One pundit remarked that if all fifty states secede, there would be nothing to secede from.
So it becomes sort of a funny concept.
But Barack Obama is no laughing matter.
America is sick of going to the vomitorium each morning after learning of some new Obama abomination.
We were busy being sick during the past presidential election, learning of the massive voter fraud, sabotaged voting machines, or the fact that Obama mailed out absentee ballots to our troops overseas too late to make a difference or “lost” them. They even had the gall to tell us a plane “crashed and burned” that contained absentee ballots en route to our troops in Afghanistan. (Any details of the crash mysteriously went down the memory hole).
But that is only half of Obama’s contempt for the rule of law, contempt for the Constitution.
His “we can’t wait for Congress to act” attitude translates into blatantly spurning Congress and making law by executive order, most recently his pseudo-Dream act, conferring amnesty on hundreds of thousands of illegals.
Or his illegal Libyan war, where Defense Secretary Leon Panetta went before Congress and said Obama didn’t need Congress’ approval to topple Gaddafi—he only needed the UN’s approval.
But probably the most onerous aspect of the Obama presidency is his seeking to nullify the Second Amendment via a UN “gun treaty.”
Secessionist and just regular American citizens are buying guns in droves in anticipation that Obama and his blue-helmeted “peacekeepers” will determine that the right to bear arms no longer applies in the United States.
Will the secessionist movement, which now numbers in the hundreds of thousands and is fast approaching a million, lead to anything?
Will it in fact lead to the impeachment of the abomination known as Barack Hussein Obama?
Time will tell.

I believe in gun control. To me gun control is a steady hand, a deep breath let out slowly and a slow squeeze of the trigger. One shot, one hit and blue helmuts make a really great target in the cross hairs. Zero your rifles then save your ammo. You might need every round.

CONgress IS the reason we are even having to do this. CONgress has sat by and allowed us, no! CONgress has PUSHED us to this point by their actions and inaction. It is CONgress and the Supreme Court who stomped on the U.S. Constitution to pursue their own political agendas and for CONgress, reelection and wealth. IF CONgress had a backbone, there would be no obama in power today. CONgress started this fall in the 60′s when they began kissing the arses of special interest groups big time! The 60′s is when democrats began giving up their party to socialists.

But would it truly be a “Civil War”? The War of Northern Aggression was incorrectly called a Civil War. A Civil War is usually between two or more factions trying to overthrow and take control of the government of a Country. Just as the South had no desire to fight in 1861, it had no desire to take over the Federal Government. Much like the intent of these secession actions today, they simply wanted to leave the Union and form their own government. The current Federal government, our CONgress, and Supreme Court are broken, bought, and follow the dictates of their passions, not the Constitution. If there be war, there will be nothing “Civil” about it, and those people will not allow their cash cow to leave peacefully. From Lincoln quotes: “Why not let the South go in peace?” Lincoln replied: “I can’t let them go. Who would pay for the government?”
This is so simple even one of obama’s mental midgets should be able to figure it out. We have a “president” that is violating the law and the Constitution. We have a “CONgress” that is sitting by and watching. Our “representatives” are allowing everything to happen, and are not bringing his actions to the floor and protecting us or our Constitution. What else are we to do? Those whose job it is to take care of this, aren’t doing their job. That leaves us three options. Become like Nazi Germany or the USSR, have a violent revolution and overthrow our government, or secede from the Union. By their inaction, CONgress is complicit in this atrocity. As we won’t go peacefully into subjugation, they might want to consider the secession option!

Big problem though. If you want to sign the secession petition you have to fill out the whitehouse.org web site. I’m guessing the IRS, EPA, NSA, FBI will all be very interested in your business.

These agencies also have a knack of ignoring Obama crimes.
The fear I see in so many posts on here is sickening. If you’re afraid to sign a petition, we certainly can’t count on your to actually DO anything if the time comes. The big problem with secession is that the government is so intertwined with all aspects of our lives that they can refuse to issue SS checks and medicare to those that are are eligible. They also control the education of most of our children, whether it be public schools or higher learning. They have control over the value of the dollar and most big banks and the stock markets where we have our IRA’s and annuities.
Only the corporations and retail markets can hurt the government by not withholding taxes at all levels from their employees and to not pay the government state and federal income taxes. The proper place to start would be the large retail outlets like Walmart and Home Depot. Without that money, our government would dry up in less than a week. The majority of the people would be on the side of the retailers and corporations for not deducting taxes from their paychecks. It is OUR money! The government has made tax collectors out of our corporations and retailers. This is the way that the government steals from the working class! We can say to the government: “If you want your taxes from me, come and get it! We outnumber them. We need to build a fire under the retailers and corporations! As far as the banks are concerned, they are manipulators of our money. They do not produce wealth without investing in the markets s (China) that use cheaper labor than ours. Our government doesn’t mind that everything we buy comes from overseas. If we bought only American made goods, the prices would be a lot higher. The government knows that when we save costs by buying cheaper goods, they can raise our taxes since we would not mind as much. To top it all, the government is held hostage by our debt to the Chinese. This may be one of the reasons that the US wants to be part of a One World Government, where everyone lives by the same rules, laws and especially one currency.
What would that do? Simple, our wages would go down and the “third world” countries would go up. The standard of living would start to balance out, but would take many years because of the different cultures. The big question is: Which government would be in charge? The Democrats want the Communist style governments to be in charge and the Republicans want the Traditional Constitutional representative Republic to be in charge. With our weakening military under Obama, the Totalitarian governments would rule. I believe Obama wants the Muslim governments to unite and take control. They have the largest number of people and they have plenty of oil money.
