Bialek worked in the Chicago offices of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) for approximately six months. In 1997, she approached Cain about returning to her own job or to the Chicago-based state affiliate. Below is Sharon Bialek’s press conference:

Thank you, Mr. Levin!!! This story is a pathetic attempt to destroy Herman Cain. After it was discovered that the first three accusers wouldn’t be speaking out, and Mr. Cain’s poll numbers and fund raising efforts remained intact, someone made the desperate decision to hire this hack and throw Gloria Allred in for good measure. This is the same scenario we witnessed in the political assassination of Meg Whitman in California last year against her Democratic opponent. Whoever is behind this is counting on the fact that many people believe everything they hear, whether there is any truth to it or not. All we can do is hope that these people are concerned enough about the state our country is in right now to concentrate on the real issues and see this character assassination for what it is — an attempt to destroy the only other black candidate in the presidential race now that he’s becoming a very possible threat. Obama’s race card is being seriously threatened. Wake up America!!
