HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — The room set aside for reporters to watch Tuesday night’s debate erupted into applause after President Obama ridiculed the size of Mitt Romney’s personal wealth.
Mr. Romney was trying to make the point that both his and Mr. Obama’s investment funds probably include investments in China — something the president has attacked Mr. Romney for.
“Mr. President, have you looked at your pension?” Mr. Romney said.
“You know, I don’t look at my pension. It’s not as big as yours, so it — it doesn’t take as long,” Mr. Obama retorted. His reply prompted laughter in the debate hall where the two men were squaring off — but across the way in the separate room where the press was stationed, a brief round of applause broke out.
Mr. Obama has made Mr. Romney’s personal wealth a major issue in the campaign, arguing that he is out of touch with average voters who pay a higher income tax rate even though they earn far less than Mr. Romney, who founded and ran Bain Capital, an investment firm.

They forget bammy is a mulit millionaire or maybe more. they forget bammy was making millions off the housing scam as a Senator. Bush ask congress 17 times to do something about the scam. the demos held the majority and refused to any thing and now we have the houseing crisis. some elderly people lost everything they worked for for many years. that is easy to forget. also bammy is a known communist.
Mitt Romney could have mentioned the 85 million Obama made on the LA oil spill, he and Soros made a fortune with the Brazillia oil oc. he did mention the cayman Islands though, that is where the money of Obamas is stashed. What scares me is tha tso many people are all for this guy, with his drones and foreclosures and unelmployment like i’ve never seen , this is a depression like era, how bad does it have to get before liberals wake up? If all independents and Republicans walkedout of here and left it to the dems and liberals this country would be gone in 2 years, maybe 3, anothe rfour years of Obama would end it. What they should bring up and whats makes this whole debate a sham is the Obama birth certificate sitting in the British archives. Hillary Clinton saw in in 20008 and never said a word, she did try to change the constitution though but it didn’t work so Obama ran anyway and won. I htink everyone who voted for him then and wants to vote for him now should look at why they want to vote for him, is it the free radios?
There is no birth certificate in British archives.
Obama has shown both his short form birth certificate and his long form birth certificate BOTH from Hawaii, and the officials in Hawaii of both parties in Hawaii have repeatedly confirmed that they sent it to him and that ALL the facts on it are correct, and this is further confirmed by the public Index Data file and by the birth notices sent to the newspapers of Hawaii by the DOH of Hawaii in 1961.
