A nationwide appeal has been sent to gun owners and their families asking they go to their state capitol this Saturday, January 19, from noon to 3 p. m. to show support for our 2nd Amendment rights. In Florida, gun owners are asked to meet in the “middle of the state” at noon, at the Hernando County Fairgrounds, 6436 Broad St., Brooksville, FL 334601.
This urgent call to action is in response to the Barack Obama/Joe Biden/Dianne Feinstein legislative aim of imposing bans on arbitrarily selected groups of firearms and accessories. One North Carolina police lieutenant warns internet audiences that ”We’re in huge trouble.” A devout Christian, the 31 year police veteran tells listeners that “I cry. . .when guns are gone, you won’t be able to worship the Creator. ..gone. . .Freedoms gone.”
An officer who lives near the site of the Sandy Hook killings is concerned that “We are being set up to confiscate our guns. . .we can’t back away. . .these people are coming at us head on. . .we must tell our legislators…we will not tolerate confiscation or ban[s] on our guns.”
When asked what he thought about Obama wanting to take our guns, an elderly veteran at a Florida rec hall said “That’s not happening.” Quoting the soldier’s oath, he said. . .”to defend [the Constitution of the United States] against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” He emphasized domestic.
Firearms trainer and consultant Kelly Alwood would agree with the old soldier. “[Without the Second Amendment] there is no way to resist the government voiding all other amendments,” said Alwood during an interview with the Blaze. “Why should [the government] continue to give you your freedom of speech if there is no one to stop them? It [the 2nd Amendment] is the only safeguard we have to protect us from a tyrannical government.”
Naturally, the left is eager to ridicule “worriers” like Alwood, immediately characterizing all who voice such concerns as ‘nuts’ or ‘conspiracy theorists.’ But mistrust of the motives of governments that have disarmed their “subjects” is quite legitimate as the histories of Nazi Germany, the USSR, and China have so clearly illustrated.
To the Founders of this nation, the right to keep and bear arms became nothing more complicated than “…the right of armed self-defense against tyranny.” Indeed, that was the purpose of this right as later expressed in the 2nd Amendment. And in spite of the best efforts of modern hoplophobes and would-be tyrants to confuse the issue, it has not changed to this day.
For as eager as gun-banning politicians have been to change the focus of the gun control discussion to one of hunting or target shooting, the truth of their disarmament agenda never stays hidden for long. New York Governor Cuomo made that clear with his statement that “confiscation might be an option” when placed in conjunction with his plans for an “assault weapons” ban.
Sorry, Mr. Governor. We’ll not negotiate away our means of remaining free from the likes of you.

These same people through DHS and other alphabet agencies have recently purchased over 1.8 BILLION rounds of ammo – enough to shoot every man, woman, and child in the country more than 4 times – ammo that’s illegal for military use under international law. Considering that you and I and all of the other US taxpayers are paying for all of this ammo, it’s frighteningly reminiscent of the story of political prisoners’ families being forced to pay for the bullets used to execute them … isn’t it?
If we allow these leftist control freaks to ignore and ultimately gut the 2nd Amendment, history will inevitably repeat itself. These “gun control” proposals have NOTHING to do with preventing crime, but EVERYTHING to do with CONTROL.
Hitler disarmed the Jews and others, then murdered about 15 million.
Stalin disarmed the Russians, them murdered about 40 million.
Mao disarmed the Chinese peasants, then murdered nearly 100 million.
The Turks disarmed the Armenians, then murdered 1.5-2 million.
Pol Pot disarmed the Cambodians and murdered millions.
Rwanda disarmed its ethnic groups, then murdered millions.
The list goes on … over 170 million people murdered BY THEIR OWN GOVERNMENTS in the 20th century – AFTER they allowed those governments disarmed them.
They ALL thought “It can’t happen here” – until they were disarmed and it started, then it was too late. Don’t make the same mistake. Don’t EVER let your government disarm you.

I’m confused. The SCOTUS has upheld the right to own and bear firearma making this the law of the land. It also upheld Obamacre as the law of the land. Does this mean we can ignore Obama care like Obama is ignoring the 2nd amendmant.
Hopefully we will try to get obamacare out of the health system and government take over of their own health insurance and stop running smaller health insurances out of business, but our guns are what protects us, the truth is our government right now is turning this into a Hilter country. I understand that Government “gun control” is really about “people control.” It’s easier to control unarmed people than armed people. Just ask the European Jews. Polish Jews finally armed themselves and tried to defend themselves in the Warsaw Ghetto, but it was too little too late.

The purpose of the Second Amendment is to ensure our FREEDOM from public and private tyrants by endorsing our God-given right to shoot them in self-defense. Logically, anyone trying to deny us this right is also a tyrant and must be quickly neutralized to prevent the genocides that follow when psychopaths have disarmed societies using bogus pretexts. We need a plan for the obama gun grab. Let us peacefully resist. Don’t give up your weapons and let the police arrest you for it. When the jails are stuffed full of decent, law abiding gun owners, the situation is going to look real bad for obama. Even the non gun owners will be outraged. Obama is hoping that civil unrest comes so he can clamp down with Marshall Law and take over like a dictator. Don’t buy into the trap. Tell your friends and family that peaceful resistance will win out. Violence isn’t going to solve a thing for us and it will be perfect for obama. Any violence we do see should be checked out because radical leftists are known for staging violence and making it look like someone else did it. The Dick Act of 1902 also known as the Efficiency of Militia Bill H.R. 11654, of June 28, 1902 invalidates all so-called gun-control laws. It also divides the militia into three distinct and separate entities.
The three classes H.R. 11654 provides for are the organized militia, henceforth known as the National Guard of the State, Territory and District of Columbia, the unorganized militia and the regular army. The militia encompasses every able-bodied male between the ages of 18 and 45. All members of the unorganized militia have the absolute personal right and 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms of any type, and as many as they can afford to buy.
The Dick Act of 1902 cannot be repealed; to do so would violate bills of attainder and ex post facto laws which would be yet another gross violation of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The President of the United States has zero authority without violating the Constitution to call the National Guard to serve outside of their State borders……
