DENVER (OfficialWire) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says the upcoming presidential debate isn’t about winning and losing.

Romney arrived in Denver on Monday ahead of his Wednesday matchup with President Barack Obama. He told a crowd of thousands at a rally that the debates are about “something bigger” than who wins.

  1. Romney it`s all about who wins the debate. In politics nice guy`s get buried. Get mad, get mean or lose.

    • Agreed, but it matters HOW you say it. How about this? –
Romney (to moderator & Obozo): My plan for America is pretty much the same that my father envisioned long ago – a place where free enterprise in the private sector rules the day and helps any entreprenuer, no matter what age, to build a business without having big government intervene, intrude upon, unfairly regulate or have it taken over by that government, and in order to do that he knew we needed a free society and a completely sovereign nation built from a capitalistic model.

I recently read a book that was a little disturbing, maybe because I didn’t quite understand it, and I didn’t exactly get those same American ideas my father had mentioned, nor did I feel any of those ideas were a particularly good fit for America. Since you wrote that book, Mister president, entitled “Dreams From My Father”, maybe you can explain some of it here tonight and clear up my confusion and so we can all understand better what those ‘dreams’ really mean for America. And please, don’t be brief.

      • What Reagan might say to Obama:
What Reagan might say today (in a summation at the debates), since he dealt with communism in his own way, and if we give this president another four years, he may become another Gorbechev (or worse):

Mister President, in my opinion, you are dividing, not uniting this great country, and before the American people give your four more years of your destructive agenda in their White House, they need some explanation as to your actions to date. Mister President, “tear down this wall” of dislike you seem to have for this great country and it’s great world-friendly people who so graciously put you there!
