Much has been made about Mitt Romney, in 1983, putting his family dog Seamus in a kennel on top of his roof and driving from Boston to Canada, with said canine Seamus making his displeasure known in a rather scatological way.
Democrats have signaled they have every intention of making sure the American people — especially dog-lovers — know the tale. In January, senior Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod tweeted a photo of the president and Bo in a car, with the snide observation: “@davidaxelrod: How loving owners transport their dogs.”
The Romney campaign signaled Tuesday night that they are not about to cede any ground when it comes to a candidate’s odd past with man’s best friend.
And the Obama campaign shot back, with a spokesman suggesting the Romney team was attacking a child, since the Obama act in question took place when he was a kid.
The Daily Caller noted that in President Obama’s best-selling memoir, “Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance,” the president recalls being fed dog meat as a young boy in Indonesia with his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro.

Romney is a MORON. As a kid, you ate what your parents put on the table.
In Indonesia they ate dog. This is not anything new.

As a young soldier in The Republic of Korea back in ’70 I was quite fond of dog served in an eggroll type of dish. I belive it was called yakamondo or something like that. It was rather good.
This whole issue of eating Dog or carrying a dog in a dog cage on top of a car is a political red herring that has nothing to do with what makes a good president. Just because Comrade Obama was feed dog as a child does not prove whether he lost his citizenship when he was adopted .to a Muslim stepfather. He was educated as a Muslim , he has acknowledged that he is a Muslim, The Muslin World knows he is Muslim , when the hell is the Liberal press, the Union going to realize that they are being used to destroy The Freedom of people in the US
Anyone that knows anything about dogs knows that they love to stick there heads out of car window all the time. Many hunters carry their dog in the back of their pickup trucks and the dogs love it. Get real and get to the issue do we want a Communist illegal alien president or an American business man?
Do we want A Communist that is using The EPA to close down factories , bakeries pizza shops because they exhaust CO2 ? Do we want to pay $5 to $7 for a one pound loaf of bread because the bakeries have to put in CO2 scrubbers on their ovens or pay large fines?
Lets get to the real issues “give us liberty or slavery under the Comrade Obama & Union slave master!
I am not real crazy about a dog being transported in a cage secured to the top of the car, but where is it different from all those people who put their dogs in the back of pickups unsecured and go tearing down the road at 70 miles an hour. Many of those dogs die when they are thrown out or fall out. What about all the people who go down the road with their windows wide open and their dog hanging out. Many dogs die that way. How about all the morons who drive around with their dog sitting in their laps while they are driving. At least Romney’s dog was secured. I have had dogs that would have loved to be in the wind on top of the car like that. To me, crazy, but I’m not a dog!

Actually, several American Indian tribes, most notably the Cheyenne, were forced at times to eat dog meat to survive. The primary difference is that it was a matter of survival and not a matter of choice, or preference, like it is in Asia.

I’m sure Baracka doesn’t eat dog anymore…because we all see how skinny he’s getting, I understand it’s because as soon as Michelle hears any kind of meat hit any plate she gobbles it down. She gives a whole new definition to the term ‘dog fart’. I hear they’re going to a fund raising dinner at Michael Vic’s and they’re having chihuahua ala mode for dessert. With Bill Clinton you had to worry about him being in a room with your wife, mother or daughter, with Soebarkah you can’t leave him in a room with your Pekinese and if it’s a male Pekinese you can’t leave him with it in the back seat of a limo. That gives a new definition to dinner after sex. Have you seen Michelle’s new Poodle Skirt? No, but have you seen my poodle? I retract my previous statement that, Obama was even unqualified to be Dog Catcher.
If this is all Romney and Obama have to talk about during this campaign, then we’re in huge trouble.
How about talking about issues, high gas prices, unemployment, taxes and other things that the voters will decide which man is best for the job. If we talk about THOSE things, then it will be a clear answer for whom we should vote, and it sure isn’t Obama.
