The State Department claimed yesterday Barack Obama had not illegally spent millions of dollars supporting Kenya’s new pro-abortion, pro-Sharia constitution.
Its Office of Inspector General released a reporting claiming no U.S. official made “any private or public statements … expressing either a positive or negative position on the abortion provision in the draft Kenyan constitution, nor did they attempt to influence any Kenyan’s opinion, either positively or negatively, on the abortion provision.”
This sounds like Clinton-era word-parsing. The fact is President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden have both praised the new Kenyan constitution, which legalized abortion. Obama told the Kenyan Broadcasting Corporation the pro-abortion document represented a “singular opportunity to put the government of Kenya on a more solid footing.” On another occasion, Joe Biden told a Kenyan audience it would “deepen the roots of your democracy.” Ironically, he added the pro-abortion constitution would also “unleash the energy of the youth.”
Rep. Chris Smith, R-NJ, has detailed how the Obama administration spent at least $23 million funding organizations that supported the new constitution in Kenya. This could be an impeachable offense. Former prosecutor Andy McCarthy has written the advocacy was “borderline criminal (and that’s being generous).”
The State Department is circling the wagons. We thank Rep. Smith for his work so far and hope he will not fold in pursuing the truth.

Why is it so unusual for we, the people, to want an American as our president? God made a beautiful fabric of different kinds of cultures. Each culture thinks differently, has original ideas contiguous with their way of life, and adds brilliantly to the differences in nationality fabric. But in America, we, the people, need an American president who is more interested in protecting America than in arrogantly using our precious funds for pumping up other nations. Americans love to give. We love to help. But right now, Americans are suffering. I suspect the story–like many that appear here–is fiction. But even if it happened to be true, belonging to a gay club is not an impeachable offense.
Folks here really ought to read up on what is required to impeach someone, or to change the Constitution, before babbling on about doing it. Otherwise they just look silly.
