That’s what I said would be “fair” a few days ago. After all, those Olympians didn’t EARN their medals on their own, just as nobody creates a business on their own (and definitely because o’bama got to where he is because he is a BIG WILLING PUPPET)
wait until these poor medal winners get the irs bill for the medals. it’s estimated that a gold medal will generate approximately $9000 in taxable income based on the price gold the day they win. this is according to the irs
I guess we can assume that this taxation of Olympic Medals and Awards has been going on for awhile and may not be unique to this President. Although, who would have ever thought ANY president would EVER be so full of himself that he would ask in the “Event Registry” for newlyweds to consider along with those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries having guests give in lieu of gifts, donations to the RE-Elect Me campaign! That is SELFISH ON STEROIDS!!! and the major media ignored it! Glad Marco Rubio, has introduced today legislation to end the taxation of these medals. If they receive endorsements, fine those can be taxed, but not medals and awards! At RETURN TO COMMON SENSE would be the MOST refreshing reason to elect a NEW President!
Must want the wealth spread to himself, since he never accomplished ANYTHING worthwhile in his life. The general election of ’08 was a massive con job, perpetrated by the lamestream media and George Soros- not to mention Saul Alinsky, who is Obama’s real mentor, rather than Jeremiah Wright, as Obama claims.
Well ,you did’nt earn those medals yourself ,dearleader was there to take credit and pass blame,and if you have any ablity it’s because the crazy fool in the white house “healed the planet and stopped the seas from rising”,except in Japan and Thailand and Indonesia. He’s not superman or really even much of a man !
