WASHINGTON — The Senate Judiciary Committee has approved stiff federal penalties for illegally trafficking guns.
It’s the first vote in Congress to curb firearms since December’s horrific shootings at a Connecticut elementary school.

Maybe the Senate and Congress needs to start ENFORCING this law among their very own people! You can begin with Eric Holder and his Fast and Furious gang of thieves. But I’m sure the law doesn’t apply to people of special rank and privileges as it only applies to us commoners. How does it feel to be deemed a “commoner” by your political ruling elite?

I don’t like the idea of any new gun laws. I do feel that the old ones should be enforced. Purchasing a weapon for anyone that can’t personally get one has been against the law for a long time. The 25 year bit may be different but that isn’t such a bad idea. I feel that this is a lot to do about nothing. Those of us that have weapons tucked away & not planning to be trafficking them, have nothing to be concerned about. Keep them loaded & locked!!!
