Ron Paul Could Still Win Enough Delegates To Deny Romney The Republican Nomination

Ron Paul speech 3 SC 300x199 Ron Paul Could Still Win Enough Delegates To Deny Romney The Republican Nomination

Despite what you may have heard from the mainstream media, Mitt Romney does not have the Republican nomination locked up. In fact, he is rapidly losing delegates that almost everyone assumed that he already had in the bag. To understand why this is happening, you have to understand the delegate selection process. Each state has different rules for selecting delegates to the Republican national convention, and in many states the “voting” done by the public does not determine the allocation of delegates to particular candidates at all. And the truth is that delegates are the only thing that really matters in this race. In state after state, the Ron Paul campaign is focusing on the delegate selection process with laser-like precision, and it is paying off big time. At this point, there is still a legitimate chance that Ron Paul will be able to win enough delegates to deny Mitt Romney the nomination on the first ballot at the Republican national convention in Tampa. If Romney does not have the 1,144 delegates that he needs on the first ballot, then it becomes a brokered convention and anything becomes possible at that point.

Sadly, most Americans have no idea how this process really works.

For example, originally we were all told that Mitt Romney won Iowa.

Then, later on we were told that a mistake was made and that Rick Santorum actually won Iowa.

Well, it turns out that Ron Paul actually won 20 out of the 28 delegates in Iowa. That is because the process of actually selecting the delegates occurred long after the voting by the public was over.

  1. …and why is it we only hear about Romney in the media today? Could it be because they WANT a Romney vs Obama match-up? They have determined who the players are all by themselves.

I’m afraid we are doomed because the vast majority of American’s get their information from the dive by media and don’t know how to think for themselves.

  2. Dadman, I must disagree with you that we are doomed. At the Republican State Convention in Sparks, Nevada, the Paul camp received 22 of 25 delegates. We still have a very good chance of electing Paul in the fall.
We only here about Romney because of the reason you gave, the Obummer vs. the Hairdo is what is wanted by the Sewer Main Media. But with publications such as this one and the you tube videos, we can change the outcome to favor the election of a Constitutional loving President.
    Peace, Robert Walker

  3. If Ron wins the nomination he could win the election if he chooses Allen West as his VP!

  4. Ron Paul is no different than Obama, taking obama money to not drop out of the race

    • Really? This is what you come up with? There is no proof of anything of the sort.

Keep your eye on the ball… The drive-by media has hand picked the candidates.

      Drive-by Media = Liberals = Obama

They DON’T want a Ron Paul ticket to run against Obama.

  5. They are scared to death of the mighty Ron Paul!

  6. I have been doing a lot of reading lately about obama, and 1 question keeps coming back. Why are the Republican sitting on their hands. They have just has good of resources has the Democrats ,yet they choose to do nothing. Why?

    • Maybe the Republicans do not want to win. With a Democrat in office they have someone to blame for all that is going wrong. If BHO wins everyone is in for a big surprise.

    • I’ve thought about this too and I’ve come to the conclusion that they all know Obama is not legally eligible to be President of the United States but rather than do something that would tear us apart as a nation they are hoping to win the election and correct the mistake that way. In their line of thinking, that is the most politically safe way to move forward.

  7. I believe at least 2 months before any election all election coverage should not be allowed until the election is over and the results are in. The Media has too much control over the results of an election.
I also think polls and exit polls are a waste of time. Polls should not be allowed. I know several people who have lied when a pollster called them ay home or interviewed them at an exit poll. There are also people who will hear that a news outlet, ABC,CBS, NBC etc make a statement we can now say that so=in-so is the winner, who will either turn around and go back home, because they think they are wasting their time and there are people who will still go to the polls and change their vote and vote for the predicted winner, because they what to say they voted for the winner. There is really no reason why we need to hear anything about how an election until a winner is declared. No need to see how many votes each candidate has or the states they carry. I hear the Media say, but the people have the right and a need to know. BS How is that beneficial or why do we need to know??? All we need to know is who won!
