Silencing Dissent In America

Mute SC Silencing Dissent in America

Freedom in America is endangered. Bipartisan complicity plans destroying it altogether.

America is on a fast track toward tyranny and ruin. Police state laws threaten everyone.

Increasingly, dissent is marginalized. It’s not tolerated. Resistance is called dangerous to National Security.

Federal authorities target activists. So do militarized local police. No-holds-barred tactics are employed.

  1. Everything, should be taken with a grain of salt. Freedom is a right but, logic tells us that we must not abuse our gifts. That is our problem, we have abused them. Women’s Lib, Unions Democrats all had a reason for being. They fought and struggled against great odds. They won, now we all have lost. They took their marching band to extremes. That is what we have now, groups abusing the right. The biggest abuser of these rights today is the Black Coalition and Gay Rights.

    • The problem with your position is that your state that “freedom is a right”, which is true, but you continue by saying, “we must not abuse our [rights]“. No one can abuse his rights. He may, however infringe on other person’s rights, That is when what you term “abuse” happens.

Freedom is not a one-sided coin. The reverse of personal rights is personal responsibilities. The adage, “your right to swing your fist ends at the tip of my nose,” explains it. You do, indeed have the right to swing your fist. But you have no right to harm my. My right to have my nose retain its shape supersedes yours to swing your fist. When you infringe my right, you are not abusing yours, because you have no right to harm me.
