It will come as a surprise to precisely zero of those paying any attention at all that the nation’s largest teacher’s union, the National Educators Association, is decidedly liberal.
By making regular contributions to left-wing front groups such as People for the American Way and MediaMatters, it’s not as though they are trying at all to hide their affiliation, and, quite frankly, union bosses are free to spend donated money as they see fit.
When conservative teachers, unfortunately a small minority among America’s educators, arrived at a recent convention, though, they reported an overwhelming Obama love-fest impossible to ignore. From a huge banner on which teachers were encouraged to write glowing endorsements of the president’s failed record, to free t-shirts prominently displaying Obama’s name, GOP-supporting teachers could scarcely escape the Democrat onslaught.
That is, of course, unless they ventured into the basement of the convention hall, where the Republican Educators Caucus had a small table adjacent to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Teachers Caucus. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I have a feeling someone planned that arrangement to get a rise out of morally traditional (or as liberals would say, intolerant and out of touch) Republican teachers.
Understandably, one teacher complained that conservative teachers often feel like “stepchildren,” both of the NEA and GOP, since both groups effectively write them off as unimportant to their greater cause.
The NEA president himself was forced to defend a Republican teacher being booed for going off the plantation with her views.
A union that has never endorsed a GOP presidential hopeful and only supports the most moderate (or liberal) Republicans in any race is obviously not shy about its political views. Completely disregarding a segment of its due-paying members, though, shows a complete lack of respect for anyone espousing a difference of opinion.
The only way liberals have secured their position of power in education, and other institutions, is through this process of intimidation of those they can control and disdain for those they cannot.

The voucher system should take care of this
As long as the NEA controls the agenda,we’ll continue to spend 14,000 per student for the dumbest product in the world and have to import our Doctors,Engineers,and Scientists. Self centered Unions hold down competition in all industry,particularly in Education.
One of the things on the marxist program is to infiltrate the education system. Seems that they have succeeded. The NEA is run by communists, most of its members are communists, and certainly, the leadership is communist. When public employees gained the right to unionize, the door was open to the communist agenda. Hell, they were instrumental in electing a communist president of the USA. They are in Hollywood, they are in education, they are in the public unions, they are in congress, and they took over the democratic party. Why do you think the Country is so messed up. They are doing everything to bring this Country down. They only thing they have left to do, through obama, and his comrades, is to gain absolute control of the people of this Country. Declare martial law, and grab the peoples guns, and militarize the police forces of this Country, to control the American people, and eliminate the left-wing opposition. Do you still think that the November election is going to change things? Don’t hold your breath. They will use voter intimidation, voter fraud, and allow illegals to vote. With a communist in the White House, anything can happen. They are a determined lot. We are sheep if we allow the communist agenda succeed. They only understand force. There are somethings we can do to defeat them, or slow them down. Educate yourself about their agenda, and arm yourselves, before it is too late. If you vote for democrats, you are aiding and abetting them. That is called TREASON. We are pretty far gone now, but with determination and education, we can, and must defeat them. We know who these people are. Bill Ayers, George Soros, The NY times, the Main Stream Media; CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and many of the newspapers in this Country. They are the enemy of this Country, and they , one way, or another must be defeated. We ignore them at our own peril. WAKE UP AMERICA!

It’s the left wing we have to squash. I think it was just a typo.
Your words of wisdom back then apparently went unheeded. We are living it now and it is going to get worse. I guess for those of us who trust in God will pray that some miracle will stave off the inevitable. Only God can help.
What we have to do is get control this fall AND RUN THOSE FILTHY COMMIE/MARXISTS TEACHERS TO FLORDIA AND THE CAN SWIM TO CUBA, where they can live apparently like they want to………….WE DON’T WANT THIS BULLSHYT IN AMERICA!!!

Obama is their example to show this discrimination toward those who are not loyal to their political party rather than loyal to their country. A good illustration of how their philosophies divide the Union. If Obuma wasn’t pres., would they still act inclusive even though they don’t want to? And yes – sitting these patriots close to the homos was a set up! They know if they utilize the issue of homosexuality even tho it ruins peoples lives, will contribute the most to advance their agenda. Watch for this issue to come up quite often.
Consider it a privilege to be ignored by like-minded fools.
