The Manchurian President

Conservatives are constantly bombarded with being referred to as conspiracy theorists: everything from a belief that Eric Holder was shipping guns to Mexican drug cartels in order to curtail the Second Amendment, to probably the most serious, if true, that Barack Hussein Obama is a foreign plant—that is, a Manchurian President.

The latter is the stuff of spy novels and Hollywood make-believe, not real life, right?

Perhaps. Perhaps not.

For those of us who did even a modicum of research prior to Obama’s election in 2008, we knew that his ties to radicals ran deep—not the obvious, like domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn or anti-Semites like Edward Said or Rashid Khalidi. But an extremely close relationship with such groups as the DSA—the Democratic Socialists of America—that lasted for years, if not decades.

In 1996, the DSA backed Obama for Illinois State Senate.

In 2000, the DSA continued to support Obama, this time when he was running for Congress.  In their endorsement, they mention Obama frequently attended socialist events, specifically naming a YDS (Young Democratic Socialist) event he attended in 1996.

Obama had been a dues-paying member of the DSA’s political party, the openly Marxist New Party. In fact, we know through New Party minutes the exact day Obama joined—January 11, 1996.

The New Party News, a publication of the New Party, in 1996 had identified Obama as a New Party member, along with Danny Davis, who at the time was a card-carrying member of the CPUSA, the U.S. branch of the Communist Party.

Obama, as reported in the socialist-linked journal Social Policy Winter 2003 edition, had trained the socialist front group ACORN’s activists for years. (This of course directly contradicted Obama’s lie in 2008 that the only contact he had with ACORN was as their attorney for the so-called “Motor Voter” lawsuit).

Obama more than likely also had contact with Marxist sociologists Francis Fox Piven and Richard Cloward.  With deep ties to ACORN, they advocated collapsing the American economy in order to usher in a socialist utopia.

Of course, Obama’s presidency is following what is called the Cloward-Piven plan to a tee—that is, creating a crisis where the welfare state, through an unsustainable debt, collapses the economy, creating an economic apocalypse whereby the central planners can then easily usher in a totalitarian Marxist state.

If Barack Obama is in fact a Marxist plant, then his actions since coming to power make complete sense.

Pushing for massive spending, creating a massive welfare state, pushing the national debt towards what many estimate is the economy’s tipping point—$20 trillion by the end of Obama’s second term.

Shoving socialized healthcare down the throat of America.

Calling for the disarming of the American public through a phony “assault weapons” ban.

Pushing for a “universal background check” to purchase guns, which is really nothing more than a Trojan horse for a national gun registry—something the communist Russian government did in October of 1918, six months before they confiscated all guns.

Amassing a staggering amount of ammunition, over two billion rounds by last count, most of it the hollow point, armor piercing variety (enough to kill every American man, woman, and child five times.)

Stockpiling thousands of light armored tanks to roam the streets of America.

Ordering a fleet of “public safety” drones, with the ability to vaporize an American citizen in the blink of an eye—expected to number in the tens of thousands by the end of Obama’s second term.

Taking George W. Bush’s Patriot Act to an unimaginable, Orwellian level, by building a one million square foot  mega-database facility, located in Bluffdale, Utah, to spy on Americans. The Utah Data Center will collect literally everything that is transmitted over wires, fiber optic cables, cell phone towers, and satellites: Landline and cell phone traffic. Email. Texting. Facebook posts. Tweets. Skype. Travel records.  Credit card transactions. Banking records. Stock market trades. Google searches. Your smartphone’s GPS will even beam your exact location to Big Brother Obama.

All without a warrant.

Is Barack Obama then a Marxist plant?

It would be a conspiracy theory not to think Obama is a Manchurian President.

Secretary of State John Kerry’s wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, is a primary donor to the Tides Foundation, one of the country’s biggest financiers of the radical left.

Tides is controversial clearinghouse that funds groups such as MoveOn.org, ACORN, Media Matters for America and a litany of so-called anti-war organizations.

Tides is also heavily connected to the Occupy movement.

The group funds a controversial environmental organization, the Apollo Alliance, which helped to craft sections of President Obama’s 2009 stimulus legislation.

Kerry, through her personal foundation, has donated more than $4 million to the Tides Foundation.

Is A Civil War Coming?

For anyone who has done even a cursory study of Barack Obama’s life, they know that his radical Marxist views are not a recent phenomenon.

During his New York years, he was a frequent participant in the annual Socialist Scholars Conference held in Manhattan.

In the 1990s, he was affiliated with the Marxist New Party.

He called for an outright ban on guns in 1996.

Through the 1990s and 2000s, he funneled millions of dollars to socialist front groups like ACORN, via the Woods Fund and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. His buddy, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, helped stuff the money in the pockets of these “public welfare” groups, often taking money from wealthy donors who believed the funds were being used to further education or stamp out poverty. This was Barack Obama’s first foray into “spreading the wealth around.”

The dirty little secret about Marxists is that the moral outrage they have about the poor, about gun violence, about war, and even about the environment (so-called “global warming,” now rebranded as “climate change”) is that these are all simply tools to set up a totalitarian government. A so-called utopia where “from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs” is not determined by the individual, but according to an elite bureaucracy.

Except totalitarian governments don’t work very well unless you have a dependent and defenseless rabble. Obama has successfully created a welfare state, with food stamp and welfare rolls soaring.  And, with Obamacare, he will put virtually the entire citizenry on the public dole.

But creating a defenseless rabble is a little more difficult in America, with the majority of Americans holding the Second Amendment as sacred.

It was easy in Russia. In October 1918, the Communist government mandated that all of its citizens register their weapons. Then it conveniently confiscated all of these “registered” weapons. (It kind of sounds like Obama’s “common sense” call for universal background checks—really a Trojan horse for a national gun registry).

But this is all a conspiracy theory, right? America could never become like Communist Russia, could it?

In 2007 and 2008 when Obama researchers such as Stanley Kurtz and Trevor Loudon unearthed Obama’s extensive radical background and warned us from the highest mountaintops to beware, most of us handed these guys tinfoil hats, figuring that if a Marxist did get into office, we had a little document called the Constitution to keep him in check and/or impeach him.

Because of a dumbed down public and two weak RINO Republicans (first McCain, then Romney), Obama was able to garner enough votes to gain the presidency twice.

We’ve had a radical Marxist sitting in the Oval Office for over four years now.

But the Constitution was still there, including the Second Amendment and the separation of powers.

And the radical connections that were unearthed in 2007 and 2008 paled in comparison to what we learned in an almost month-by-month basis in the following years.

Except what if the Obama administration could disarm a large portion of the population—the so-called “progressives” who believe that guns are evil, and the dumbed down population who didn’t know any better?

And what if the only ones left who refused to give up their guns, who demanded that the Constitution be followed, and who demanded that the separation of powers doctrine be upheld (against Obama’s “I can’t wait for Congress to act!” meme)—what if the only ones left were conservatives?

And what if the Obama administration declared conservatives domestic terrorists, as they have basically done with a so-called “study,” Hot Spots of Terrorism and Other Crimes in the United States?: Those who are “reverent of individual liberty.” Those who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority.” Those who believe there is a “grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.”

And what if the Obama administration could outgun their conservative enemies?

The Obama administration has amassed a staggering amount of bullets (over two billion rounds), most of it the hollow point, armor piercing variety, enough to kill every American, man, woman, and child five times.

And what if the Obama administration successfully banned “assault weapons” but was able to keep assault weapons for themselves (as they have already done) calling the use of AR-15s “personal defense weapons”?

And what if the Obama administration could nullify the Second Amendment from the portion of the public that were the most extensively trained, who were traditionally the most conservative—that is, veterans?

The Obama administration has sent out thousands of letters to veterans with the following:

 A determination of incompetency will prohibit you from purchasing, possessing, receiving, or transporting a firearm or ammunition. If you knowingly violate any of these prohibitions, you may be fined, imprisoned, or both…

And what if the Obama administration was purchasing thousands of light armored tanks to be used against its own citizens? This, we learned over the weekend.

And what if the Obama administration ordered a fleet of “public safety” drones, able to pick up cell phone traffic, able to identify whether the target—that is, an American citizen—is armed or not with the ability to be easily outfitted with missiles?

This is something we discovered is not out of a dystopian novel but hatched by our own government, with a fleet of 30,000 drones expected by the end of Obama’s “third term.”

And what if there was a secret memo that gave the Obama administration the authority to kill any U.S. citizen at any time, anywhere, without proof, without due process, accountable to no one? Investigative journalist Michael Isikoff uncovered this last month.

So what if, unlike the Communists in Russia, the Obama administration wasn’t able to disarm its enemy—conservatives—but were able to easily outgun them, with hundreds of thousands of “personal defense weapons,” billions of rounds, tanks, and “public safety” drones?

Is a civil war coming between a totalitarian Obama administration and conservatives?

Is this some wild-eyed conspiracy theory?

Perhaps. Perhaps not.

John Brennan, Alleged Obama Blackmailer, Gaining Dictatorial Power

For anyone who has done even a cursory study of Barack Obama’s life, they know that his radical Marxist views are not a recent phenomenon.  They probably go back to his Occidental days, most definitely to the New York years, where he attended at least two (and probably three) of the annual Socialist Scholars Conferences held in Manhattan.

This leftist bent continued with his association in the 1990s with the Marxist New Party; socialist-funding groups like the Woods Fund (where Obama, with Bill Ayers at the helm, doled out money to groups like ACORN); and his later connection to the anti-Iraq War movement, anti-torture movement, anti-drone movement, etc.

So when Obama ascended to power, none of us who had been doing even basic research on Obama were surprised when he surrounded himself with a gaggle of leftist ideologues. But like those picture games kids play where the question is asked “What doesn’t belong?”, it was extremely odd when Obama in 2008 put John Brennan at the top of the list to head the CIA.

For years, as part of the CIA, Brennan was knee-deep in Bush’s use of waterboarding and psychotropic drugs to gain information. He was a proponent of the Iraq War, a proponent of drones to carry out assassinations, and a Republican—all things Obama and his leftist base have fought against for years.

And Obama’s leftist base was livid and demanded that Brennan’s name be withdrawn from consideration for CIA head.

Obama brought Brennan into the inner circle anyway, giving him the job of what has turned out to be a position more powerful than the CIA director. His title sounds innocuous enough: Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.

Brennan, running something akin to a fiefdom with his drone assassination program, has the power to decide who lives and who dies and doesn’t have to provide evidence to any entity that the “target” presents any threat to America—even if they are an American—even if the American is living in the United States!

Investigative Reporter Michael Isikoff uncovered a secret memo, entitled “Lawfulness of a Lethal Operation Directed Against a U.S. Citizen who is a Senior Operational Leader of Al Qa’ida or An Associated Force.”

The memo gives the Obama Administration—in effect, Brennan—the authority to kill any American citizen at anytime for any reason without proof, without due process, and with absolutely no oversight.

But this unchecked power exercised by John Brennan is mild compared to what we learned with the recent release of an extensive book on the Benghazi consulate attack. Benghazi: The Definitive Report, released on February 12, makes the shocking claim that Obama’s chief counter-terrorism officer, John Brennan, aside from having the authority to murder American citizens, has been waging a series of secret wars in North Africa and the Middle East against Al Qaeda and Al-Qaeda-linked groups. How secret? So secret that he and his minions at JSOC (Joint Special Operations Command) operated not only outside the purview of Congress, but outside the purview of the Pentagon and CIA. Former CIA head David Petraeus wasn’t even aware of Brennan’s secret wars!

According to Benghazi: The Definitive Report, the attack on the Benghazi consulate had nothing to do with, as we were told, an amateurish anti-Muslim YouTube video leading to a “protest turned violent,” but was retaliation for John Brennan’s JSOC attacks on the Libya-based terrorist group Ansar al-Sharia.

So the question becomes: Why does a leftist ideologue President pal up with a man—John Brennan—whose ideology is the complete opposite to his?

For the answer to this, we must go back to the beginning of 2008 when it was announced that a company that no one had ever heard of—Analysis Corporation—had breached Obama’s passport file.

The incident was reported to simply be mischief, and the employee was reprimanded. We would soon find out that John Brennan, then advisor on intelligence and foreign policy to the Obama campaign, headed Analysis Corporation.

What we weren’t told at the time, however, was that Analysis Corporation (now Sotera Defense Solutions) then as now not only had access to virtually every passport of every American, but Social Security numbers (and probably birth certificates.)

We were told that Analysis Corporation was a State Department contractor. This was only partially true. Analysis Corporation was a database-crunching company focusing on national security and counterterrorism and thus worked for virtually every government entity with a connection to U.S. intelligence: CIA, FBI, DHS, etc. The Analysis Corporation was staffed by former government agents, which was why John Brennan, who had been the former second-in-command at the CIA, ran the company.

It has been theorized that the 2008 breach of Obama’s records was not in fact simply mischief by an employee, but was a cover to purge Barack Obama’s file of any reference to foreign citizenship.

What if in fact Brennan, as head of Analysis Corporation and obviously with access to Obama’s records, breached his file not to cover for him, but to blackmail him?

When John Brennan looked at Obama’s passport, his Social Security file, and possibly his birth certificate in early 2008, what exactly did he see? Something that America would find deeply disturbing? Something that would disqualify Obama from being President like the fact that Obama probably became an Indonesian citizen when his mother married Lolo Soetoro, as evidenced by Obama’s grammar school records, indicating that he was a Muslim Indonesian with the legal name of Barry Soetoro?

Is Brennan using this information to force Obama to make him CIA chief?

What exactly does Brennan gain by becoming the CIA chief? Not simply becoming the head of our spy agency. This would give him access to virtually all electronic communications: phone, email, text, video—everything—access to a database that has been in the works for years, covering every single American—an Orwellian database that was revealed by a former National Security Agency whistleblower in July of 2012.

We also know a wide-scale domestic drone program is coming. The DHS has branded it for “public safety.” Who will be in charge of this “public safety” drone program? Probably the person with the most experience with drones: John Brennan.  With access to every piece of information on every American,  able to dispatch a drone to spy on and and kill anyone at any time, he will be the most powerful person in the United States.

John Brennan, dictator, brought to power all because Barack Obama wants to keep his records secret.

There are several great organizations documenting REAL voter fraud. There are also many local news reports from ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX confirming or reporting on such antics. Unfortunately, these stories never make it to the national news. Apparently, the Big News Networks and national newspapers do not find it newsworthy. The mass of evidence is far beyond anecdotal, as those large media outlets would like the public to believe. Many articles in the media have attempted to make laughing stocks of those reporting on these topics. Don’t be fooled; this is an attempt to discredit by mockery.

In a previous article, I provide a list of remedies to virtually eliminate voter fraud. The list is not rocket science! The list of solutions is purely logical, simple, and common-sense; anyone with a problem-solving ability could have done the same. Many have; some of the ideas are not new but are not typically presented in a comprehensive solutions plan.

Human nature seems to prevail. The daily drama of the never-ending 24/7 news cycle have taken our eyes off the ball. It is more fun and entertaining to see the newest of stories each day than to take action for long-term fixes. When the election cycles of 2014 and 2016 roll around, we will again be shocked and have more dramatic news accounts of fraud. Sadly, they will have been preventable. What have we done to fix it? Many have tried, but this seems to be a solo effort; the parties do not collaborate.

Enforcing existing law is not a solution. Nor is reporting on the fraud without purposeful action to remedy the loopholes.

Voter fraud is not selective in a political side; all sides have been caught red-handed in the action over history. However, we now have a problem that is more one-sided; and those currently in power who intentionally benefit from fraud look the other way. It is no longer a problem of a few instances; we now have a deliberate institutional underground that is promoting illegal activities, primarily in the swing states that have the potential to sway the election results. Some of these organizations, ACORN and it’s new offshoots, have been documented as surviving at the expense of the Federal Government.

Important local elections are also in jeopardy. The problem is widespread and accepted.

This is America, folks! We should feel embarrassed and ashamed that our voting system is so broken. Many 3rd world nations have systems that outshine our voting system. So often, the infrastructure is deemed as needing to be brought up to the 21st Century; why are our voting laws and system so antiquated? Where are the progressives on this issue of infrastructure updates? More importantly, where are the conservatives legislators and grassroots groups?

Seriously, how hard is it to make this happen? For those who oppose this complete overhaul of infrastructure, I ask you a simple question: WHY?

The following sites document and promote existing voter law enforcement or document voter fraud. Why can’t conservatives collaborate and support a comprehensive voter fraud legislation package?

We have the chief community organizer for ACORN sitting in the oval office, but we cannot figure out why the liberals/communists have so much power?

I have specified many times that the liberal/communist base makes up only about thirty percent of the American population, according to any polling data that you look at. Why then are these people able to push an agenda that seventy percent of us disagree with? The answer is simple. We have been out-organized at every level. They have had the same plan for over one hundred years and have stuck to it. They always seem to stay at least two steps ahead of us. Their organizational skills are astounding.

Over the decades, the Conservative mindset has been based on cause and effect. We spend so much time dealing with the effects of  liberal/communist policies that we do not take any time to deal with the cause. Obamacare, for instance, was laid out way back when Clinton was in office, when it was called Hillarycare. We thought it had been defeated, but we were wrong. That was simply a test to see what the American people would tolerate. The same thing happened with gay marriage; they spoke the loudest, we did little or nothing about it, and how did that work out for us?

My point is that we have spent so much time trying to survive the effects of these liberal/ communist policies that we have not taken the time to go after the cause. The Obama regime is a target-rich field of crimes and misdemeanors against we the people and the Constitution of the United States. It’s well past time to go after the cause of America’s failure and demand JUSTICE!

We the people must out-organize those who seek to destroy us. We must find like-minded groups of individuals to stand with, merge with, and, if need be, fight with. I fear at this point our very existence as a free people is at stake. As always my fellow Patriots, stay safe and be aware of your surroundings.

WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING

The battle for the soul of America has long been waged. If only we had seen it coming. If only we had been warned 100 years ago or fifty … or twenty-five years ago, or maybe even in 2008. If only somebody would have told us about the imminent danger and the threat to destroy America. If only Christians could have seen the coming attack on Jesus Christ and assault on morality.

Maybe concerned citizens could have resisted the transformation. If only one of the socialist leaders would have openly broadcast a call to arms for radicals to seize power so we, our parents, or our grandparents could have known their intentions and fought back. If only the anti-American movement would have made their declaration of war public, then we would have stood against the enemy and resisted, wouldn’t we?

But they were patient, and it happened gradually. It was a brilliant plan. One strategy enemies of God have used to neutralize opponents (we the people) is to convince us there was never an agenda against this country; that there are only rumors and fabrications. They say the deterioration of America has been natural and inevitable. To those of us who are awake and who understand the Bible, they are absolutely wrong; history reveals it, and evidence proves it true. If only we could have saved the United States of America. Maybe it’s not too late; per­haps there is still time….

Sadly, the rapid decline of our culture continues with little resistance; it’s happening right under our noses and right before our eyes. The implementation of an anti-Christian socialist agenda has been thrust on America over the last fifty-plus years and, if not stopped, will lead to communism. This is the goal of the Left…

We can either remain in denial, or we can join the awakened move­ment of conservatives, independents, people of faith, and average Ameri­cans who want their country back. Two key questions are “who is doing this” and, “how are they doing it”? Most atheists, socialists, and Marxists believe people would be much happier if Christianity was eradicated. Without strong people of faith standing for truth, their agenda would advance with little hindrance.

RADICALS AMONG US

Socialism has taken over much of Europe, and the result has been chaos and unrest due to economic failures and increasing immorality. Though it is not always blatantly out in the open, socialism has been on our shores for over a century. There are those in America who are so focused on gaining power at any cost that even some liberals question their tactics, which is one reason we’ve seen divided factions in the Occupy Wall Street movement. They’ve always been here, but now more Americans are waking up.

Many of us were either oblivious that our country was in fact drift­ing away from our roots, or we ignored it. Our culture has been com­promised as they have purposefully achieved their objectives through many of America’s most influential institutions. Radicals have been emboldened by allies in the White House who through their policies are helping to advance everything from environmental activism to social justice and wealth redistribution. They openly support anti-American countries and groups while disrespecting Israel and weakening our national defense.

As Christian conservatives, one of our main concerns must be the protection of free speech and religious liberty in America. They’d love to shut us up. Until we understand how deceptive and dishonest some of our opponents are, it will be hard to defend the constant attacks on our faith, family, and freedoms. We are seeing more and more class warfare, criticism of capitalism, and government intrusion on Ameri­can citizens’ basic rights, including religious liberties.

Many liberals and progressives in the media, in OWS, and in pub­lic unions want to “reform” America’s free enterprise system. They’d like to see complete government control of our economy and markets; the Obama administration has already started down this road as they attempt to overhaul our nation’s health care laws and energy policies. Communist and socialist party organizers in America are now openly pushing their propaganda via the web and at public protests, including their failed efforts in Madison, Wisconsin.

But why socialism, and why did they choose this time in our history to try to make their move? Generations must have been dumbed down because anyone with a remote understanding of history knows that millions lived under abject poverty and suffered worldwide under socialism. Never before have so many innocent people died while being subjected to narcissistic leaders and tyrants who fooled them by saying all the right things. But the media buries it, and our kids are not being taught the whole truth in government-run public education.

Whether it is communism, socialism, Marxism, or progressivism, they all lead to man’s worship of the State as provider instead of the American system that allows for and encourages people to see God as provider. The fact that more Americans are considering ideas and “isms” like what we see today – after all of the climactic failures of socialism around the world – is beyond comprehension. If people don’t know bib­lical truth and American heritage, it’s no wonder some are not capable of reasoning and resisting this anti-Christian agenda. You don’t think our country could be destroyed from within?

Christianity is the one faith threatening enemies of God in America. These secular-progressive schemers set out to dumb down our children, minimize marriage and families, promote government control, and rewrite our history. They’ve been on our shores for more than a century, and the roll call of radical influences keeps growing: Lenin, Stalin, Marx, Gramsci, The Fabians, American Socialist Party, Saul Alinsky, Students for a Democratic Society, Bill Ayers, George Soros, Frank Marshall Davis, Jim Wallis, Jesse Jackson, Ted Turner, Van Jones, Rahm Emmanuel, Valeria Jarrett, The Clintons, Eric Holder, Cloward-Piven, ACORN, SEIU, AFL-CIO, NEA, CAIR, the U.N., and much of the mainstream media in America to name a few.

Why do you suppose the American people know very little about a far-left liberal Senator in Chicago who had ties to hard-core, radical, socialist, big-government ideologues? The media keeps a tight lid on inconvenient truths about Obama. Dr. John Drew did his senior honors thesis on Marxist economics at Occidental College, and he also founded the Democratic Student Socialist Alliance. He was a contemporary of Obama at Occidental and a Marxist himself. In fact, Drew was a well-known campus communist and was attracted to the college because Occidental was known for its Left-leaning politics and Marxist professors. Some even said it was considered “the Moscow of southern California.”

Occidental College attracted America’s future president. Drew believed Obama was looking for a social revolution during his college days, and he expected a movement where “the working class would overthrow the ruling class” leading to a socialist utopia in America. Drew admitted how extreme he thought Obama’s views were at the time. Americans are continuing to learn how little his views have changed.

President Obama’s early formative years feature a mixture of religious and political views, including those of his mentors, friends, and associations. Many of the relationships helped formulate his antipathy toward America, and his attraction to socialism is well-ingrained into his ideology and worldview.

From questionable Chicago politics to unethical community activ­ism, there is a clear pattern in Obama’s past. A Republican with the same background would have been vetted extensively, covered 24/7 by the media, and would never be elected. To suggest the corrupt, radical, leftist, progressive individuals who make up President Obama’s close friends, associations, and his administration do not reflect his faith and his worldview is both naive and insulting to our intelligence.

The election of New York’s Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the bishop of the Archdiocese of New York,  to lead the United State Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) was seen as a very hopeful sign by many who are concerned with the state the Catholic Church in America. I was one of those hopeful Catholics, but alas I have had my nose rubbed in reality: Cardinal Dolan has proved to be little more than an affable dupe at best and a dangerously misguided classic liberal at worst.

During the lead-up to the presidential election, Cardinal Dolan essentially abandoned the effort to bring the truth to the 30 million adherent Catholics who regularly hear Mass.

While one post- election survey found that adherent Catholics had voted for Mitt Romney by a wide margin, Romney’s total did not break 60%; and that shortfall can be directly placed at the feet of Cardinal Dolan for his failure to stand up for Catholic teachings. In his home diocese of New York City, we heard NOT A WORD about the election. Our parish of nearly 1000 people was supplied with a convoluted, poorly-written, unreadable, and barely more-than-apologetic pamphlet on why Catholics cannot vote for “those who support abortion.”  No names were mentioned – of course.

Since the election, we have been asked to donate to the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), which has a long and strong history of connections to ACORN as well as abortion- and gay “marriage”-supporting organizations. Cardinal Dolan did not have the sense of awareness to at least cancel this collection in Staten Island, which was devastated by super-storm Sandy. More than this, there was no clear explanation of what CCHD is really about – which provides grounds for cynicism and emotional disengagement from the Church.

The latest insult to the Catholic faithful is the appointment of Alexia K. Kelley (a longtime adviser to putative Catholic abortion supporters John Kerry, Kathleen Sebelius, and Barack Obama) as the new head of Foundations and Donors Interested in Catholic Activities (FADICA).  Kelley worked hard behind the scenes for the confirmation of the ridiculously pro-abortion fake Catholic Sebelius as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. The USCCB, headed by Cardinal Dolan, lists the FADICA on its website as a “resource.” Is there anything else left to say?

The election is still more than two weeks away, and already a tremendous amount of evidence has emerged that operatives from both major political parties have been committing election fraud. There have been reports of dead people being registered to vote, of voter registration forms being tossed in the garbage, and of activists purposely helping people get registered to vote in more than one state. We have not had a presidential election this closely contested since Bush v. Gore back in 2000, so there has been a tremendous amount of concern that one side (or potentially both sides) may be tempted to cheat. Supporters of Obama and Romney have both been charged with breaking the rules before. We all remember the ACORN voting scandals from the 2008 election, and what Romney operatives did to Ron Paul in the state of Maine during primary season was absolutely criminal. Anyone that believes that there are not operatives on both sides that would be willing to do “whatever it takes” to win this election is simply being delusional. Politics in America has become a very dirty game in this day and age, and the truth is that an increasing number of activists on both sides truly believe that “the ends justify the means” when it comes to trying to win an election.

The integrity of our elections is of paramount importance. After all, if our right to vote is taken away, what other way do we have to change things?

Sadly, the integrity of our elections has been called into question in recent years. We all remember what happened back in 2000. If another presidential election ends in similar fashion it could shake our system to the core.

A study that was released back in February by the Pew Center on the States found some very disturbing things. The following are a few of the statistics from their report…

-Nationally, one out of every eight voter registrations is inaccurate.

-Approximately 2.8 million Americans are registered in two or more states.

-Somewhere around 1.8 million registered voters are dead.
