conservatives joined in a collective sigh of relief last night when Scott Walker was declared the winner in the Wisconsin recall race. We knew, with the unions involved, that there would be massive voter fraud, which was borne out with the 119% voter turnout number.

We were especially worried when Eric Holder’s corrupt DOJ announced they would be “observing” the election, as if an entity that ignored the blatant voter intimidation case by the New Black Panther Party could be trusted.

Holder, with his one-man crusade to wipe out voter ID laws, is the living embodiment of voter fraud. This makes for a dangerous cocktail, joined with Obama’s massive voter fraud allegations during the 2008 Democratic Primary.

Thankfully, there was enough of a Walker majority to offset the voter fraud.

A Scott Walker win was viewed as a referendum on Barack Obama, as Obama stands for everything that Walker’s opponents stand for: mandatory, all-powerful unions with unsustainable salaries, pensions, and health care; a bloated, all-encompassing government controlling all aspects of the economy and private citizens’ lives; demonization of anyone who disagrees with them as “right-wing extremists” (Walker was painted as the “rock star” of the Tea Party); and never-ending “stimulus” and bailouts that push debt higher and higher.

Obama’s “progressivism” (i.e., Socialism, Marxism, and union thuggery) got put in a coffin last night, nailing the cover shut.

But make no bones about it; Big government progressives will not be buried without a fight. They will break that cover off; claim voter fraud; charge the Tea Party and all conservatives with even more extremism, racism, jingoism and every other “-ism” out there; and double down with further thuggery, voter fraud, and deception.

So, we must continue to fight.

We must fight until election day.

And after election day.

Obama came to power because conservatives slept. As Andrew Breitbart said at CPAC in February: “Barack Obama met a bunch of ‘silver ponytails’ back in the 1980s… who, equally radical, said ‘One day, we’re going to have the presidency.’ And the rest of us slept while they plotted, and they plotted, and they plotted.”

America: When Obama is voted out in November, we must never sleep again.

A “Double Agent” For The Obama Administration

Buzzfeed.com SC A “Double Agent” for the Obama Administration

On May 25, BuzzFeed came out with the “bombshell” that Barack Obama took part in a DSA (Democratic Socialists of America)-sponsored event in 1996.

The copy under the headline reads:

“It’s a reminder that the President presented himself as much more progressive during his time in Chicago. In this little-seen advertisement that ran in the Hyde Park Herald in 1996, Obama was listed on a panel sponsored by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), University of Chicago Democrats, and University of Chicago DSA.”

Translation: Nothing to see here, move on.

Of course, conservatives reported on this four years ago, so that the bombshell was a little late in coming.

In fact, in August of 2008, Trevor Loudon, a researcher who specializes in pulling the curtain back from the Radical Left, wrote the following:

“Right-wing bloggers have discovered Chicago DSA’s 1996 endorsement of Obama for the Illinois State Senate and Obama’s participation that same year in a University of Chicago Young Democratic Socialists town hall meeting on ‘Economic Insecurity.’”

What BuzzFeed has “uncovered” is simply the newspaper advertisement for the DSA “Economic Insecurity” event.

I put “uncovered” in quotes because we have be very careful here.

David Maraniss, in his new Obama “exposé,” Barack Obama: The Story, revealed a startling amount of detail of Obama’s mysterious New York years. Maraniss specifically sheds light on the oddity that even though Obama has been walking this earth for fifty-plus years, no girlfriend has ever come forward to present any information and/or dirt about the former community organizer. In the Mariniss excerpt, we learn of two girlfriends during the New York period in excruciating detail, with Mariniss getting a hold of letters and journals from Obama’s past flames.

Aside from there being major problems with these supposed girlfriends and Maraniss’ complicity with the Obama camp (his biography was authorized by Obama) that I’ve detailed in other places, the question is never answered by Maraniss why: 1. The girlfriends never came forward before; and 2. Why they made the letters and journals available exclusively to him?

We have to keep in mind that Maraniss wrote a fawning biography of Obama in August of 2008 and joined the mainstream media when the wagons were circled after Obama’s possible Kenyan birth was broached at the same time.

But more to my point here, Maraniss in his biography excerpt oddly lists the names of four Pakistanis that Obama and his then-girlfriend Genevieve Cook were close to during the New York years, stating that Obama sought out Pakistani friends. But he does not expand on why he sought out Pakistani friends versus some other nationality. Neither does he offer any substantive details about these Pakistani friends’ backgrounds.

The four Pakistani friends were (Mohammed) Hasan Chandoo, Wahid Hamid, Sohale Siddiqi (wife of Hamid), and Beenu Mahmood.

Chandoo and Hamid played a part in Obama’s trip to Pakistan in 1981, which he did not reveal until April of 2008, mentioning it as an offhand comment. In between terms of Occidental College and Columbia University, Obama had traveled to Pakistan with Hamid, staying with Chandoo’s family in Karachi.

Of course, there is the problem that Pakistan was then under martial law and forbade Americans, Jews, and Christians from entering the country, and that Obama may have used an Indonesian passport to enter the country, identifying himself as a Muslim. It also appears that both Chandoo and Hamid retained their friendship with Obama up until at least 2008 (as both were listed as part of an Obama-for-2008 Asian Americans Leadership Council), and both contributed to Obama’s 2008 campaign. But that is not my point here.

My point is that the Left uses what Andrew Breitbart called the strategy of a “controlled explosion.” For example, when BuzzFeed got word that Breitbart.com was going to reveal the Obama-Derrick Bell video tapes, they released an edited version of the tape before Breitbart.com in order to minimize the importance of the connection. By the time Breitbart released the full tapes, CNN had begun going on the offensive to “prove” that Bell was really not radical (to the point where MSM lackey Soledad O’Brien was caught having a Wikipedia article on Bell whispered in her ear, trying to prove how moderate he was.) This of course resulted in what many saw as an O’Brien meltdown while interviewing Breitbart editor Joel Pollack and more than likely contributed to CNN’s recently-tanked ratings, revealing CNN (like MSNBC) to be nothing more than an Obama Administration cheerleader.

The point being is that Maraniss’ biography, due to be released in full in June, is nothing more than a preemptive strike being used by the Obama Administration in order to minimize in a rather large way some impending revelation. What exactly the revelation is, I have not ascertained. (It more than likely will include Obama’s relationship with Bill Ayers during the New York years, Obama’s girlfriend Genevieve Cook attending the same college as Ayers in 1983 and 1984, the two more than likely attending the same classes, and Obama living literally a five-minute walk from Ayers. What I have ascertained, however, is that Maraniss is in bed with the Obama Administration.

BuzzFeed, also being completely in the tank with Obama, is not revealing anything with the 1996 DSA connection, except that they know some future Obama revelation is imminent.

Having said all of this, I warn conservatives not to throw gasoline on BuzzFeed’s non-existent fire as some websites have done by reporting on BuzzFeed’s “revelation.”

We are in a war for this country. Obama and his Leftist friends that want to “transform” our country by turning it into a European democratic-socialist oligarchy like the EU countries have become, versus our Constitutional Republic.

In a war, we cannot and must not sleep. In a war, we must be vigilant and realize that there are, as oddly as it may sound about a media organization, double agents like BuzzFeed.

An Open Letter To The “Senior Staff” At Breitbart.com

We Will Miss Breitbart SC An Open Letter to the Senior Staff at Breitbart.com

Let’s get a few things straight here.  As much as we all loved Andrew Breitbart’s moxie, he, like virtually every other national Conservative who was or is a part of the “establishment” (read, those who have established themselves financially, and been acknowledged by their peers) had avoided the issue of the Constitutional eligibility of the president of the United States. Much like Sewanee, the University of the South, has avoided gridiron rematches with Texas, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn, LSU, and Ole Miss since beating all eight (along with four other schools) in their 12-0 1899 season.  Far better to boast that they had once proved their mettle on the playing field than to have to do it again…in real time.

So, like the mythically-fearless Michelle Malkin, or the once-cocky and courageous Ann Coulter, the “Senior Staff” at Breitbart prefers to live off of past – and in their case, borrowed – glory. And, given their namesake’s own calculated denial of this historic issue, the youngsters at Breitbart apparently believe they can get away with it. But it’s tough trying to be all things to all people – especially when the views encompassed are diametrically opposed.

So here come the princes of political archeology – they can hardly be called monarchs in their own right – and they have a find…but it’s a sticky one.  You see, the recognized king of sequestration, the billionaire financier of burying (not excavating) the past, has declared certain digs “off limits.”  Those would be any that might uncover relics from the entombed past of the current Occupier-in-Chief.  So…to disclose or not to disclose?  Such a dilemma!  The heady thrill of breaking a story of potentially enormous national interest, as well as consequence…but on an officially quarantined (and hermetically-sealed) topic….  How to proceed?

Ah, the obvious approach…to break the story, but make sure that the purse-strings-that-be know that you yourselves don’t take it seriously.  Heaven forbid!  Bittersweet, but what could be more important at this point than one’s Arianna-approved “intellectual” (press) credentials – even if such a notion is in its very essence oxymoronic…or, just plain moronic?  So here we have it, in their own contortionist’s attempt at simultaneously claiming credit for, and dismissing, the obvious implications of a recently unearthed find:

Note from Senior Management:

Andrew Breitbart was never a “Birther,” and Breitbart News is a site that has never advocated the narrative of “Birtherism.” In fact, Andrew believed, as we do, that President Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 4, 1961.

Yet Andrew also believed that the complicit mainstream media had refused to examine President Obama’s ideological past, or the carefully crafted persona he and his advisers had constructed for him.

It is for that reason that we launched “The Vetting,” an ongoing series in which we explore the ideological background of President Obama (and other presidential candidates)–not to re-litigate 2008, but because ideas and actions have consequences.

It is also in that spirit that we discovered, and now present, the booklet described below–one that includes a marketing pitch for a forthcoming book by a then-young, otherwise unknown former president of the Harvard Law Review

It is evidence–not of the President’s foreign origin, but that Barack Obama’s public persona has perhaps been presented differently at different times.

Wow!  Where to begin…?  Let’s start with disclaimer #1:  “Andrew Breitbart was never a ‘Birther,’ and Breitbart News is a site that has never advocated the narrative of ‘Birtherism.’”

Reading this makes me want to ask in bemused wonder:  How old are you?  (I could, of course, ask the same question of Anderson Cooper, Bill O’Reilly, Mark Levine, Neal Boortz, or Glenn Beck – who are clearly much older to a man.)  But seriously, how immature – or insecure, at least – must one be to be so concerned with what the cultural elites think of them?  Young Ben Shapiro (twenty-eight, and reportedly the youngest nationally syndicated writer in the country) went to Harvard Law. One wonders if he had been president of the Law Review if we would have ever seen one of his publications…but I digress.  Joel Pollak…sure enough, went to both Harvard and Harvard Law – just as I had expected.

While I must congratulate the two on emerging from that milieu with any non-collectivist values, it seems that neither of them escaped with a penchant for identifying and confronting the Alinsky staple of marginalization…or, they accept the practice so fully that they simply can’t bear the thought of being on the receiving end thereof.  Well, grow up, boys!  If what Media Matters says about you is a concern (and it clearly is), then perhaps you should choose another line of work.

(I recently observed with some pride that the highly-irrelevant New Times – I believe it was – a radical statist rag, no doubt printed in an abandoned warehouse somewhere near the ASU campus, had called me a “birther.”  I wouldn’t have known it except that in checking up on the circulation of some recent video productions I stumbled across it.  My point being that it made me laugh…not cry. Why would I – or anyone over the age of, say, thirteen – care?  Short answer?  He wouldn’t…that is, if he had any sense of his own self-worth; and I thought that was all they taught in school these days!)

So, the timorous teens immediately jump on the pejorative (and proverbial) bandwagon with “Birther” and “Birtherism.”  What does that mean, Joel?  Are you referring to those who not only profess to believe in the Constitution, but are actually willing to defend it?  I suppose we should just cut to the chase then, and call John Jay “the original birther” – rather than Hillary supporter, Phillip Berg.  (It was – they were – actually, Lawrence Turley and Gabriel Chin, two highly regarded law professors, from Georgetown and the University of Arizona, who originally raised the issue with respect to Senator John McCain with the full support of the national media…and without derision, just respectful awe for this serious Constitutional inquiry, which they said must be undertaken.  According to Chin, nothing less than “the rule of law” was at stake! See Chapter 17:  “The Final Word from Professors Turley and Chin,” in the newly-released Oh Really, O’Reilly! – Part I of II.)

Why John Jay?  Because it was he who, in a letter penned to Constitutional Convention President George Washington, on July 25, 1787, queried:  Permit me to hint whether it would not be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of foreigners into the administration of our national government ; and to declare expressly that the command in chief of the American army shall not be given to, nor devolve on any but a natural born citizen.”  (Emphasis added.)

Or perhaps we should go back further still, to Emmerich de Vattel, the contemporary legal authority of the day, to ascertain the meaning of the phrase from which the more erudite term “birther” most assuredly derived.  The Swiss diplomat was the author of Law of Nations, about which Benjamin Franklin (was he a “birther” as well?) said the following in a letter to Charles W. F. Dumas, the book’s publisher, in December, 1775:

“I am much obliged by the kind present you have made us of your edition of Vattel. It came to us in good season, when the circumstances of a rising state make it necessary frequently to consult the Law of Nations. Accordingly, that copy which I kept …has been continually in the hands of the members of our congress, now sitting, who are much pleased with your notes and preface, and have entertained a high and just esteem for their author.”  (Emphasis added.  The source of the quote is an excellent article on the superiority of Vattel over Blackstone and English Common Law as the predominant legal source of the writers of the Constitution, as Blackstone defines “natural-born citizen” or “natural-born subjects” of the King as any born within the British Empire.  One immediately sees the motive for such a definition as it applied to “subjects,” in contrast with “citizens” who might one day command the military.)

Wrote Vattel:

“The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens….I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be of a father who is a citizen; for if he be born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.”

So yes, it looks like we’ve found our man! Now that we have cleared up the auspicious origins of the tin-foil-hat terms “Birther” and “Birtherism,” so skillfully employed by the youthful Pollak and company (Breitbart’s “Senior Staff”), in distancing themselves from their own explosive find, I will finalize my analysis of their Houdini-like effort to extricate themselves from what appears (to them, at least) to be a certain and painful death.

In an excruciating attempt to continue the heralded “vetting,” while voluntarily confining themselves within the officially sanctioned limits of inquiry (which excludes anything and everything – of a factual or provable nature, at least – prior to his election, or, in other words, his entire life), the post-pubescent heirs to the Breitbart legacy submit to the Soros-inspired shackles with a willingness and zeal which can only give one pause….

They heroically chastise the “mainstream” media (once again displaying a mindlessness beyond my meager ability to comprehend) for refus[ing] to examine President Obama’s ideological past, or the carefully crafted persona he and his advisers had constructed for him.”

Yep, his “ideological” past is somewhat fair game, but not his real past – things like where and when he was actually born; who his father really was (these things are a bit difficult to prove absent the same validating document that every American is required to have for that very legal purpose); how we actually got into three formidable universities (Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard) with obviously mediocre grades; and on what sort of scholarship?  (For anyone who might suggest that his grades were anything but an embarrassment, is it even remotely plausible that the Narcissist-in-Chief would not have paraded them before the world if they were?  No, it is not!)

And finally, what about the carefully crafted persona he and his advisers had constructed for him.”  Are those of us not so fortunate as to have gotten into Harvard via affirmative action (Mr. Obama could, of course, dispel that misguided notion – if it is such – by simply releasing his school records, as did his much-maligned predecessor) supposed to simply accept “on faith” that his “carefully crafted persona,” i.e., totally fabricated life story, somehow magically begins or ends with…what?  I guess I just can’t grasp the new Breitbart.com “rules” for what we can and can’t “vet”!  This is no doubt what passes for “nuance” at Harvard and other elite academic environs.  That may be, but real Americans aren’t buying it!

And what about this scholarly summation of their preemptive disclaimer?

It is evidence–not of the President’s foreign origin, but that Barack Obama’s public persona has perhaps been presented differently at different times.”  (Emphasis added.)

Since the absurdity of this has been duly covered ad nauseum elsewhere, I will just conclude with the highlighted word “perhaps.”  Perhaps…the aging “Senior Staff” at Breitbart (who have clearly not yet come of age) have engaged in a desperate game of “Please don’t throw [us] in the briar patch!” – except that they were regrettably serious – but in their feeble attempt at supplanting the truth, they can’t even do that with decisiveness.  His public persona has perhaps been presented differently at different times”?

How about this instead?  His “public persona” is so ensconced, and has been so often sealed or falsified, that we know not with any certainty, where he was born; when he was born; who his father was; if his parents were ever married; why his Kindergarten Records are missing; what his real/legal name is (it was Barry Soetoro, among others, at various points in his life); if he ever reapplied for U.S. citizenship – which could or would make him a naturalized citizen, depending on his age at the time- (his Indonesian elementary school application lists his country/nationality as “Indonesia”); how he got into Occidental College, Columbia University, or Harvard; how he paid for it, or who paid for it; what his grades were at any of the three highly-exclusive schools; what he did while in the Illinois State Senate (those records are all inexplicably missing or have been destroyed); and, finally, why both he and First Lady Michelle Obama were required to surrender their law licenses (that isn’t done voluntarily, but is done in order to avoid further legal sanctions).

In summation, the Senior Staff at Breitbart.com has shown an inordinate insecurity and woeful inability to simply report the facts and allow their readers to decide for themselves what those might mean.  So, given their essentially adolescent refusal to do so, here’s what their story clearly demonstrates:  Barack Obama was either lying to us then – and the ruse continued for sixteen years, from 1991 to 2007 – or he has been lying to us throughout the five years since.  Absent any kind of legal proof – and a widely discredited digital image on a website does more to suggest fraud than to dispel it – we have only the “public persona,” which we have all witnessed over the past four years, on which to rely. And his proclivity for misrepresenting the truth is so profound that one doubts that he has ever done otherwise!

Perhaps the most honest thing he has ever done is to not compare himself to our nation’s first President – the man known for never telling a lie!  I say “perhaps,” only because I’m not entirely certain that he hasn’t – but the Obama night is still young…as are the Senior Staff at Breitbart.com!
