Robert Gibbs Successfully Deflects 13 Questions In A Row

It was almost like White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs turned into Wonder Woman and was using her magical silver bracelets to deflect the onslaught of questions from two reporters Thursday afternoon.

Gibbs, who only resembled the superhero in fending off the assailants (he wasn’t wearing a unitard or anything), managed to successfully not answer a question although it was asked of him 13 times in a row.
An awe-inspiring performance? Absolutely. But what else would you expect from the man who called the Obama White House the most transparent in the history of the nation.

Not that it was an important question.  Just if the White House tried to bribe U.S. Rep Joe Sestak to drop out of Pennsylvania’s Senate primary by promising him a big honking job.

And it’s not like this is a crazy rumor started by some tinfoil-wearing nut bag.  Sestak himself said it.  Numerous times.  As recently as Wednesday on CNN.

So was he offered a bribe or not?  ABC’s Jake Tapper took the first shot at Gibbs.

“Jake, I don’t have anything to add to what I said in March,” Gibbs replied.

  1. A real dull bulb. Perfect for the obama administration !!!

  2. Reminds me of the old days when Pravda was dishing out the same kind of garbage as Gibbs is now. I always think of Gibbs as "the pasty faced Russian Apparatchik". Indeed all of this stuff is extremely tiresome and disgusting! Who needs it? I even must wonder why the press even wants to interact with this loser?

  3. Let's hope it doesn't take too much more of this arrogance before the press corps (pronounced core ;-) wakes up!!!!

Surely they are beginning to realize they are being toyed with – they are simply puppets on a string…the Gibbsy loves to 'pull the strings'!!!!

I cannot believe these people who have supposedly attended good schools of journalism sometime in the past, are going to continue to accept this denigrating manner. Personally I would prefer to see the entire room of reporters walk out when the 'press secretary' takes to his favorite sport, that of belittling individuals.

Can ANYONE even imagine Tony Snow acting in such a manner?????????

If this were America, Obozo would soon be facing an impeachment hearing for his wrong doings. Oh, but wait, we have another thug as attorney general, abetted by dimocrats in congress who routinely play the see no, hear no, say no evil routine. An ill wind blows in America today, an ill wind that will destroy what has been if WE don't start standing erect and demanding the return of the rule of law!

not sure as a Patriotic American, we can do? Tea parties? marches on DC? over the past year we've done all that. they (elites) in dc could care less what We the People think, want or demand. What will change this? We can't become violent because that's what this Administration wants, so they can crack down with marshall law and let the real ruling begin.

I have this terrible fear in me that when the time comes for the average American to stand up to these thugs—that MOST of them will fall behind the few real leaders who actually stand UP–and then duck when the shots are fired.
I have a real fear that protecting their OWN butt and not those of the rest of the people, will prevail.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord…
