WASHINGTON — The Senate Intelligence Committee is scheduled to vote on President Barack Obama’s pick to lead the CIA after weeks of wrangling with the White House over access to top-secret information about the use of lethal drone strikes against terror suspects and the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.
The committee’s chairwoman, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said the panel would move ahead Tuesday with John Brennan’s nomination to lead the spy agency even as Republicans said they were frustrated with the Obama administration’s reluctant disclosure of all the records. Feinstein would not describe the material the committee has received because it is classified.
“Certain documents have been made available to members,” she said Monday.
Brennan’s nomination has been held up as Democrats and Republicans on the intelligence panel have been pressing the Obama administration to provide them with a series of classified Justice Department legal opinions that justify the use of unmanned spy planes to kill terror suspects overseas, including American citizens. The senators have argued they can’t perform adequate oversight without reviewing the contents of the documents.
Key Senate Republicans have said they will oppose Brennan’s nomination unless they get classified information, including emails among top U.S. national security officials, detailing the Obama administration’s actions immediately following the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

As I have said many times in the past. It make no difference who Obama appoints or nominates, they WILL be approved and confirmed! No one dare go against the Obama machine!!!
The once relatively conservative party, the opposition to the left and the democrats, the republican party, has outlived its usefulness. It is so steeped in RINO establishment thinking and so populated by these useless, spineless political wags that it, the republican party, should simply be abandoned by the grassroots whence we should form our own party. A new grassroots party of patriotic conservatives would eventually (how long?) cause the republican party to vanish by winning more and more seats in Congress. Can we afford to wait that long? Probably not, so it would have to be phased in with each election gaining more seats in the Congress until the remaining republicans are few and far between. I’ve no doubt Obama, if he’s still able, will run for reelection in 2016, the Constitution presenting no barrier to him and his supporters whose numbers will have increased to a majority by then. No one including the judiciary will challenge him. The only choice remaining then will be removing him by force and I rather imagine that can be arranged. Would you not agree?
As to the republicans presently in Congress, I really think they would be doing everyone a favor if they would just pack up and leave town and never return. I mean, really, what good are they. They’re just a pimple on Obama’s posterior. If they choose to stay they should rename their party, The Caveman Party because that’s all they are. Remember the guy who ran as the VP with Romney, Paul Ryan, the supposed conservative who was in favor of and campaigned with Romney for the repeal of Obamacare? He intends to vote in favor of the “Continuing Resolution” which is budget speak for continuing spending at the same level as Obama and the democrats did in 2012, minus the sequestered funds. That means that Obamacare will be fully funded, not one dime of reduction while other programs are being cut by Obama and his bureaucratic thugs under the sequester. In other words Ryan will vote to codify once and for all that Obamacare is officially a bipartisan law of the land making the prospects of ever repealing it moot.
And this other guy who has aspirations of being president, Rand Paul, he’s another liar who voted to confirm Hagel with the amazing pronouncement that “well I think the president should have the latitude to choose who he wants to serve in his cabinet.” Oh really Senator? Why even bother to go through what amounts to a kangaroo court of public hearings for the sake of “Advice and Consent” by the Senate on presidential appointments? Just get out your rubber stamp Senator, the one that reads: “Whatever the President wants, the President gets.” Rand Paul like his daddy is a sad joke, a liar and a cheat.
I curse them ALL and wish death on them….I am not a person who shows hatred…but they have brought the worst out of me on learning how to HATE. I curse them and their families and wish death to them ALL. Please forgive me…but we are being taken down by a Communist/Marxist leading in this country. If you cannot see this, then you are truly a sick puppy!!! I love my country, my flag, my pledge of Allegiance and OUR Constitution. My dad was a POW in WORLD WAR II and missing in action in Germany for 18 months as a prisoner of the Germans. He received the Purple Heart and the Silver Cross for completing so many missions. ALL the fallen soldiers through the years died for nothing to protect our country, flag and Constitution due to power and greed hungry non-Americans running our Congress, Senate, House and the White house. REID, PELOSI, BARNEY FRANKS, OBAMA, VALERIE JARRETT, and many more I curse with the Lord laying his hands on them and destroying them in every area…Obummer and Michelle can take their ALLAH and shove it where the sun don’t SHINE! There is only ONE GOD not their destructive idol ALLAH and Muslim brotherhood.
