Reporting from St. Louis— Mitt Romney drew a warm reception from the National Rifle Assn. on Friday as he attacked President Obama for “employing every imaginable ruse and ploy” to restrict gun rights, which Romney pledged not to do if elected in November.
Although gun control groups have complained that Obama has done little to support their cause, Romney took a page from the NRA leadership, which has been saying that the president is waiting for a second term to crack down on firearms. He warned that Obama would “remake” the Supreme Court in a second term, threatening constitutional freedoms.
“In a second term, he would be unrestrained by the demands of re-election,” Romney told a crowd estimated at 6,000 in the cavernous Edward Jones Dome. “As he told the Russian president last month when he thought no one else was listening, after a re-election he’ll have a lot more, quote, ‘flexibility’ to do what he wants. I’m not exactly sure what he meant by that, but looking at his first three years, I have a very good idea.”

Wow I’m Impressed with his words. Romney for President may not be so bad after all. At least he cares about America even if we don’t agree on everything. Maybe he’s learning and listening to the people as he campaigns…that would be novel. Most of the GOP elite are rotten to the core, and we are not fooled by them. We are electing replacements as fast as we can and we won’t stop. If Romney has seen the writing on the wall, has he seen how most likely we won’t have an election?
Never forget that Romney admitted in 2002 that he might be a Republican by being a member of the party, but he was actually a progressive. A person who says one thing, joins a party representing one political viewpoint but practicing another is like a muslim: They believe in the words that say they can lie to the infidel. Romney is a liberal, pure and simple; he can lie in order to push the liberal agenda.
The alternative is way worse.
Those Democrats when they lose will keep trouble going for at least half Romneys term. They will keep court cases going until there is nothing going on but court cases.
The left will keep on an agenda to ruin this country, so whatever Romney does, if elected will have to be some major crack down on all this mess going on, until they get back under their rocks. His best bet would be to have Obama arrested and all those who are attempting to overthrow this country, if he does not do this, he will have no time to do anything but deal with these people one way or the other. It is not going to be easy by any means, but losing is not an option if we are to stay a Republic.
