Rumor has it that when Dr. Ron Paul was first approached and was asked to run for President in the 2008 election cycle, he said he didn’t want to be President. He was told that he couldn’t win anyway, and with that, he decided to run. He could get his ideas out and educate the public on the evils of the Federal Reserve banking system and how to change it. The idea of Liberty and self responsibility could be spread once again across this great land. Did the rumor have any basis in fact? I do not know, but his incredible success in the 2008 election cycle helped to get the conversation about the Fed started, and it continues today. Now we know, and we can’t “unknow” it.
It has also been said that anyone who wants to be the President of the United States of America is automatically unqualified. I agree. Of the 300 million+ people in this land, there are less than 2 dozen who aspire to the the office of President of the United States of America. When a new casino opens in Las Vegas, Nevada, there are thousands of applicants for the few card dealing jobs available. The lines of applicants are long for the jobs of maids, groundskeepers, janitors, and secretaries, but the job of President of the United States of America has few applicants.
Anyone who will spend other people’s money to tell us how great he or she is should be put in a small room with padded walls and windows that can’t be reached. The one who shouts the loudest of how great he or she is should be put under guard and watched 24/7. The pandering fool currently being provided free room and board at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D. C. has been the loudest narcissist here of late. Megalomania is a serious psychological problem. Many with that disease are locked up and force-fed drugs. But more than 500 of them are living and working in that swamp – and breathing the swamp gases – of Washington, District of Criminals. Who in their right mind would want to be the leader of such a motley gathering of men and women? And who in their right mind would want to be part of that crew?
Aaron Russo’s movie America: Freedom to Fascism, informed us of the history of the evildoers of the last century and their plans of a One World Government. Edward Griffin’s book The Creature from Jekyl Island informed us of the people involved and how the Federal Reserve banking system came about. Now we know, and we can’t “unknow” it. For most of the American people, the Fed is now in their lexicon. It cost tens of millions of little green pieces of paper, and perhaps billions of words spewed from keyboards and mouths, but still only a small percentage of the dollars and words spent on hiding the destruction done to the greatest country in the known history of the human race. To take over and control the education system in order to instill in the millions of young minds that the government is all powerful, and God should not be allowed in our lives, was not cheap nor was it easy. That nefarious group of scoundrels that brought us the Federal Reserve also gave us the less-than-great education system with which we punish our children. That is not to take away from the millions of men and women who taught, because they too are a product of the same system.
When Congressman Ron Paul announced that he would not campaign during the remainder of the primary season but asked that his supporters continue getting delegates that would support him at the convention in Tampa, many of his supporters, myself among them, were angry and dismayed. Nasty things were said and written. After a day or so, though, the heat went down, and cooler thoughts were thought.
Dr. Paul actually promotes the idea of divesting the office of the President of much of the power amassed in that office. While all the rest of the field are braying about what they will be doing for us if we give them all of our money and our firstborn, if we are allowed to have a firstborn, Dr. Paul talks of self-responsibility and self-regulation. Freedom, what a novel idea! It has only been around since man.
Dr. Paul promotes peace, the dream of man since man could dream. Dr. Paul promotes the idea that we should own ourselves and our property. Marx, Hitler, Clinton, Bush, Romney, and the fool in the White House, along with Mao, Castro, and Chavez, think otherwise.
If the chief narcissist is re-elected, or if the hairdo from Massachusetts is elected, the dark ages loom before us as the tsunami loomed over Japan.
We must send as many delegates for Dr. Ron Paul as possible to Tampa, Florida. He can win the nomination, and even a desultory campaign can put him in the White House. I believe he would serve, though reluctantly, and do a much better job than any in the last 100 years.
George Washington refused to accept the title of King. He served well and was relieved to be out of the office. Thomas Jefferson barely campaigned for his second term as President. They were good men and true. The good doctor, Congressman Ron Paul, is of that caliber.
Peace.

ron paul we the people by me,and i mean everyone i know respects, applauds, and voted for you,and will vote for you again, god bless you ron paul, sheriff joe and cold case posse and all american veterans and all american citizens.one nation under god
I never lost trust for one second, Ron’s acumen is unexcelled in today’s political venue.
Dr. Paul is simply being forthcoming about the futility of wasting his donors’ money (We The People,) over and over again proving that the establishment owns the voting machines and that they will cheat at all costs to keep him from upsetting their applecart, since it is clear that the media will continue to completely ignore this fact.
He has instead decided to focus his finances on what is proving to be a winning strategy, that of winning delegates at local, county, and state levels, and of winning GOP chairmanships and other offices as well at those levels.
The other aspect of this strategy I am not sure the politically naive can appreciate is that this kind of statement will lull many would-be Romney supporters to not show up for primaries and not turn out for local conventions, since they are addicted to the lamestream drivel and believe the canard that their man’s candidacy is a done deal. That’s right, the old rope-a-dope.
Their preoccupation with counting unhatched chickens plays into the hands of the Paul camp, since it is composed of those who, to a man, are all too aware of the life or death struggle the coming election represents for America, as contrasted against the somnambulistic Romney constituency, who’s bile is aimed at the wrong enemy, and who’s ardor will dissipate should their candidate be successful.
This is the threat America faces, that the outrage will evaporate once Obama is out and Romney will have the mandate and the newly abed constituency along with the corrupted rubber stamp congress, to accomplish the finishing touches to the New World Order agenda of elimination of the constitution and bill of rights, particularly the second amendment, since the black faced Obama has only inspired its strengthening and that’s about the only right remaining after the previous 4 administrations have got done with them.
My thinking is in line with the author. I voted for Ron Paul, in early voting, in spite of him conceding his candidacy. Of all candidates that ran and dropped out and of the ones still running. Ron Paul, I believe is the best candidate for the job of President. He did awaken, in many of us, what the American dream is still about. I realize he is up in years but that only enhances his experience in politics, common sense, beliefs in God and family and his faith in the intelligence of ‘we, the common, people.’ He is a Constitutionalist, Conservative and Christian.
That is what this Great Nation needs, now more than ever.
Old saying, “God doesn’t call the qualified…He calls the unqualified and qualifies them”.
I believe God has called Ron Paul as President and I also believe we should hang in there with RP and get those electoral votes he needs to win the nomination.
I have heard many people say “Ron Paul cannot win” So they say they will vote for the lessor of 2 evils. Of course Paul cannot win if people keep that attitude. Instead of giving up on Paul support him!!! Ifyou think Romney would be a good POTUS then you have done your research or just looked at the research that made you feel good. Do not believe what the Media tell you. Seek the truth!!!
bobman101,
I wish that was the ONLY reason RP can not win or that I can not support him. I do whole heartedly support many of his ideas and believe they should be part of the Platform or hold an office in finance.
RP is too old if you look at several incidents during his debates in which he rambled and seemed to lose his concentration totally as many people have commented on.
RP is an issolationist in a time period that we CAN NOT survive as the last country standing against the rest of the world. That could have worked before WW II — no longer. We need to stand with our friends.
We can not gut our military because there are many countries waiting out there for us to weaken so they can take over their neighbor countries or eventually us. Our national security is partly dependent on our friends.
RP doesn’t even claim to be an expert on creating jobs so we can recover fincancially.
RP supporters are the real problem. Ron Paul himself does not engage in saying rediculous things but his supporters do in almost every post. They listen to each other and parrot everything said as the gospel truth and reject everything in defense of any other candidate. Most RP supporters don’t do any research that doesn’t fit in with their brainwashed prior idea of what they believe. One of the most rediculous and telling statements that many of you make is that “Romney is just like Obama” or “Romney is a liberal.”
I ask you Bob, if that isn’t rediculous & destructive? If many of your compatriots didn’t engage in such statements, we would take you seriously.
I understand what you are saying Evelyn, but I believe that RP would make a better POTUS than Romney. RP would lead according to OUR Constitution. He has never flip flopped. He means what he says and says what he means. I know he will stand by what he says he will do if elected. I cannot say that about Romney. I was going to add more, but I just read what Robert Walker wrote, below, and I agree with him.
Government nor the POTUS can create jobs. The government can create an atmosphere where the private sector can hire more people, buy new equipment etc. BHO should have given all that stimulus money to the people. That would have stimulated the economy. When BHO bragged about all the new jobs on the books he failed to mentioned they are on the Government payroll who are paid by the taxpayer. Of course we will see what happens after the election. Myself I do not see how BHO will be ousted out of office. I think he will remain until his string pulling puppet masters no longer have use for him.
Evelyn:
I think I hear where you’re coming from loud and clear. We don’t judge someone by what they say or promise. We judge them by what they’ve done.
Bobman101 would do well to research http://www.romneyexposed.com/2011/06/20/an-open-letter-about-mitt-romney-from-conservatives/ including all 88 footnotes of documentation.
While he’s at it he might also examine Romney’s business acumen and management skills. Check it out Bobman101: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article31153.htm
What they hey! He might as well inform himself on all the GOP candidates http://gulagbound.com/tag/kelleigh-nelsons-phony-rightwing-series/#.T7FpTVLhdTo . After all, how else can one honestly come to a rational conclusion, enabling them to confidently and intelligently vote for the one that is best for all of us. Evelyn, you check ‘em out too; then you can have a real talk with Bobman101.
Ignorance destroys,
Scott Stephens
Thank you so much Scott for the links. Much appreciated! You are so right when you say ignorance destroys. There are too many people who listen to the Media and to what makes them feel good. I vote for the person. Party means nothing to me!!! If the person is on the same page as I he/she will get my vote. So far RP is on the same page as me. He believes as I do on the Federal Reserve, I do not think we should go to war without Congress’s declaration and he thinks the same as I on immigration. Here are my thoughts on immigration: Deny all benefits (incentives) to all illegal immigrants.
Amend the 14 Ammendent. No more anchor babies.
Establish English as the official language of the United States.
If you are caught aiding, abetting, renting, or hiring an illegal immigrant you will be fined $25,000 and 1 year in jail. 2nd time, $50,000 fine and 5 years in jail.(mandatory)
I would let it be known if you are caught sneaking across our border you will be shot and your body will be tossed back across the border dead or alive; but then I am just a uncompassionate racist, bigot, homophobic, Viet Nam patriotic vet who loves MY Country and I am willing to die for it!
I would create a National ID card with the person’s picture, their SS#, their finger print along with a hologram that cannot be duplicated which has to be presented to any law enforcer when asked. This is for your own protection, not to intimidate you.
Yeah yeah I know there are people who are really against the shooting part, but if a couple of the trespassers are shot and wounded (not killed) thrown back across the border and they thought we were shooting to kill, it would definatly send a loud and clear message to the rest to think twice before attempting to sneak across.
Bingo! problem solved. Compassion and understanding go just so far. If you knock on my door I will invite you in. If you try to sneak in or break in then you will suffer the consequences!!!
People say RP is too old. What is too old. Tell that to Betty White. lol. If RP could talk Allen West in being his VP he would win this election, If he died we would still have a good no BS POTUS. people want to listen to MR, because he is tall, handsome, and a smooth talker. There are women who will say they do not care about what I just said, but down deep there is a majority of women who will vote for him for those reasons.
People also say RP cannot win. They are right if people give up on him. We can always write his name on the ballot. Others have told me there has never been a person with a write in vote who has won. First time for everything!! Out of the candidates remaining I still believe in my heart that RP is the best for the job!
Evelyn,
If one does one’s due diligence, one will find that Romney does not seem to stand for upholding the second amendment, nor ending the illegal, unconstitutional, undeclared wars, and Romney was the architect for the socialistic Obamacare. The most telling item in the long list, though, are the contributors to the two campaigns. The contributors are basically the same – huge banks and corporations. While the three largest contributors to Ron Paul’s Campaign are the troops now serving: 1, The U.S. Air Force members, 2. The U. S. Army Troops, and 3. The U. S. Navy Sailors.
Romney’s ideas are rather liberal. He wants the government to take care of you and me. I want the government to leave me the hell alone.
Peace,
Robert Walker
I have seriously considered whether or not I will even vote in this election. I believe it is truly UNPATRIOTIC to vote within the system as it is now constituted, because of the divide and conquer aspect of right vs left, with no other options even viable. The only exception I will make is if RP makes the ballot, at which point, I will wonder whether or not there is even a remote possibility that any of our votes will be taken seriously, or whether (as I have believed for a long, long time) that those occupying the halls of Washington DC are put into office by selection instead of election. I have hope for the future, but not if this system remains in place. Division is what keeps us at each other’s throats, unable to unite behind a common cause for the best of our country (which is long gone as well). We will have to reinhabit what is left of America if she is to resurface and recover.
Please DrMichelle VOTE! You do not have to chose between 2 evils. VOTE who you think is the best for the job by writing in their name. If everyone decided not to vote I am sure there are some people somewhere who will rejoice. I think there was a time in the past a seed was planted and has been nourished in the hopes it would grow to the point that in the US people got so discouraged they reached the point of not voting. Where would this Country be if no one voted? There are third World country’s who have a better voter turn-out than the US does. That is really pathetic!!! We are being destroyed from within. All the enemy has to do is have patience. If you do not vote then there will be a lot of men, women and children who died for NOTHING!!!!!
Bob I see where you are coming from, however, my perspective is that if ‘everyone stopped voting’ the powers that be would see that we do not accept their premise of divide and conquer. Supposedly each candidate is against the very stuff that is perpetuated when we ‘vote’ them in. Again, i don’t even really believe our votes mean diddly squat in the first place. We have really lost any affect over the process long ago. If we refuse to accept their ‘premise’ then we take back our power.
I understand. All through history it takes a revolution to get a Country back. Seems to me that is where we are headed in the long run, because people are so discouraged about what is happening. They do nothing until they realize they are up against a wall and it boils down to their survival.
