NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Official Wire) — Mitt Romney says Congress and the president should delay looming cuts in military and domestic spending for at least one year.
The Republican presidential contender said Friday during a campaign trip to Las Vegas that the cuts would be “terrible,” particularly for the military.
Congress approved the cuts as part of a deal to reduce the deficit. They were designed to help lawmakers come up with a better plan. But that didn’t happen — so the cuts are scheduled to go into effect next year.

Why is it always either the seniors or the military that get cut. Cut the governments pay checks for a change!!!!Our servicemen and women are way under paid for what they do for all of us. They deserve to have the most safe equipment when defending out country also.
I AGREE Stags43 Obama is taking the Military down. And you realize that the 500 million removed from Medicare was loaned to Solyndra. And I still want to hear about Huma Abidene Weiner. Where is the response to that.
This would give Romney the oppurtunity to make the cuts if made where they would not effect the most important of our citizens the military and seniors… Obama’s intention to weaken america and over run us with muslims.. 17,000 are brought here each month. Obama’s goal is to have 50 million here at the end of his next 4 yrs if he get re-elected. America is doomed because we have allowed this man to be in the WH.
