The TSA is claiming that the senator was not detained, which would directly contradict the Constitution. According to the statement released by the TSA, Rand Paul was quickly escorted off the premises, never detained. But as can be seen in this video, the Senator is obviously constrained to the confines of the glass box with a police officer maintaining a watch for a considerable amount of time.
Additionally, the Nashville International Airport police stated that Rand was “irate” in their report; but watch this video and decide for yourself how accurate their statements are:

The TSA lied, anytime you are ordered by alleged authorities to stay in a particular area and not allowed to move or proceed to your desired destination you are being detained. Period. Senator Rand Paul was forced to stay in the glass cubical with armed guards (police) outside of the cubical as well as TSA agents inside the cubicle. This is an unconstitutional detainment.
Looks more like fat ass TSA agents throwing their perceived weight or “authority” around, it also looks as if the Senator was sitting quietly, the tsa is just trying to save face,where is the footage that would prove their lies ? I certainly hope this will come back to bite the TSA in the butt.
