Despite being among some of the world’s most famous celebrities, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin took the opportunity during Time magazine’s recent “100 Most Influential People in the World” gala to strike back at the rather unfriendly New York media.
At times, it seemed that the other “influential” honorees at the dinner were paying homage to Palin.
“Photographers, fans, and, yes, reporters like us swarmed her from the second she walked in the room with husband Todd and her 9-year-old daughter Piper,” New York reports on its website.
Film director “Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann practically jumped her for a photo op — though, granted, they did the same to Betty White.”
Although the mainstream media often lambaste Palin, she said she was happy to be in New York and talked fondly about jogging in Central Park.
