Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) is threatening to file articles of impeachment against President Barack Obama if he moves to change gun regulations through executive order.
“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment,” Stockman said.
In a statement, Stockman didn’t hold back, saying Obama is launching an “attack on the very founding principles of this republic.”
“The President’s actions are an existential threat to this nation,” Stockman said in a statement. “The right of the people to keep and bear arms is what has kept this nation free and secure for over 200 years. The very purpose of the Second Amendment is to stop the government from disallowing people the means to defend themselves against tyranny. Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible.”

I just read this article and it started me to thinking.

Seems the State of Wyoming is thinking similar to the State of South Carolina. SC wants to give jail time to the Feds or anyone supporting ObamaCare in the state. SC is actually practicing Nullification! Now Wyoming is thinking similar concerning the 2nd Amendment. Any Feds messing around the state of Wyoming concerning gun control can get up to 5 years jail time. Again this is state nullification at work.
So, here is my thoughts for anyone who thinks them useful. Looks to me concerning the 2nd Amendment the Feds window of opportunity is about closed and congress will do nothing. However Obama could actually call an Executive Order, which I think would be great! At the same time, since time is on our side, and considering SC and WY are now considering nullification of Federal Law, looks to me people in general, specifically in the South and Red states should go on the offensive. Many state legislatures from ALL states should be contacted and start their procedures of nullification preempting any future gun control legislation.
In the case of the 2nd Amendment and states passing preemptive laws against Federal intrusion. State legislatures, especially Southern State legislatures are more likely to respond against such Marxist/liberal actions coming from DC, and that is because these states has a little more morality and human understanding than does the DC government.
Driven by the fact that even many humanists and others besides Christians supports the 2nd Amendment for various reasons, it derives support across the spectrum. This would be one of the more easier tasks to take to the Federal Government in trying to off set their agendas. Drive a wedge between the states and DC gov. and this would be a good way to help accomplish that. For this purpose it would matter little the faith of others helping in our cause, as this would be strictly a one time affair.
We know the elite wants this country divided and polarized. They are currently looking for another Fort Sumter in order to justify any reason to use force having heavy hands. I don’t expect they would be anticipating this backlash from a 2nd Amendment standpoint, as they felt comfortable enuff to pull of a couple or few mass shooting in hopes of justifying a quick action and vote to enforce gun control. What I am saying is actually they will get the opposite result from what they had hoped for, and it will cost them. And this will only anger and force them to act faster because they know time is no longer on their side. The pendulum of the paradigm shift has reversed course.

I’ll tell’ya right now, Obama will NEVER be impeached regardless to what he does. Since he can be elected president and not be a natural born citizen. And since he can pass ObamaCare and the illegal be made legal. And since he can get away with Benghazi and Fast and Furious and rig the elections and never be charged with anything; what the heck makes you believe he will be impeached? I can also say this because of what I believe concerning the bankers owning congress and the Federal Gov. Because they do own the Federal Gov they can keep in power whomever they so desire and they can do as they please. All those congressmen and all those Federal judges ONLY works for the bankers and NOT for you and your country. So, you tell me; what incentive does any federal politician or judge have to follow you in what you want for the country, regardless to how right it mite be? Remember, money talks and BS walks. But consider, there are just as many liberals/Marxists as there are TRUE conservatives and Christians in this country. The country will have to be divided in order to properly separate the people. Unless one side intends to claim the whole thing by committing genocide against the other side. If no one agrees to the genocide, then the ONLY way out of this predicament is to peacefully divide the country between the two sides.

The purpose of the Second Amendment is to ensure our FREEDOM from public and private tyrants by endorsing our God-given right to shoot them in self-defense. Logically, anyone trying to deny us this right is also a tyrant and must be quickly neutralized to prevent the genocides that follow when psychopaths have disarmed societies using bogus pretexts. The incremental low-intensity communist insurgency that we’ve not been effectively fighting will destroy America unless we quickly acquire a fierce mindset and do whatever is necessary to defeat it. We know all we need to know to do what must be done.

I won’t disagree with you in general. Actually not at all in what you believe, but what you believe and know, and this pertains to me and all of us, does not pertain to those in DC and the Federal Gov. They have put themselves above the law and God. Practically every last one of them has. Working through the federal government is a lost cause. All my writings have tried to point this out in various ways. In my other post in this thread I pointed out my thoughts in how we could oppose the Federal Gov concerning the 2nd Amendment. Yet it flies over the heads of everyone here. You’re comments gave me the impetus to add to my original comments in my other post.
There will be NO satisfaction in dealing with the Federal Gov. ALL of them except a hand-full have sold out to the bankers and are lacking the nerve and guts to stand up for the people. Congress has BEEN a circus of tricks and biscuits to the people, and they profit at your expense. They will NEVER impeach Obama as I also stated for many reasons, and that is part of the tricks they play in order to keep their charade going, making you think they are gonna do something worthwhile. Yet they offer you biscuits in the form of diatribe and statements claiming they support this and will do that for you, all the while they profit handsomely.
If you notice the congressman that threatened Obama with impeachment was a junior congressman, NOT a senior one. What does that tell’ya just to start?
As I said, DC and the Federal Gov is a lost cause. Everyone get over it, pull back, regroup and try to defend your positions from a better standpoint. The next level of protection in setting up your defense is at your state level. Let your state governments oppose DC and the Federal Gov. Take your 2nd Amendment concerns to the state level and work with them TRYING as best you can to get your state legislatures to oppose the Federal Gov on the 2nd Amendment. Use Wyoming and South Carolina as examples of how to structure bills in your state legislatures opposing anything from DC and the Federal Gov. (Read my post above in order to grasp the bills under consideration in those two states.) In short your state legislatures can NULLIFY Federal Law by making it a state crime to pass any more anti-gun laws and the Federal Gov try and impose them on your state. That is any state that has laws on their books prohibiting any more Federal Laws from being imposed onto your state and people.
This MUST be a group effort, many people calling their state legislatures, and it MUST be enacted soon. You MUST assert yourselves and be persistent! You have a much better chance dealing with your own people at the state level than with people at the Federal level, even if those Federal people represent your state. The reason is, ALL Federally elected politicians does not feel the same sense of state sovereignty and allegiance as do your own state legislatures. The Fed politicians are more isolated from their states, suffer from more lobbying and subject to bribing, are more independent minded concerning themselves and are actually taught through the Congressional Library to think in national interests and NOT in state interests. Your state legislatures are your next position of defense. USE IT!

If 40 Conservative states, the ones in the middle of the country, held a closed Constitutional Convention, by impenetrable electronic links, it might be possible to recreate our constitution without the massive Liberal states or parts of states. For example, California, could be divided or have cut out of it the massive, Liberal, dependent places like LA, San Francisco Area. And New York, New Jersey, Michigan and other such places. That would remove large numbers of dependent consuming Commies and Free Loaders. Removing 50,000,000 Free Loaders and Commies would allow the Conservatives and Libertarians to Retake American and remove the Commies, Nazis and Muslims from it.

*IF* this was really a free country, then any state would be free to leave and that would have counted for 1860-65 also.
*IF* this was really a free country then I should be free to leave with all my belongings.
*If* this was really a free country I would be able to own my own property, which no one can.
I should be able to do a lot of things without penalty or being accused of breaking a law.
For anyone who claims the war was over slavery, which I know is not true, let me ask you this, assuming the war was over slavery:
By the country you have today, with all the problems you now face; was it worth freeing the slaves over and in its’ place making everyone slaves of the US Government? Was it worth the price you paid for WWI and WWII, Korea and Vietnam? (Not to mention the other wars.)
Was it worth the ghettos you now have, the neighborhoods full of drugs and crime? Was it worth the black population, which accounts for app. 17% of the population, committing app. 70% of all the crimes from all races?
Was it worth the NAACP and actors and notable blacks now openly claiming to kill and murder white people? Was it worth putting app. 70% of the black population on welfare at your expense? Was it worth exchanging your God given Inalienable Rights for the “Civil rights” only tyrannical governments can grant, which only benefits a few select people or groups at your expense? So let me ask anyone; what is the price of freedom really worth?
Is it really worth your blood to fight to free another who then condemns for you freeing them and then dishonors you? Or do you actually fight to free yourself? I can only add this.
Right now, what keeps us from doing anything physically is our manners and civility and decent God fearing human beings. I don’t want war or trouble no more than you do or any decent God fearing person. As the Scripture says, try and make peace with all men as much as lies within you.
otoh, we can’t roll over and die. We MUST stand for our God fearing principles and faith. This does not mean we submit to the devil, which is EXACTLY what our opponents are, the devil! So the obvious question becomes; where is the line drawn? What invisible line must they cross in order we exert ourselves?
To the last question I would reply:
You can simply state your demands like, we won’t register our firearms. or we won’t honor any type of bans…etc… But that’s too straight forward for them. They will take you as bluffing, which leads me to the Fort Sumter conspiracy and maneuver. Note, South Carolina was forced to fire on Fort Sumter because Lincoln tricked or misled the South Carolina, Florida and Alabama peace negotiators that were in Washington DC talking about a peaceful withdrawal from Fort Sumter and Fort Pickens in Florida. (Note reinforcements had also been secretly dispatched to Fort Pickens also, but a combination of things prevented their arrival there.) Before the firing on Fort Sumter the independence of these states had already been acknowledged by the Federal Government and president Buchanan, who stated the Federal Gov had no power to force these states to remain in the union. Also note, no signed treaties could be signed at this time because Congress was in recess until July 4th, so madman Lincoln acted on his own authority concerning everything as soon as he was sworn into office. It was solely Lincoln’s decision to change the direction of Buchanan and decide to forcefully force these states back into the union. But in order to do this madman Lincoln had create an incident that would rile and anger the American people to the point they WANTED to fight! This is where the conspiracy to secretly resupply Fort Sumter and Fort Pickens was started. About 3 days out from Sumter, Lincoln notified the South Carolina government he was resupply Sumter regardless to what they did. btw–Fort Sumter was NOT officially a US Government fort, as it had been previously abandon years ago. The commander, Maj Anderson was originally at Fort Moultrie but left it and sneaked into Fort Sumter because he thought it easier to defend. So, what would you do if you were the governor of SC and you were told that an abandon fort was being reinforced by another country and that your peace and treaty negotiators had been denied any speaking privileges before the US president or any other US official? What would you think about that fort being rearmed, resupplied and additional men added? Doesn’t sound like the person committing those acts had any intention of wanting any peace to me…. And that is the way it happened!
And similar happened in WWI and WWII when the US became involved in those wars.
But my point is this; knowing how the US government works, they must have a scapegoat by creating one. And at the same time they must make it appeal to most Americans that the government is the good guys, just doing the right things in defending your freedoms. People will rally to these sorts of lies by the millions because they wanna believe in something positive and have hope that all their previous beliefs and hopes have not been in vain. For example; how many friends and converts are you gonna make by going around telling everyone how big, mean and bad the US Government is, time after time? It’s like the little boy crying wolf! Plus you offer people NO real incentive except for pessimism, while at the same time destroying their hopes, all their beliefs and faith in government being in vain.
Don’t you think the government knows all this and has people thinking through all this stuff? Don’t you think they know it will benefit them and not you by making things look like it is your fault? This is what I call the Fort Sumter maneuver. And its’ worked beautifully for the US in madman Lincoln’s War, Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Iraq and you can consider the other related Arab Countries. No wonder Bin Laden and the Muslims hates Americans so much! Can’t you see why?

My fight was over 150 years ago when my people cheated and lost because of it. I don’t even claim to be American any more. I love how everyone idiolized Hilter and voted him into office, only later to find that in a GRADUAL way, he chipped away at the people’s freedoms. He too requested gun control and did this gradually too at first; then later he asked for ALL people to register their gun and then later confiscated all those guns from them.
